Empower School of Health's vision is to empower lives by promoting universal access to health and education. We work with health professionals from morethan 50 countries to strengthen institutional capacity of global health programs. We also conduct assessments, research and provide advice to donors,governments and UN agencies on sourcing, logistics, pricing, quality, drug regulations, catalyzing local production and technology transfer. The John A. Kufuor Foundation was founded in 2010 by H.E John Agyekum Kufuor. The John A. Kufuor Foundation (JAKF) is registered under Ghana’sCompanies Codes, 1963 (Act 179) and recognized as a Non-Governmental Organization. The Foundation is an independent and non-profit institutiondedicated to the promotion and sustainability of Ghana and Africa’s development. H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor: Former President of Ghana. Currently, he is the Global Ambassador against Hunger for the UN World Food Programme; Chairman ofthe UN Interpeace Program; Chairman of the Sanitation and Water for All Partnership; and Lead Advocate for the Partnership for Child Development.

Ambassador Denis Broun: He has worked in the field of international health for the past 30 years. He is currently a permanent observer in Geneva of the Partnership for Population and Development and serves as an adviser to Empower and to the Chairman and CEO of CIPLA, a leading Indian generic manufacturer.

Mr. Ashutosh Garg: He has worked in the corporate sector for 25 years. Boards member of Gavi. He worked for ITC Limited as a Managing Director of one of theITC group companies, based in Singapore. He founded Guardian Pharmacy in 2003 and grew it to the second largest pharmacy chain in India.

Dr. Ray Yip: He is Special Advisor to Gates Foundation; Former Director - China Program, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. His work involves assisting thegovernment as well as civil society by addressing key global health issues while supporting the planning and development of major foundation projects.

Mr. Mungai N. Lenneiye: With more than 35 years of experience he has worked with World Bank in Washington DC as a Senior Social Protection Specialist, andas former Director in World Bank Zimbabwe. He is the founder of Udugu Institute whose goal is to promote innovative operational research for Africa'sdevelopment.

Prof. Paul S. Lalvani: Director, Empower School of Health; Co-Chair, People that Deliver. He has more than 25 years of experience in capacity building, PSM,access to medicines and technology transfer. He is an advisor to Gates Foundation, World Bank, WHO, & various Ministries of Health.
