Your Shapeoko shipped with an updated and improved z-plate. The new z-plate is more rigid and provides additional Z travel for your machine. Use the following diagram to assemble your z-plate correctly. Note the pulley orientation below The belt should interlock with itself as it routes through the 15mm standoffs Note: When looking from the front view, the fixed pulley should be on the left side of the assembly. If you install the z-plate opposite of what is shown in the photo, your z-axis polarity will be reversed.
