Chapter 1: Introduction

Wealth in Runescape means many wonderful things. Positive things. Wealth in Runescape

means the coolest looking armor, the strongest weapons for battle, the rarest items for all to drool

at as you walk by, the respect from players much higher level than you, the level 99 construction

mansion - you get the idea. Your wealth in Runescape directly relates to the level of respect and

the level of enjoyment you experience in the game.

Now, I should point out that there are many great ways of making money in Runescape.

Unfortunately, this guide will not be covering them. This guide will only cover the BEST ways of

making money. We are talking about the few methods that only make 1,000,000 GP per hour or

better (unless you have under 2M gp).

At the start of this guide, it might seem like making money is a bit slow. Well, to make

money, you need money. Everyone has to start off somewhere, so if you have less than 2M GP,

the process might not seem very fast at first. However, once you reach over 2M, you will see the

money rolling in.

Chapter 2: Bananas (600k/hr)

Background

There are a few good ways to start making money, but here is one of the easiest methods.

In fact, you will go bananas once you find out what the method is. It’s collecting Bananas in

baskets! Let’s take a look at how much each banana baskets sell for on the Grand Exchange:

That’s 1751gp per Basket!

Getting There

There are a lot of banana trees that you can find at Karamja. The best part is that

a glory amulet will teleport you right in the middle of the banana field. You will need to buy

about 4 charged amulets of glory for every hour that you plan on doing this method, but you can

resell them after you’re done.

Each tree at the banana planation takes about 5 minutes to respawn with bananas, but

there are 33 banana trees, so you don't need to worry about running out of bananas to pick.

Collecting

Before you begin, purchase the necessary glory amulets. Also purchase 345 baskets and

tow charged rings of dueling for every hour that you plan on doing this method. Equip your

amulet of glory and ring of dueling.

Take our 23 baskets from your bank, and use your amulet of glory to teleport to Karamja.

Pick five bananas from the nearest tree, and fill up an empty basket with them. Keep doing this

until all of your baskets are filled. Fill up your last 5 inventory slots with 5 bananas. Then use your

ring of dueling to teleport to castle wars. Bank the bananas there and repeat the process.

Profits

You can collect 345 banana (5) baskets per hour, and you will also collect 75 individual

bananas during that hour. So let’s take a look at the profits.

So to get the hourly profits, you subtract the gains by the expenditures.

Hourly Gains – Hourly Expenditures = Hourly Profits

624,720 – 2,493 = 622227

So you gain over 600K per hour just from picking bananas!

Chapter 3: Black Scim (400K-1M/H)

Background

Black Scimitars are often the target items of many Runescape merchanting clans. As a

result, Black Scimitars sometimes become as valuable as 10,000 gp each! The beauty of this

method is that we’re going to teach you how to get your hands on a black scimitar every 45

seconds just by picking them off the floor! And… you can make up to 1M GP per hour!

As you can see from the image below, there are frequent waves in the prices of black

scimitars. All you have to do is collect the black scimitars when the prices are low (less competition

to get them) and then sell them off when the prices rise back up. Ideal selling prices circled below.

Specific Technique

Start off with an empty inventory at the East Ardougne castle.

Once inside the castle, you will find that there is a black scimitar on the floor.

Simply pick up the scimitar and switch to another world. It will take around 40 seconds to switch

worlds. It takes 12 minutes for a black scimitar to respawn, so make sure you have a couple of

worlds pick to switch around with.

It’s also a good idea to use one inventory spot for Ardougne teletabs, as this makes your

trips much faster. Once your inventory is full, use a teletab to teleport you back to the center of

Ardougne. Follow the route below to bank your black scimitars once you have teleported to the

middle of Ardougne.

The best time to gather these black scimitars is when the grand exchange price for this item is low.

That’s the time when the fewest people will be collecting them, because they are worth the lowest.

The trick though, is to store them, wait for their price to go up to 10K, and then sell them.

Profits

You can gather a full inventory of Black Scimitars approximately every 15 minutes. That

means you can get a hold of 100 Black Scimitars using this method every hour. You have to bank

4 times, and each time takes 1 minute. Banking takes only 4 minutes total, so we can consider that

negligible.

If you can gather 100 Black Scimitars per hour, and you sell them once they are worth

10K, then every hour you make a profit of…

Black Scimitars Collected x Price of Each = Profit per Hour

100 x 10,000 gp = 1,000,000 gp PER HOUR!

So that’s a profit of 1,000,000 gp per hour that has no real requirements. Even when the Black

Scimitars are around 4K each, that’s 400K per Hour, which is great for a starting method. This

method isn’t very well known, so try not to let people see you collecting these black scimitars. And

if anyone finds you and asks what you’re doing, just say you are exploring a castle ;)

Note

If you want to start collecting these scimitars, wait for when their value is low, but shows a

rising trend. This will mean less people are out there collecting them, but at the same time, you

know that their price is going up and you will be able to sell them soon.

The Grand Exchange shot of the last 180 days of activity shows that it’s a great time to start

collecting near the April prices. The price sharply fell which means not a lot of people are

collecting them, but the prices are on the rise again, so you know you will be able to make a

good profit once you sell them in a couple of days. Some might even wait until the price is a bit

higher, but it’s a trade-off between competition you face while collecting and the profits you

make from selling.

Chapter 4: Greenman’s (500K-1M/H)

For this method, you need level 50 construction and at least 1million gp. If your Player

Owned House isn’t already at Yanille, you should move it there. Also set your house arrival

location to be “At Portal” instead of inside the house.

Background:

There is a pub in Yanille that sells an item called “Greenman’s Ale”. You can acquire it

form the store for 10 gp each, but it sells on the Grand Exchange for up to 2.5k each! You will be

using house teletabs and charged amulets of glory to make trips to the bank and back to the

Yanille pub.

Method:

You should have a few hundred house teletabs in your inventory. Also have a good

amount (30-40) of dueling rings in your bank. Take out an amulet an equip it. Have some money

in your inventory.

Use the home teletab and you should arrive in Yanille. Run from your house portal to the

Yanille pub. Click on the bar tender and ask him for a Greenman’s Ale. Keep buying Greenman’s

ale until you have a full inventory. Then use your dueling ring to teleport to castle wars. Bank all

your greenman’s ale into the castle wars bank chest.

Use the house teletab again and you can arrive back to Yanille to repeat the process. I

did a test of two runs in 4 minutes and 42 seconds. This means I was able to collect 52 greenman’s

ale in 4 minutes and 42 seconds.

Profits

Before we look at prices, let’s calculate how many Greenman’s ale we can collect in one

hour. Since you are able to collect 52 in 4 minutes and 42 seconds, we can collect 661

greenman’s ale per hour.

Normally I multiply 661 by the GE price of Greenman’s ale to get the hourly profit. Right

now, the price of Greenman’s Ale is at 785 gp.

So let’s calculate the hourly profits. You can collect 661 Greenman’s Ale per hour, and sell

them at 2800 gp:

Ales Collected x Price per Ale = Hourly Gains

661 x 785 gp = 518,885 GP!

This is the gains for the method given without even using summoning familiars. So you can make

even more money by using those to carry more ales.

Chapter 5: Collecting Z-Wine (461K/HR)

Background

Wines of Zamorak are located in the Chaos temple north of Falador, near the borderline

to the Wilderness. Here’s a problem: every time you grab one, nearby monks will attack you, you

lose some magic levels, and you might get hurt by Zamorak himself. The key is to use Telekinetic

Grab (aka Tele-grabbing) on the Wines of Zamorak.

I realize this method is known by some. This is an F2P method and most of the F2P methods

can’t be kept secret for long since there’s few of them to do. HOWEVER, what most people

DON’T know is that the prices of Zamorak Wines are skyrocketing as a result of the upcoming

bonus exp weekend. That is why this method is currently the BEST method for free players hoping

to get to 20M GP.

Requirements

Magic level 37

Staff of Air

Lots of Law Runes (at least 200)

Water Runes (100 or so)

Method

Step #1: Head to Falador, un-equip all of your armor and wear weight-decreasing equipment,

like Penance Gloves and Spotty Cape, and follow the red path in the map below to get to the

Chaos temple.

Warning: If there are other players in the temple with an Air Staff, they are probably Tele-

grabbing too. If you use Telekinetic Grab after another player you will lose a Law Rune! To avoid

this, change worlds. Going to a foreign language server (which can be found by clicking on the

flags near the bottom right of the Runescape main-page) will help a lot.

Step #2: Once at the Chaos temple, use Tele-grab on the Wine of Zamorak. Keep Tele-grabbing

until you have 26 Wines of Zamorak.

Step #3: Teleport back to Falador, bank your Wines of Zamorak, go back to the Chaos temple

and start Tele-grabbing again! Repeat the process until you have 1000 wines of Zamorak.

Profits

Every hour, it's possible to get 150 wines of zamorak using the above method.

Each wine of zamorak is worth approximately 3,377 GP on the Grand Exchange.

You spend 302 gp trying on each(law rune used in telekenetic grab)

So you have a net profit of 3072 per wine of zamorak!

Z. Wines Per Hour x Profit Per Z. Wine = Hourly Profit

150 x 3075 gp = 461,250 GP PER HOUR!

That's an hourly profit of almost 461K PER HOUR! If you do this method for a few hours,

you can get to 20M in a matter of days. Not only that, but you also receive 7000 magic

experience per hour from casting the tele-grab spell!

Section 3: Getting 9 Digits (20M-100m)

Chapter 6: Golden Scarabs (1.7M/HR)

Background

When playing the Pyramid Plunder game, you can obtain little artifacts. Few people know

what to do with these artifacts, so they tend to sell them on the Grand Exchange. Through their

lack of knowledge, you can make a sweet profit.

You can purchase these Gold Seals on the Grand Exchange for about 460 gp.

And as it says on the description, they can be sold to Simon Templeton for 1000 coins! That’s a

profit of about 550 gp per scarab! The only problem is, most people on Runescape have no idea

who Simon Templeton is!

Getting to Simon Templeton

For this method, you will essentially be buying Gold Scarabs and selling them to Simon

Templeton for tons of money. So let’s look at how to get to Simon. You can use a Pharaoh’s

Sceptre (3) for its Jaleustrophos teleport. This will cause you to appear right next to Simon. There

you can sell your Gold Scarabs to him. But you have to do it efficiently, which we’ll cover right

now.

Selling Scarabs Efficiently

You will be making 120 runs to Simon in the course of an hour. That means you will need

to purchase 40 Pharaoh Sceptre (3) and 15 rings of dueling (8) for every hour that you plan on

doing this method. You can recharge the Pharaoh Sceptres at the end of each hour, and resell

them once you’re done with this method. You will also need 3360 Golden Scarabs for every hour

that you plan to do this method.

Start off by equipping the ring of dueling and the pharaoh’s sceptre. Then withdraw 28

golden scarabs. Use the Jaleustrophos teleport and appear next to Simon. Sell the scarabs to

Simon (a quick dialogue sells all your scarabs to him, and money appears in your inventory). Then

use the ring of dueling to teleport to castle wars. Bank and repeat the method.

Recharging the Sceptres

Recharging each Sceptre costs about 1.7k. You have to offer the Guardian mummy from

the Pyramid Plunder minigame an offer of 24 pottery scarabs (total value of 1.7k) for every

sceptre you wish to recharge. So you can assume the recharging cost to be 68k. Note that the cost

of Pharaoh’s sceptre will not be taken in the hourly expenses calculation, because you resell them.

Profits

Hourly Expenses (Total Value = 1,597,190) Hourly Gains (Total Value = 3,360,000)

So the hourly profits can be taken by subtracting the hourly gains from the hourly profits.

Hourly Gains – Hourly Expenses = Hourly Profit

3,360,000 – 1,597,190 = 1,763,000 GP

Chapter 7: Making Spined Helmets (3M/HR)

Background

Spined helmet is an item in Runescape that can ONLY be made through an NPC in

Runescape. Most people have never even heard of Spined helmet, because there’s spiked helmet

and Spiny Helmet (slayer item) that hog the spotlight.

Spined Helmet is an item that can be worn my rangers for a significant ranging bonus.

However, the only way to make them is to collect the materials and ask an NPC to create them

for you. Very few people know about this, and yet, there is a demand for Spined Helmets by the

ranging community. The range bonus for this head gear is significant, because at this level, this

helmet is only second to Robin Hood Hat, which provides +8 range bonus, but costs a whopping

5M GP, whereas spined helms cost around 36K GP.

That’s why the Spined Helmets have a demand on the Grand Exchange. So this method will teach

you how to making these Spined Helmets, and make a nice profit in the process.

The requirement for this method is level 30 construction.

Technique

Start off by buying 390 circular hides, 390 dagganoth hides, and 30 house teleportation

tabs. Then go to a real-estate agent around Runescape and have your house moved to Rellekka

(hence the 30 construction requirement). You can find a real-estate agent in just north of the

Varrock Museum and another real-estate agent just east of the Falador furnace.

Once you’ve moved your house, go to the nearest bank. Equip any weight-reducing gear and a

Ring of Kinship. Then withdraw your stack of 30 home teleportation tabs, 13 circular hides, 13

dagganoth hides, and a stack of coins (try to have a stack of 1M GP or more).

One last thing before you begin the runs to make spined helmets. Click on the house options

button in your options menu, and select to arrive “At Portal” instead of “In House”. This quickens

the process of getting to the NPC that makes the spined helmets.

Once you use the house teleport, follow the route below.

The NPC who will be making these Spined Helmets is Sigli the Huntsman. He is pretty much at the

entrance to Rellekka, so you don’t even have to run more for than 5 seconds before you reach

him. See image below.

You want to talk to him as soon as you see him.

Talk to him about making Spined Armor. It will take about 4 dialogue screens before he gets to

making the spined helmet. But after he makes the first Spined Helmet, you only need to click

through two dialogue boxes to get him to make the remaining 12 helmets.

He’ll ask if you want to make more another spined helmet.

To that, you of course reply “Yes” until you have 13 Spined Helmets.

You should have 13 spined helmets in your inventory like in the image below:

Then use the Ring of Kingship to teleport to Daemonheim. You can also use Ring of Dueling to

teleport you to Castle Wars, as the bank is closer and a one-click bank.

Once you bank, start withdraw another 13 Circular Hides and 13 Dagganoth Hides, then repeat

the process. Let’s see hwo much you can make by making these spined helmets.

Profits

First let’s calculate how long each run takes. It takes 5 seconds to run from the Relekka

teleport area to the Huntsman. Then it takes 30 seconds to turn your hides into Spined Helmets.

Banking takes 20 seconds (if you’re slow) using a ring of dueling, and teleporting takes another 5

seconds. So in total, that’s 1 minute per run. I’ve done runs at a faster rate when my internet has a

strong connection and I’m really focusing.

If you can do one run per minute, that’s 60 runs per hour. Each run yeilds 13 spined

helmets, so you are making (13 x 60) 780 spined helmets per hour. If you have a Pak Yak, then

it’s possible to make close to 1000 Spined Helmets per hour. But for now, we’ll assume that you

have level 1 summoning.

The price spent on each circular hide was 22.9K, despite the being able to usually get it on the

Grand Exchange for a much lower price than te listed market price. But still, we’ll consider that it

costs 22.9K to purchase circular hides.

Then you need to purchase Dagannoth Hides. They cost 4238 GP each (GE Price).

You also need to pay Sigli a sum of 5000 GP for each Spined Helmet you want to create. Now

let’s take a look at the spined helmets:

And again, these helms sell well on the Grand Exchange, because they are only second to the

Robin Hood hat for lower level rangers that are training to acheive higher levels. And since the

robin hood hat costs 4M GP, many rangers turn to this helmet as an alernative.

So let’s consider the expenditures and gains on the next page, then figure out the hourly

profits of this method.

So here are the hourly expenditures and gains.

Chapter 8: Geyser Glory (19.2M/HR)

Background

Glory Amulets are used by almost everyone in Runescape. It provides convenient travel to

popular locations such as Edgeville, and it also provides a great bonus stat-wise. Similarly, ring of

wealth allows players to easily teleport to Grand Exchange, and it also helps players get good

drops from monsters that they’re killing.

For this reason, charged Glory Amulets and Rings of Wealth are in high demand.

Charged Glory Amulets and Charged Rings of Wealth generally sell for 1000 GP or more than

their uncharged counterparts. In fact, you can make a decent profit by charging amulets and

rings. Most players think that the only way to charge amulets of glory and rings of wealth is

use them on the fountain under Hero’s Guild. THIS IS WHERE THEY LOSE OUT ON MILLIONS.

While you can charge maybe a few hundred glory amulets per hour using the fountain in

Hero’s guild, very few people on Runescape know that you can use a Geyser Titan to charge

glory amulets and rings of wealth. Best of all, it charges at speeds of 800 charges in just 3

minutes! So let’s take a look at how you can use this method to potentially make up to 16 MILLION

GP PER HOUR!

Specific Instructions

The only requirement for this method is to have about 20 million gp, and have level 89

summoning. Start off by purchasing as many rings of wealth and glory amulets as you can. Keep

in mind that you will be able to charge 800 every 3 minutes. So that comes out to 16000 every

hour. Here are some ways you can easily overcome the buying limit:

1. Find people on the Grand Exchange to help you buy them. Just spam that you’re buying

uncharged glory amulets and rings, and that you need people to buy some for you.

Maybe pay them a few thousand gp extra if they give you large quantities. If they seem

like dedicated people, ask them to sell you some on a daily basis. If you can do this with

multiple people, then you have a daily supply to thousands of uncharged amulets and

rings just within that group. And your buyers will be happy for it, because they make

money just from keeping a buy offer on the Grand Exchange.

2. Ask your friends. Don’t tell your friends about the method, but maybe mention to them that

you’re starting a collection of glories or rings of wealth. They will be happy to help, and

sell you the necessary things.

3. Ask your clan mates to help you out. Use the same story from idea 3, and tell your

clanmates that you are starting a collection. Then maybe offer ranks for people if it’s your

own clan.

4. Make multiple accounts to buy amulets and rings on. Transferring items in-between

accounts that you own is looked down upon by Jagex, but it’s still doable.

Once you have enough uncharged glory amulets and rings of wealth, it’s time to start charging

them. Position yourself at a one-click bank such as the one in Castle Wars. Place the Glory

Amulets and Ring of Wealth in an tab you can easily access. Clear your inventory and summon

your Geyser Titan Familiar.

Now you can withdraw an inventory full of uncharged Glory Amulets or uncharged Rings

of Wealth. Then just click on your Geyser Titan. He will say…

Then you just press “Click here to continue”. Tada, you get a full inventory of charged amulets or

rings in just a few seconds. Then click on the bank chest, dump your inventory of charged amulets

or rings, then withdraw another inventory full of uncharged amulets or rings. From here, just keep

repeating the process until all of your Amulets of Glory and Rings of Wealth become charged.

Profits

So I mentioned earlier that you can do 800 charges every 3 minutes. That means you can

do 16,000 charges on an hourly basis. But let’s assume you spend part of each hour of collecting

glory amulets, so being fair, you can cast 12000 charges per hour. How much profit does that

come out to?

As you can see, the price difference between an uncharged glory amulet and a charged amulet is

1600gp. Knowing that we can make 12000 charges per hour, and each charge yields a profit of

1600gp, let’s calculate the profits.

So we multiply the hourly charges times the profit of a charged amulet to get the hourly profits.

Charges Per Hour * Profit Per Charge = Hourly Profits

12,000 * 1600 = 19,200,000 GP!!

That’s a profit of OVER 19.2 M GP PER HOUR! And that’s not even the maximum,

because I took some charges off since you need time to buy the charged glory amulets.

Sometimes this goes higher depending on GE prices, so you will can make even more per hour!

You will typically see this happen when an event or new update requires people to travel to the

destinations that the glory amulet can teleport people to. This method becomes even more

profitable also when there are new monsters with good drops (use for Ring of Wealth).

Chapter 9: Mystifying Staffs (6M/HR)

Background

This is a really easy method where you use an NPC to turn battlestaffs into mystic staffs.

Many people don’t even know that such a thing exists, and even if they do, most people don’t

realize how profitable doing this method is.

There is an NPC named Thormac that lives on the top of the Seers tower. To have him turn

your battlestaffs into mystic staffs, you need to complete the Scorpion Catcher quest. This quest is

really easy, and requires you to have 31 prayer. The hard part about this method is obtaining a

Seers Band 3, which is obtained from the Seers Village hard task. But having Seers Band 3 is

essential to maximize your profit from this method.

Method

Start off by buying 400 steam battlestaffs for every hour that you plan on doing this

method. Once you have that, go to Seers Village bank. Withdraw an inventory of Steam

Battlestaffs and a teleport back to Seer’s Village. Run south to Sorcerer’s Tower and go to the top

floor. Talk to Thormac and ask him to turn your steam battlestaffs into mystic steam staffs. Let’s

see the price difference between the two staffs…

So how much money can you make per hour doing this method? Let’s find out…

As you saw from the image above, you can make a profit of 42800 GP per staff that you

convert into a Mystic Staff. But it’s not free, because the Thormac charges 27,000 GP per staff

converted (40,000 GP if you don’t have a Seer’s Band 3). So the profit per staff converted is

14800 GP. You can convert 400 staffs per hour. So let’s check out the hourly profit…

Staffs per Hour x Profit per Staff = Hourly Profit

400 x 14800GP = 5, 920,000 GP PER HOUR!

That’s over 6 MILLION GP Per hour using this method!

Chapter 10: Crystal Keys (8.4 M/Hr)

Background

Let’s start off right away with the money-making method. There are a lot of people who

buy crystal keys in order to use them on a chest in Taverly. This chest grants you certain rewards,

and sometimes the rewards are worth more than the value of the key. For this reason, people buy

the crystal keys in mass from the Grand Exchange.

However, that’s not what this method will discuss. In this method, we look at how we can

profit from the people that are doing the above method. While they are gambling for a profit

by using the chest on the keys, you are going to make a straight profit by assembling these keys.

Monsters drop “loop half of key” and “tooth half of key”. These two make up the

components of a crystal key. So you just need to use a loop half of a key with the tooth half of a

key, and you will receive a crystal key. These are easily sold on the Grand Exchange, because as

mentioned above, many people use them on the chest in hopes of getting good reward items.

The trick is being able to obtain a lot of tooth and loop halves, because there is a Grand

Exchange buying limit for them. So let’s look at a method to gather lots of loop and tooth halves

in ways that avoid the 4-hour buying limit.

Obtaining Tooth and Loof Halves

We’ll explain how to profit from this method in a few seconds. But first, let’s see how we

can get past the buying limitation for the “loop half of key” and “tooth half of key”. There is a

Grand Exchange buying limitation of buying 100 of each every four hour, but there are MANY

ways to get past that limitation.

1. Find people on the Grand Exchange to help you buy them. Just spam that you’re buying

them and that you need people to buy some for you. Maybe pay them a few thousand

gp extra if they give you large quantities. If they seem like dedicated people, ask them to

sell you some on a daily basis. If you can do this with multiple people, then you have a

daily supply to thousands of crystal key components just within that group. And your

buyers will be happy for it, because they make money just from keeping a buy offer on

the Grand Exchange.

2. Ask your friends. Don’t tell your friends about the method, but maybe mention to them that

you’re starting a collection of keys. They will be happy to help, and sell you the parts for

the crystal key.

3. Ask your clan mates to help you out. Use the same story from idea 3, and tell your

clanmates that you are starting a key collection. Then maybe offer ranks for people if it’s

your own clan.

4. Make multiple accounts to buy key parts on. Transferring items in-between accounts that

you own is looked down upon by Jagex, but it’s still doable. And even a level 3 f2p

account can buy the parts of the keys, so it’s a good way to accumulate key parts.

Technique

Once you have approximately 3000-4000 crystal key tooth and loop halves, position

yourself at a one-click bank like Soul Wars or Castle Wars.

Start off by withdrawing 14 Crystal Key Loops and 14 Crystal Key Tooth Halves. To

make the process go fast, reposition your inventory as in the image below:

Use the last two items with each other. Since they are right next to each other, the process will go

very quickly. You don’t even have to wait for the crystal keys to be made. Just keep using one

half with the other for the fastest results.

So the keys will start being made from the top. That’s another reason why you want to put

just two key components at the end of the inventory. Then you can keep using those without having

to worry about them being eaten up during the process, and having to switch to another pair of

components. Once all 14 keys are made, store them to your bank. Then withdraw another 14 of

each component and repeat the process.

Profits

First let’s calculate how many keys you can make per hour. It takes 15 seconds to produce

an inventory of 14 keys. That means (14*4) 56 keys per minute. On an hourly basis, you are

creating (56*60) 3360 keys.

We see from the Grand Exchange prices that the profit per key production if 2.5K. So if you can

make 3360 per hour, the hourly profit is (2500 * 3360) 8,400,000 GP!

Chapter 11: Pro Flower Gaming (5M+/HR)

Introduction

There is an item in Runescape called “Mithril Seeds”. You can use these seeds to plant

flowers on the ground. Every time you click on the mithril seed, a random colored flower appears

on the ground. Wouldn’t it be a fun game to guess what color you are going to plant next? Well,

a lot of people on Runescape thought so, and turned it into a very profitable betting game!

The idea behind the “Flower Game” is that there is someone hosting (planting flowers) and

someone playing (guessing the color of the next planted flower). The player will pay the host a

certain fee to play, but in return, the host must reward the player if they correctly guess the color

of the next flower. So if you can properly host, then there’s a good chance that you will make

good money.

However, you can’t just have a bunch of mithril seeds and expect that everyone will play

your flower game. There’s a lot of things you need to consider if you want to become a successful

flower game host. Did I mention successful hosts make MILLIONS of GP worth of profit every

HOUR?

Your Appearance Will Do the Advertising

As I mentioned, you can’t just pick up a bunch of mithril seeds and starting hosting – no one

will play! You have to have certain things before you get out there. This method is in the 50M-

100M section of Shad’s Billionaires Guide because you need to invest in how you look.

To run a flower game that everyone ill play, you need to look wealthy. That way people

be assured that you don’t run off when they give you bets of 1M GP or higher. So at the very

least, try to get some Bandos Gear to wear. Skill capes look very nice if you have any, because

that shows you are a more experienced player who cares about the game. If you have any rares,

then wearing those will help tremendously. Finally, having a flower equipped to your weapon slot

is a good symbol that you are a flower game host that knows what he/she is doing.

Here’s an example of my look for flower games:

Notice that I have white flowers. White flowers and black flowers are rarer flowers from

the planting, so it’s better if you could get a white or black flower. Also, try to get an outfit that is

expensive, but sticks out at the same time. You want people to notice you so that they pick you

over other flower game hosts. It’s good to coordinate your outfit. If you could get a general color

theme going in there, then that’s fine. I tried to go for a purplish look with some white trimming.

Account Name and Level

Your account name is also really important. If you can have a flower game related name,

then it tremendously helps you get people to play. Having a flower game related name shows

that you are dedicated enough as a host to go around Runescape with a flowery name. That level

of dedication in the game means you are less likely to scam a player.

Your account level is also very important. Rich level 3’s are usually trusted because

everyone knows the level three is either a wealthy skiller or has a wealthy main that can transfer

the money to the level 3 account – either way, people know that the level 3 is wealthy and less

likely to scam them if they won. Being a high level player is also helpful, because it demonstrates

that you are an experienced player that has the skills required to make money on our own. For

this reason, they are less likely to view you as a scammer if you a higher level.

Good Manners

If you aren’t well mannered, then you should develop some good manners. If you are short

tempered, then learn to control your temper. As a host, you must be very gentle, kind, and

gracious. If you have these qualities, then people will have a much more enjoyable experience

while playing with you as a host. If they have an enjoyable experience, that means they are more

likely to buy more plays, and even tell their friends about you so that their friends can come and

buy some plays.

Using your manners will be discussed later in this guide. It is incorporated into pretty much

all aspects of getting players and having players continue to play with you.

Practicing the Art of Hosting Flower Games

Now that you have the basics down, it’s time to start hosting. However, you don’t want to

go to a real flower game hosting area just yet. You have to make sure you know what you’re

doing. It’s best to practice some flower games at places where your reputation won’t get ruined in

the event that you mess up.

I would go to the Grand Exchange on a random world with not too many people. Once

you’re there, keep typing “Flower Game – 500K to play – 3x if you win”. Soon enough, you’ll see

some people gathering around, wanting to play.

If they seem curious, you should say “Hello Sir/Ma’am. Care to play?” Usually this sort of

kind and mannered question wins people over. They were thinking of playing, but they weren’t

really sure about your character. By addressing the person as “Sir” or “Ma’am”, they are now

assured that you are a mature individual who is unlikely to scam.

Once they pay you, kindly ask them if they need to know the available color options. For

your reference, here are the possible flower colors that can result when you plant a mithril seed,

and the respective percentages of being that color:

Once the player knows the available colors, then the player will call out a color. As soon

as the player does so, plant the mithril seed. A flower will be planted, and it will take on a

specific color. If the player guessed the color correctly, then you have to pay them for their

winning. If they did not guess the color correctly (much more likely), then you just earned 500K

GP. Most likely they will keep playing multiple rounds to win, and others will join in. So as you can

see, the millions really start to stack up!

However, if you see that a lot of people are gathered around to play your game but no

one wants to play, then you can offer someone a free try to show that you are legitimate and

trustworthy. Tell them they can have a free play, and if they get the color correct, then they win

500K. If they win, give them the 500K, because it’s worth the investment.

Out of the Sandbox

Now that you’ve finished practicing your flower game skills at a less populated world, it’s

time to go to worlds where more people play, and play with higher stakes. This presents you with

the opportunity to make more money, and make that money faster.

Good places are world 2, just south of the Grand Exchange. Many flower game hosts set

up their games here, but at the same time, a lot of players are here because they know

legitimate hosts are located here.

Another good place to try is in between the Edgeville bank and furnace on busy worlds.

Many pk’ers come from their wilderness trips to take a break. They will shell out millions just for

the fun of it. It serves as a way for them to get their mind off of the stressful nature of PK’ing.

Getting the Games Rolling

If you really want to get the games rolling (lots of people playing), then you need to

make a name for yourself. You can do this in a few ways (feel free to combine them).

1. Make friends with your regular players – A lot of people like playing flower games

regularly because it makes them feel good to risk money with the prospect of gaining

some money without having to do anything. So these are the habitual gamblers basically.

You can add them to your friend’s list and pester them every so often about playing.

2. Say “aww” or “good try” if someone doesn’t get the flower color correct. This makes the

players feel like you’re on their side, because you care about their loss. It’s extremely

effective in getting players to continue playing, and it also catches the attention of players

around the area. Showing compassion appeals to other players because it shows you will

be on their side even if they lose.

3. Have people around the area advertise for you, or advertise that you are a legitimate

flower game host. This makes you seem like a more legitimate and trustworthy host that

can be trusted with higher bets.

4. Establish your presence in a world or location. A lot of times, people don’t even need to

be on crowded worlds to get games going. If you have established yourself as a

legitimate flower game host among a group of people, you can tell all of them that you’ll

be online at a certain time, on a certain world. Then they will all come to play when you

are on. You could also offer them 1 free play to get them to come out to your location.

The people who are regularly on that world will also take notice, and vouch for you when

you are hosting games.

5. Again, HAVE GOOD MANNERS! If you want to keep the games rolling, it’s hard if you slip

up with a rude comment or bad behavior. It changes your image as a host for all the

players that are, or were, planning to place bets.

Incredible Profits

As I showed you earlier, here’s a graph of the different flower colors and how frequently

they appear. Most players will pick the flower colors that are in the 14-15% frequency.

So let’s assume that you are hosting flower games that require players to place 1M GP bets, and

you payout 3x the bet amount if they get the right color. According to the graph, the best chance

they have of getting the color correct is 15%. This means that statistically, they would get the

color correct ONCE in every SEVEN plays.

So if they play seven times, then they have paid you 7 MILLION GP so far. If they win one

of the 7 wagers (the statistical probability), then you must pay 3x. Since the bet is for 1M, you

pay them back 3M.

Since they paid you 7M, and you paid back 3M gp, that’s a profit of 4 MILLION GP!

Obviously, there are chances that they might get lucky, that’s why I advertised this method as a

5M+/hr method. Because if you are hosting with 1M bets, and follow the expert hosting

techniques mentioned in this guide, then you can make AT LEAST 5M/HR, if not 20M/HR or more!

I guess I’ll be seeing more “flower” related display names on Runescape now.

Chapter 12: GE Merching and Flipping

Item flipping is an underrated and not very well known method of money-making on

Runescape. However, it is one of the most profitable method and a method in which you only have

to spend short amounts of time per day at the computer. This makes it an excellent means to make

tons of money in terms of time spent. It’s also a very effective method since since only the few

billionaires in Runescape know how to make the best use of this method. I will share these

techniques with you. But first, let’s get an understanding of what “Flipping” really is.

What is Flipping?

It can be summed up one sentence: You are buying an item for slightly lower than the

Grand Exchange average-trade price, and selling it for slightly higher than the Grand Exchange

average-trade price. However, there is an art to the method, and it’s not done as simply as the

previous sentence suggests. For this reason, we will go through how YOU too can flip items like the

up-and-coming and current billionaires. Also, there is minimal risk involved in item flipping. You

will RARELY ever lose money. If you are worried about harming the economy, don’t worry.

You dont harm anyone in the process like a merch clan would. Since you are buying low,

you are helping anyone who wants to sell their item quickly. Also, since you are reselling the item

at a high price, you helping someone who would want to quickly purchase the item.

Grand Exchange Function (after free trade)

The Grand Exchange is probably one of the better updates done to the game. People will

claim that it’s not like before when they were able to sell items to players without having a guide

price. However, The Grand Exchange (GE) is a extremely useful because it endows players with

the ability to buy and sell items without the hassle of looking around the market area for someone

who will trade with them. The GE takes out this hassle by matching buyers with sellers.

Before the free trade update, prices had certain margins (Low, Mid, and High), which was

great for flipping because it allowed a sense of security – you couldn’t go past these margins. In

addition, there were 4 hour limits in which players could buy and sell items (they still remain,

however they function differently, will explain later). For example, you could only buy 25k flax

every 4 hours, and afterwards you were required to wait before selling these flax. After the Free

Trade Update, prices still have a guide price, but no longer have margins. There are a few

advantages, as well as disadvantages to this update.

The Disadvantages of the update are:

Reduced sense of security (Your never 100% sure the street price of any given item,

despite what the guide price says)

Slightly more risk involved (Prices can jump all over the place, however this issue was still

seen before Free trade)

The Advantages of the update are:

The 4 hour limit is virtually non-existent (It still exists, I will explain later)

Much more possible profit (More flips / per day)

As I stated, the 4 hour limits still exist today, except they have almost no effect on your flips,

assuming you do them properly. Before the update, a player could only possess a certain amount

of an item for every 4 hours, and must wait an additional 4 hours before selling those items back

through the Grand Exchange. Since the Free Trade Update, these limits work in a similar fashion,

however now you do not need to wait 4 hours before selling those items back to the Grand

Exchange. The limit works like the following; you may buy the 4 hour limit's worth of any item, not

more. After buying said amount, you may now sell it back instantly to the grand exchange without

the previous waiting period. Simply put, you may only possess the 4 hour limit quantity at any

given time (unless you want to wait 4 hours). If you sell back this quantity, there is no need to wait

another 4 hours.

Why is this beneficial? Well, before the update, it was hard to get a lot of flips in, unless you

chose more than one item to flip. Now, if you find an item that seems to be working well, you can

almost "abuse" it. For example, you buy 25k fire runes for 4gp and sell them it 7gp (all values

are made up)...you can continue to do this flip assuming you sell back the previous 25k fire runes.

Choosing an Item

Choosing an item(s) is one of the most frustrating portions of flipping (merching in general)

for both novice and expert flippers, however some of the more advanced flippers will create lists

of items that work / don't work / haven't tried that will help with a lot of the hassle. Over time,

you will start to build up a list similar to this. When an item works for you, save it in a notepad,

word doc, or just simply write it down. With that being said, it is still recommended to look up

items before flipping, don't always assume they will work because they have worked in the past.

Judging by experience, the biggest reason people stop merchanting is due to the process

of finding an item(s). They assume that they can't find any items, so they are not meant to be a

mercher. This is not the case. Most merchers have a hard time choosing an item(s) for a variety of

reasons. Having a difficult time finding an item is normal, especially for beginners. The more

practice you have, the faster you can overcome this obstacle.

The biggest piece of advice I can give someone who wishes to find an item, is to find what

works for YOU. Every mercher has items that work for them as individuals, as well as items that

simply don't work. Also, when people ask a Flipper which items to flip, they will NEVER (or at least

I hope), give away items because it will cause them to lose profit. Think about it. If you are

flipping an item(s) will little to no competition, you'll be able to buy and sell it much easier. In

addition, you will not have to worry about those *insert bad words* who just love to under cut

and over cut your prices (See Merchanting Etiquette). If you do not take anything else out of this

guide (which I hope is not the case), at the very least take the following out; Every mercher has

item(s) that work for them, as well as methods / strategies that work for them. Find your own

methods, find your own items, and simply improve on your technique. If it's slow at the start, no

worries, it will pick up in time.

The best thing you can do, is test out a bunch of various items, and find what works best

for you and your cash.

One great benefit of Flipping is the minimal risk it brings to the table compared to other

merching forms. An actual loss with Flipping is rare, but it does happen, you will lose money at

least once, it happens to the best of us. Cut your losses and off you go. Even though flipping has a

risk factor, there are certain ways to minimize this factor. Some Flippers will flip anything that can

profit, however it is possible that they flip an item(s) that is crashing and the GE happens to

update during their flip. There are certain ways to go about choosing any item to avoid much loss,

even if your caught in an update.

If your here for the money, and don't mind a little loss here and there, feel free to skip

ahead. If your interested in finding the safest method of Flipping, read on. To begin, if you are

not aware, the Runescape website comes with a feature that assists you in the process in which to

choose items. Make your way to the grand exchange feature on the Runescape website.

After going to the Grand Exchange page, look for items you may be interested in Flipping. After

finding a few items, you will need to look at a few things. The first thing, that will give you a

general idea is the numbers that are either Red with a negative (-) in front or Green with a

positive (+) in front.

The safer ones are typically the Positive (+) Green ones.

Just because it is red or green, doesn't automatically mean it is bad / good, it's just to use as a

rule of thumb.

Next, if satisfied, click on the item itself to view the graph. There are 3 variations seen on

graphs (usually). 1) A positive (rising) trend. 2) A stable trend. 3) A negative (crashing) trend. This

is what will give you the best idea in terms of risk factor. See the following pics for more details.

The following pics will be using the 90-day trends. However, please note, for most merching, it's

best to investigate and compare all 3 trends (30, 90, and 180-day).

How to Determine Flipping Prices (Buying/Selling Prices)

Flipping for the first time is fun and exciting, but it might not result in maximum profits if

you don’t know what you are doing. For this reason, I suggest you pick 5 items to flip – that way

if one item doesn’t profit as much as you had hoped, you still have 4 other changes with 4 other

items.

Buy an item that you would like to merchant. Take that item and sell it on the Grand

Exchange for minus 10-15%. Try to find out what price that item sold for. You can check your

Grand Exchange history to see what price the item sold at (even if you place a minimum price to

sell the item, sometimes it will sell for a higher amount). So check the GE History for the sell offer,

and write down the price – in the case below, the sell price was 430gp.

Now, you should buy a lobster at +10-15% and see what price you get it for. In this case, it’s

445gp (even though you might have put in an offer for 450 gp).

So if I was to flip raw lobster I buy for 431 (1gp more then what the item sold for). Then I would

sell the lobsters for 444ea (1gp less than the price I bought it for). When you buy, you pay 1gp

more to get in front of the list when buying. When you sell the item, you put 1gp less to get in

front of the list of selling. It’s pretty simple! This is how you ensure that you are selling at EXACTLY

the right prices!!

Now you have to wait 4 hours for every 20k lobsters to buy. If you are going to school for

12 hours, place an offer for 60k lobsters. Then you have to wait another 4 hours to sell. Once

those 4 hours have passed, you can start selling. 60k lobsters, 13 gp difference = 780k profit in

a matter of 15 minutes of work! This is just one item. You have 6 slots to use.

Mechanting/Flipping Etiquette

Believe it or not, Etiquette is a huge part of merchanting. If no merchers cared about other

merchers at least a litte bit, no one would make any profit. When I mean Etiquette, I mean it is not

required, but is often (if not almost always) followed so it benefits both parties. Merchanting

Etiquette focus' mainly on the offering and selling portion (which is the main part of merching). A

huge part of Merchanting Etiquette is not altering the profit margin (found in above sections)

unless completely necessary, and by this I mean, your offers will not sell or buy after hours of

waiting. By not altering the profit margin you will make more profit in the long run, not have

every mercher on your bad side, and get more flips in faster. Let me explain each one

individually.

More profit: You will get more profit by not altering the prices in the long run. Why is

that? Simple. If you constantly undercut or overcut other merchers because you are lazy /

impatient and want to buy or sell items faster, you might figure your making more money faster,

but that is wrong. As you alter you prices, the other merchers will notice that their offers are now

at a stand still. What will they do? Alter their prices. Now you may think, that's fine, I'll just alter

mine once again. When you think about it, they are most likely thinking the same way you are,

therefore both of you will continue to loss profit. Also, some merchers may not just undercut you by

a few gp, but possibly hundreds of gp (which will decrease your profit quite a bit). In order to

avoid 99.9% of this, be patient and allow time for your offers to buy / sell before altering their

prices.

Being on merchers' good sides: You may think, who cares if other merchers don't like me?

Or, there is no way for other merchers to find out that it is me undercutting or overcutting their

prices. This is all true. You do not need merchers to like you and they cannot find out who is on the

other side of their offers. With that being said, it is always good to have merchers on your good

side because it is possible for them to figure out what item your buying (whether you post merch

logs, brag about it, you name it...) and they can easily make sure you are annoyed when trying to

buy and sell items. By that I mean, merching the same item, buying out its stock (similar to a merch

clan), etc. Also, some merchers will occasionally use their combined wealth to buy out an item

(again, similar to a merch clan, but with a much smaller amount of people). If your in good

standing with them, they may either A) invite you in or B) warn you, so you do not merch that item.

Most people will completely skip this portion of the etiquette because they could not care less,

and they have the right to, but it can only benefit you, trust me.

More flips, faster: Again, this sort of relates to the other portions of the etiquette. You may

think undercutting or overcutting other offers will allow your offers to go through faster, thus

allowing more flips faster. This is only partly true. Sure, you will get some extra items quicker, but

what about when the other mercher(s) realize their offers have been completely stopped? Easy.

They will begin to alter their offers, which will effect your offers. From this point, it is only a

downward spiral and it only gets slower.

Hopefully after reading this section, you will realize that Etiquette does play a huge roll in

the merching game and if you follow those easy little steps, you will only increase your profit. In

addition, as you merch more and more, you will realize more etiquette out there that is simpler to

just follow instead of being lazy or impatient

Peak Merchanting Times and Time Zones

Before you start flipping, you have to know when to flip. If you start flipping items during

random times of the day, it might not be as effective as flipping during peak times of the day

when most players are online, active, and trying to buy/sell things impatiently.

It’s really important to know how time zones affect flipping and marching. To maximize your

profits, you have to know the peak times of different time zones. As mentioned earlier, merching

punishes other players for their ability to wait, so using time zones can be good in figuring out

when to merchant.

In addition, it is important to know where the majority of runescape players come from (time

zones). Many merchers will have slightly different takes on this matter, I will merely give my point

of view, and what I personally think is the best times to flip. From the information that I and other

merchanters have gathered, we have concluded that the majority of players come from:

United Kingdom

United States

Canada (can be considered US due to similar time zones)

Australia

Given the above list of where a majority of Runescape’s players come from, it’s important to look

at their timezones. Given the above regions, you need to become familiar with these following

timezones:

Pacific Standard Time – US & Canada (PST)

Eastern Standard Time – US & Canada(EST)

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT/BST)

Eastern Standard Time – Australia (GMT +10)

So given these timezones, you want to merchant and flip during the peak activity times within

these time zones. That means on weekdays, you should merchant when it’s the timezone’s

afterschool to bedtime period. Then on the weekends, you should merchanting during each

timezone’s after-lunch to late bedtime period.

So here are the times you should merchant at for each timezone:

Monday - Friday : 3PM-9PM

Saturday - Sunday : 1PM-10PM

Finally, knowing the conversion of the time zones. For those who don't miss to spend time

converting themselves, hope this helps a bit.

4PM Eastern time = 1PM PST = 9PM GMT+1 (or BST)

In conclusion, typically these time zones, as well as these peaks, will offer the most profit. They

will offer the most profit because a high amount of players will be online who are both buying

and selling items. Due to the larger amount of players, faster transactions (Buy/sell) will be made,

allowing for more profit in the end.

General Rules and Guidelines for Flipping

Here is another way to look at flipping: Item flipping is based on the fact that the people

playing Runescape, most of them under 12, want their resources/items/cash in seconds, so

they will sell at stupid prices to get them. A person might want to go dragon slaying, and

so sell their mined essence for a low price to get the money for armour. This is where we,

the item flippers, take advantage of this fact. Flipping punishes the average player for

their impatience. This of course, is the more cynical of the two ways of looking at flipping.

There is very little risk involved in item flipping; you almost never lose money!

There is a buying limit on how many items of a certain type you can buy every 4 hours.

The list is enclosed below. Also, if you have bought something, you may not sell it for 4

hours after buying it, even for min price.

If you’re merching 10 of an item, a 10k difference is a 100k profit at the end of the flip.

Small = Big where flipping is concerned.

Use all 6 GE slots for flipping 6 different items at one time. Have some buying offers and

some selling offers at the same time. Doing this can increase your earnings dramatically

If you place an offer for an item in the GE, and the item comes quickly, your price is too

good!

The item must be traded in high volumes each day. An item like Jade or Opal is not a

good item to flip.

When buying the max limit of an item (e.g. 10000), the total price must exceed 3 mill.

If you are going to school, and won’t be back for 12 hours, leave an offer in for 3 times

the buying limit; if the limit is 10000, leave an offer in for 30000 of the item. Chances

are, you’ll get them all.

If an item is rising or falling, you can still flip it, just adjust your price accordingly. If it is

dropping, buy the item closer to minimum price, and sell it for slightly under medium price.

If it is rising, buy it for above med price, and sell nearer to maximum price. It’s common

sense.

Choose your own items as well as the ones I suggest in my personal list of good flipping

items.

Knowing When to Avoid Flipping an Item

There is always a small amount of risk involved in money-making. Research has to be done in

order to be successful in merchanting. Check GE graphs to see if a clan is making prices go up.

CLAN is merching this item as u can tell by simply is going up.

You want to avoid it when it is so high up. Buying in earlier might be okay (especially with the help of the GE update detection method), but flipping when the price has already gone up so much is very risky.

A merch clan is merching this item!

If the item is above normal and is going up, avoid flipping that item. When a clan merches an item, it goes high but when people start to dump it at large amounts in G.E, the item becomes hard to sell and drastically lowers in value. These are one of the few times that you might experience a loss.

Riding Buyout Clan Items

This is another simple concept, but you can use it on your quest to get to 500M GP. When

merch clans put up an item, they are almost impossible to buy normally. If you look at the early

market signs, such a popular buyout clan item beginning to crash, you should seize the opportunity

and stock up on it while people are dumping. Don’t buy it too early or you will be overspending

for the item. Don’t buy it too late either, or the dumping will have stopped by then, and it will be

harder to obtain the item. If you plan the buying time correctly, you can really stock up on items

that a buyout clan will plan on manipulating.

This will allow you to “ride” the buyout Clan item as it goes up in value, but make sure

you dump it with plenty of time to spare before they reach their dump price. Merch Clans almost

always dump their items early, so if you buy one of their items at 1k, and their dump price is 10k,

dump it at 2k. Doubling your GP with a Merch Clan should be good enough. Using Chapter 2’s

method will help you do that, because it allows you to purchase an item that a Merch Clan is

manipulating, and then ride the item to higher values for a good profit.

Catching the GE Update

What is a GE Update?

A GE (Grand Exchange) update is an event that marks the resetting of item values on the

Grand Exchange. For example: today an item might be worth 500gp on the grand exchange.

The next day that item is worth 510gp. Somewhere in between those two days, the GE updated,

so the value of the item was reset to a higher price.

Note: This isn’t as important anymore with free trade. But I’ll still keep it in here.

Why are GE Updates Important?

GE updates are the basis of some of the most fundamental money-making strategies on

Runescape. In fact, this guide will refer to Grand Exchange updates multiple times. For this reason,

it’s crucial to understand what they are and why they are important (hence this topic being in the

“Background Knowledge” section of this guide).

A GE update is important because it allows you to buy an item that is rising in value and is

hard to get a hold of. Take this item for example:

Notice that the item shot up from around 100k in value (Mid-April) to 200k in value (Start of

May) within a span of 2 weeks. This means if you invested 100M gp, you would have 200M gp in

a matter of 2 weeks. However, if you tried to buy this item during those 2 weeks, it was almost

impossible to get your hands on them through the Grand Exchange. That is of course, if you don’t

know the secret to buying an item as soon as the Grand Exchange updates. You see, once the

Grand Exchange updates, there is a new maximum price. If you are one of the first people to

place a Buy Order on an item for the new maximum price, then you will be one of the first people

to get your hands on the item as soon as someone sells some of the Grand Exchange – it’s only

fair, since you put in a higher price than everyone else and you did it before mostly everyone

else, you should be the first one getting the item once someone sells it.

So knowing when the Grand Exchange updates allows you to easily buy items that

everyone is trying to get their hands on. This allows you to secure items that are rising in value so

you can sell them once they are near their peak. For the item shown above, I was able to invest

100M into the item when it was worth 100k each. Once the item reached 200k each, I had 200M

in the bank. The importance then, of knowing when the GE updates, is to be able to buy items that

are raising in value (whether it’s from Merch Clans, game updates, etc) so you can sell them along

the way when you feel comfortable and possible double your money.

Now the question remains, how does one detect Grand Exchange updates? Being the

genius that I am, I have found out a secret method that will let you alert you when the Grand

Exchange updates and notifying you even if it’s 1 AM at night.

How to Detect Grand Exchange Updates

Step 1: Sign-up for a NEW yahoo mail account (free) at yahoo.com and download the Yahoo

Messenger (free) at http://messenger.yahoo.com/.

Step 2: Before you proceed with downloading the Yahoo Messenger, just make sure you un-check

all of the offers they have. These usually download unnecessary applications to your computer.

Step 3: Once you’ve finished installing Yahoo Messenger, open it up and log-in using the Yahoo

Mail account you signed up for.

Step 4: Though, if you aren’t staring at the computer for hours on end, there’s a good chance

you’ll miss the update. This is why this next bit helps. Click on the menu called “Messenger” and

then select “Preferences” from the list.

Step 5: Like the picture shown below, go to the category “Alerts & Sounds”. Then select to be

alerted when “I received a message in Yahoo! Mail”. Choose a sound file from your computer that

website has a free service that sends you emails every time the Grand Exchange updates. Sign

up for their FREE service. I strongly advise that you DO NOT sign-up for their premium service, as

it requires a monthly fee and the method of notification is almost the same as their free service.

Step 7: If you sign up at geupdate.com with your newly made Yahoo account, then you will get an

email to your Yahoo Mail account every time the GE updates. And if you are signed on to Yahoo

Messenger, then you will receive a sound alarm whenever you get a new email in your Yahoo

Mail inbox. So basically, you have an alarm sound system that goes off every time the Grand

Exchange updates! Now you will never miss another Grand Exchange update!

Step 7: Geupdate.com also gives you an idea of when the next update will occur because they

keep track of when updates last occurred, and at what point they are likely to occur next:

Step 7: Make sure to turn up your computer’s speakers to full blast so you can hear the alarm

going off for an update during the day. If you are planning to do this at night, plug in

headphones to your computer and bring those headphones close to your bed. This way, when the

alarm goes off, you will hear it very distinctly if you have the headphones next to your pillow, but

it isn’t TOO loud so that the sound disturbs your family members and/or roommates.

Chapter 6 Conclusion

Going from 100m to 500m may seem like a daunting task at first. However, if you

remember the tips of flipping described in this chapter and you spend 15 minutes a day doing

the flips, then you should be earning well into the 10-20m a day in terms of your earnings. Also

remember that you can earn even more money doing the money-making methods from the

previous chapter regarding Pizza Making and the Turning Pouches into Scrolls method. Those

methods have the potential of generating multiple millions per hour, so doing those methods in

combination with flipping can make you well over 30m on a daily basis. If you keep it up, it will

take you less than 2 weeks to be half way to the goal of reaching one billion gp. Let me tell you,

once you reach half a billion gp, the amount of money you can make per day gets MUCH MUCH

MUCH MUCH MUCH faster, as you will find out in the next chapter.

Chapter 13: Flower Clan Boss (500M - 1B)

Background

The owner of top flower hosting clans on Runescape make BILLIONS of GP each week,

and host drop parties where they drop BILLIONS of GP. Owner of flower clans tend to have

billions of gp, partyhats, and all the other best gear in game.

At this point, the owners of major flower clans are the richest players in Runescape. So

how do you go from having around 500M – 1 Billion and reach a state where you can boast your

multiple billions? You can either use the staking methods in the bonus guides that come with Shad’s

Billionaires Guide, or you become the owner of a large flower clan. This guide will teach you how

to go from someone with no idea about the clan world, into someone who runs one of the most

profitable friend’s chat clans in the game.

Making a New Account

The next step is to create a new account. Creating a new account will allow you to have a

friend’s chat name that people will type to enter the friend’s chat. It is suggested that you make

easy-to-remember names that have the word “flower” or “flowuh” in it. Avoid using numbers in

your username, as they are harder to remember. Good examples of account names are “Gold

Flower” “Legit Flower” and “Flower Now”. You’re going people to join the friend’s chat by typing

in this account name, so make sure the account name relates to what you are offering.

Friend’s Chat Setup

You will need to setup a clan chat for your new character. To do this first click on Clan

Setup under the clan’s option on your user-interface section:

You want to get as many people as you can into your friend’s chat, so next you will change the

“Who can enter chat?” option to “Anyone.” Do the same with who can chat.

Make sure that you are the only one who can kick. Allowing others to have the power to kick can

lead to really bad situations where customers are lost from your flower clan for good.

Obtaining Flower Seeds

In order to plant flowers, you need to purchase mithril seeds.

Each time you click on one of these seeds, it will plant a flower. Even though the cost of mithril

seeds are 505 each, they are well worth the price for the amount of money you will gain.

The CEO and Sole Employee

When you begin your flower clan, you’re going to be the only one running the show.

Unless you can get some friends who are around as wealthy as you, you are pretty much on your

own. This means you will be running the “flower duels” that you will have other people take care

of once your clan gets bigger. But first who have to know what your flower clan is going to be

providing for other players.

What Flower Clans Do

So what the heck do flower clans do? Well, you’re going to learn very well. Being the only

person in your flower clan so far, you will be running the show. You will pretty much be hosting

flower duels. Basically two players will bet a certain amount of money into a “pot”. Then a flower

is planted for each player. The player that has the color name that comes first in the alphabet is

the winner. So for example, two people give you 5m each. Then you plant two flowers. The first

flower you plant will be for person one, and the second flower will be for person two. If person

one gets a flower color that’s blue, and person two gets a flower color that’s yellow, then person

one wins. This is because Blue starts with the letter “B”, and yellow starts with the letter “Y”. The

letter B comes before the letter Y, so person one (blue flower) wins the 10m pot.

Since there’s no “betting pot” that exists in Runescape, flower clans come in to serve as

“betting pots”. Basically, two players who both want to bet 10M will give you 10M each. So now

you have 20M. Then both players will give you the money, and whichever player gets the earlier

alphabetical flower will take the 20M. It’s that simple! That’s your job as a member of a flower

clan. Ranked members in the flower clan pretty much serve as a “betting pots”. The more famous

and trusted a flower clan becomes, the higher amount of money people are willing to trust the

ranked members to hold as “betting pots”.

So where’s the profit in this? Well, there are HUGE profits which we’ll talk about in a few

sections later. But let’s look at the immediate profits you can make even if you are the only person

in the flower clan.

When two players bet 10M GP each and trust you to hold the 20M GP, you get to keep

10% of that 20M. It’s a well known rule among flower hosts is that host keeps 10% of the pot. So

the winner will get 18M, and you keep 2 Million GP! So you make 2 MILLION GP just by serving

as a “betting pot” for two gamblers. This is why this is a good F2P method, because you can

flower in F2P and serve as a betting pot. However, we will talk about the BIGGER profiting

techniques of owning a large dicing clan, later on. First let’s see how to set up a flower duel

between two players and what you need to know in order to make the flower duel happen.

Hosting a Flower Duel

Go to a relative crowded area. Good places are near world 1 or world 2, near the

Grand Exchange. Another good area is in between the Edgeville bank and edgeville smelting

furnace on crowded worlds.

Keep typing “Hosting flower duels: 5M+ pots”. That means you are willing to host flower

duels for pots above 5 Million GP. If you are wearing good gear (hence this being in the 500M –

1B section), you will have people who will want to bet with you because you look like you

wouldn’t scam people for just 10M GP – especially when your reputation as a dicing host is at

stake.

So tell the two people to join your friend’s chat. Once they’re ready to go, plant the

flowers. Announce for whom the first flower is for (usually the first person that paid in the pot).

Then plant the second flower. The earlier alphabetical color wins.

Say congratulations to the player who won. Make sure you pay him right away. Keep

10% of the pot for yourself. Then give an “Aww” or “Good try man” to the player who lost. If

they see that you are compassionate to them, they will be more likely to play again.

Growing Your Flower Clan

So you’ve seen that you can make a profit from this method. Other people will be

interested to share in this profiting. Let them, because there’s MUCH BIGERR profits to be made

once you keep growing your clan. Now you need to focus on growing your clan so that it can

become as big as possible.

Start off with hiring some people around the area of where you’re dicing to advertise for

you. So instead of you typing, have 2-3 guys typing about your flower duels and advertising the

fact that you’re a legit flower host. They usually charge 200-400k/hr to advertise.

This will help get more people into your friend’s chat and have more people notice your

flower clan. Having more people join your friend’s chat creates a snowball effect. Normally when

someone joins your friend’s chat, they will leave if not many people are in your friend’s chat. This

is normal, because if there aren’t many people, that person won’t have many people to flower

duel with.

However, if you have 10-20 people in your friend’s chat, you will see that suddenly more

people will come in because they see there are people in there to duel with. Then more people

will come in and want to stay because of the large number of people they see in the clan before

they joined. And the effect keeps compounding until you have a sizable number of people in your

friend’s chat.

Just look at the insane number of people in this dicing clan at world 2:

So for now, you will be hosting all the flower duels. But after a while, you will begin to notice that

there’s a lot of people in the friend’s chat, and a lot of duels to host. So the ranking begins.

Assigning Ranked Members

Once your dicing clan (friend’s chat) has a lot of people inside of it, you will notice that

other people that host flower duels will want to become a part of your friend’s chat so they can

host flower duels for the people in your friend’s chat.

Initially, agree to let a few people become ranked members in your friend’s chat. Do this

free of charge, because you need some back up to help you grow. If you rank these other people

who want to be hosts, they will also have an interest in seeing the flower duel clan grow. So they

will work with you to make sure the flower clan (friend’s chat) has as many people in it as

possible.

Assign ranks based on how wealthy a player is and how many flower duels they have

been able to handle in a trustworthy manner. This reward of ranking alone will cause people to

help you grow your clan and host flower duels on the name of your clan. However, there are

some more things you can do to grow your flower dueling clan – after that, we’ll talk about the

BIG profits.

Methods to Growing Your Flower Clan

Here are a few methods that a LOT of players would normally miss or not think to use in

their attempt to grow their dicing clan:

Maintaining a Presence – One thing that made the dicing clan “Dragon Dyce” so popular

is that they ALWAYS have some form of large presence at the world 2 spirit tree.

Everyone knows where to find them. That’s why it’s important for your dicing clan to pick a

popular spot on a popular world, and stick to that spot! Always have a few hosts there.

It’s a good idea to have ranks from different time zones.

Infiltrating Other Dicing Clans – A practice that might get your clan frowned upon, but still

bring lots of business, is by going into other flower clans and advertising inside of them.

Sure you’ll get kicked, but if you get a chance to point out the advantages of your flower

clan, then some people from those other clans will at least come to check out your dicing

clan. It’s like someone who’s in Vegas. They could stay at one Casino, but they want to at

least visit some other ones before they leave.

Advertising on Forums – The forums is a good place to advertise your flower clan. You just

have to be careful that you don’t come off as spammy. If there’s a post made by someone

who says they just lost a bunch of stuff in the wilderness, tell them they can cheer up and

try their luck by dicing in your flower clan. And leave you’re the location that your flower

clan usually has a presence at, in case they, or someone else reading the post, feels in the

mood to flower later on.

Creating an Actual Clan – Another popular way to get people to go to your dicing clan is

to create an actual clan on Runescape. If your clan can become #1 at something like

Rated Clan Wars, then you can use your clan’s homepage on the Runescape website to

advertise your dicing clan.

Hosting Drop Parties – This is probably one of the easiest ways. Just go around gathering

up people for a drop party. Then have a drop party to promote your dicing clan and

show people that your clan is about giving away money, and not scamming it.

There’s a lot of ways to advertise and spread the word about your dicing clan. You just have to

be creative and think out-of-the-box.

BIG PROFITS From Running a Flower Clan

So you might be asking by now, how can a flower clan make you BILLIONS of GP per

week without you having to do much work? It’s simple. Once your flower clan becomes popular

enough, people will BEG to become ranked so that they can host flower duels. After all, a

popular clan attracts people who are willing to gamble 100M-500M at a time.

That means the person hosting duel flower and serving as the “betting pot” will get 20M –

a ranked member can scam those two people for hundreds of millions.

The solution to this problem is one that make you TONS of money. You can set up your

dicing clan rules so that certain ranks are only able to handle certain wagers. For example, a

recruit rank will be able to handle a maximum of 20M betting pots, and generals to handle

something like 500m betting pots.

However, to ensure that they don’t scam the flower duelists, tell them to give you a “rank

fee”. Basically they will buy a rank, and the cost of the rank will range anywhere from 2-10x the

maximum betting pot that they are allowed to handle. So for example, if someone wants to

become a recruit rank to handle betting pots of 20M GP, you should charge them at least 40M

GP to become ranked.

As for the people who want to become generals, I’ve seen big clans where generals are

charged 2-5 BILLION GP to become ranked! And it pays off, because they are making 50-100M

for the high stakes flower duels. So if you are the owner of a big flower clan, now you see how

you can make billions of GP each week without doing any work besides assigning someone rank

that they pay for.

It won’t be easy to build at first. You will no doubt encounter hurdles and obstacles. But

once you get over this bumps… oh boy oh boy! You’re going to have the items and gear in the

Now you have clear understanding from step one to the final step of how to take a few

hundred million and turn it into your first billion within a matter of days. Be sure to invest some of

the money into the Grand Exchange. You can also begin to buyout items once you feel like you

Chapter 14: 900K/HR While Smithing!

Background

The Blast Furnace is a minigame in which a team works together to smelt ores at bluk.

However, the point of this minigame isn’t about the speed, because the high capacity of the

furnace is offset by its distance from a bank.

The point of the blast furnace is the lower cost, because you need only 4 coal per runite

bar instead of the usual 8. Once you get the runite bars made, you want to go from the furnace

to the bank as fast as possible. This guide has many hours of testing behind it, and it will provide

you with the fastest and most efficient way to do this method.

Keep in mind that the numbers described in this guide are estimates, because the exact

amount of time needed for each run is variable, depending on where in the cycle the furnace is

when you load your ore. But after many hours of testing, I have been able to get extremely

accurate averages.

900K/HR calculated for this method assumes you are using a Pak Yak (96 summoning).

You can still profit from this method without one, but the profits will be slightly less. Since this

method requires smelting runite ores, you will need level 85 smithing. This guide is also assuming

that you know the basics of the Blast Furnace mini-game. If you are unclear on how to do some of

the things described in this guide, it’s best to check out a mini-game guide for blast furnace.

“Pre-Heating the Oven”

The title is a bit of humor, basically saying what you need to do before you actually start on using

the furnace method. You should buy a minimum of 680 runite ores and 2,720 coal ores. You

should also get 2 pak yak pouches. Once you’ve bought all your stuff, head over to the “Blast

Furnace” world, 58.

Equip an ring of wealth and teleport to the Grand Exchange. Withdraw a pak yak pouch and

summon your pak yak familiar. Set the button on the Summoning interface to “Take BoB"

Withdraw 28 noted runite ores and store them into the pay yak. Withdraw another 28 noted

runite ores and keep them in your inventory. Withdraw a coin stack of about 4000 GP. And

finally, withdraw 216 noted coal.

Making the Runs

Run to the north west part of the Grand Exchange. You’ll see a small trap door just south

of that underwall tunnel. Go down the trap door.

If you click on it, it will take you to travel to Keldagrim. To get to the blast furnace area, just run

in a north east direction after reaching Keldagrim.

Run up the ramp to the conveyer belt, and temporarily drop your noted coal. Click the "Take

BoB" button so you have 27 runite ore, then click the conveyer and put the ore on it. Pick the noted

coal back up again. Run down the ramp and trade Ordan. Sell him all 216 coal you brought with

you. Then click "Buy 50" to buy back 27 unnoted coal, and run back up the ramp and load them

on the conveyer belt.

Repeat this 7 more times so you load exactly the 216 coal you brought with you. This

represents the coal for the first load of ore you already loaded into the furnace, plus the runite

ore you have not yet put in. Now use the "Take BoB" button again to take the second batch of 27

runite ore and try to load them on the conveyer. If other players have been running the furnace

successfully, you may already have 27 bars made, and the game will let you load your second

set of 27 ores.

Go down to the dispenser, withdraw 27 bars from it and store them in your yak, then help

other players run the furnace until your second batch is done. When it is, withdraw your second

set of 27 runite bars, teleport to the Grand Exchange, bank and repeat. Don't forget to swap out

your ring of wealth when it is out of charges. It’s good to keep a few in your bank. This doesn’t

really count as an expenditure, because you can just resell the rings of wealth after your are

done with the method.

Sometimes when you try to put the second set of 27 ores into the furnace after the coal is

added, only a few ores will go in, and the game will complain that you can't put in any more. If

this occurs, it means your first batch of ore isn't processed yet, so go down from the conveyer and

help run the furnace until your first batch of bars is ready. When it is, take out exactly one bar,

because you can't put more ore in the furnace if you have 28 bars in the dispenser. Then load the

remaining 26 runite ore into the furnace, withdraw the remaining bars from the first batch and

store them in the yak. Help run the furnace until your second batch of bars is done, collect them,

teleport to Edgeville and bank there.

Assuming the furnace is running properly, it should take 4.5 to 5.5 minutes to do a full load of

bars.

Chapter 15: Mining Runite

Runite may be forgotten by a lot of people, but it’s one of RuneScape's best ways to

make money. A perfect hour will earn you 1m GP. If we take Hero’s Guild Mining for example, it

takes on average 75 seconds to log in, mine 2 ores, and switch to another world. With would be

1m per hour made if Runite Ores are valued at around 11k each. Even without a perfect hour,

you can still make very good money mining Runite ores.

There're 6 places on RuneScape where you could mine Runite. We will be covering the

best spot for F2P and P2P. Both F2P and P2P spots can make more than 400K an hour!

Background

A location that is accessible both to F2P and P2P players alike is the Runite rocks/ores in

the Wilderness. This location is a dangerous because it is deep in the wilderness and has

revenants that come around from time-to-time. However, we will outline some strategies to help

you avoid being slowed down too much by revenants, and to allow you to maximize your

earnings by mining at this location. First up, you should know the location. It’s located just north of

the Lava Maze. The two easiest ways to get there is through either the pillar teleports throughout

the wilderness, or through the use of a Lava Titan. You can always walk there from the Volcano.

Hourly Earnings

Mining Runite Ores at this location, you can earn anywhere between 400k-600k an hour

depending on the amount of people currently online and competing with you for the ores.

Getting There

Follow the white line. There is a bank in the Wilderness Volcano. You can walk from the Volcano

to the Runite Ores. Use the Wilderness Volcano to store your ores and resupply on food when

necessary. If you don’t need to resupply, you can also use the Stealing Creation mini-game area’s

deposit box. This allows you to drop off ores at a closer location.

Food and Equipment

If you are a F2P player, then you should stock up on food to protect yourself in case of

revenant or PK’ers. You can wear green d’hide armor for gear. A good inventory will have as

many swordfish as possible, and a teleport to cast. Same goes for P2P players, except you could

bring a Black Dragonhide and better food.

For your equipment, you should wear Green D’hide Body and Chaps to protect yourself from the

Revenants’ magic spells. If you are a P2P Player, Black Dragonhide works well. If you get

attacked by a Revenant, you only need to worry for a few seconds. There is an easy way to

escape their attacks.

Efficient World Hopping

Hopping from one world to another can be pesky, especially with the 30+ second wait

time. So how do you check more worlds for the presence of Runite Ore without having to wait so

long? You simply use another account! Have another account ready at the Wilderness Runite Ore

location. When you have just logged out of a world with your level 85+ mining account, have

your secondary account log into a new world to check if that world has Runite Ores. This way, you

don’t have to wait 30 seconds to switch to a new world, only to find that it has no Runite Ores.

Have two accounts at the location, and when you log out of a world with one account, check the

next world with your other account.

Special Worlds

A secret that not many people know on Runescape is that there are SPECIAL worlds that

are for different languages. These worlds can be accessed by clicking on a different flag on the

Runescape main page.

Once you click on a flag, of say, France, the language on the main page automatically changes.

Now when you go to play and select a world, you will only have a few worlds to choose from.

These are worlds on the French server, and everything is in French. However, the system of

logging in, clicking on the rock to mine, and other features, still work in the same way. It’s just in a

different language. For instance, at the time this guide was written, the French server has only two

worlds, and they are relatively unpopulated:

It has one Member and one Free world. The two top worlds on the list are just my favorite worlds

from the English servers. These worlds often have very few people, and as a result, will have

Runite ores. So it’s worth checking them out occasionally to get some extra Runite Ores since not

many people know to look there.

Keeping Track

Finally, just keep track of which worlds you mine in – I’d keep a list handy. Ores respawn

every 15-25 minutes, so check worlds if you have mined in them in the previous 15-25 minutes.

Background

This location is only accessible to P2P players. It is completely safe. The bats in here are non-

aggressive and there aren’t any other monsters in this cave, except for a blue dragon that’s locked up in a

cage. You do need to complete Hero’s Quest to access this area.

Hourly Earnings:

Hourly earnings here are usually a steady 400k. Potential to make 700k/hr on non-busy days.

Getting There:

Start off by teleporting to either your house (if you've placed it in Tavelry) or use games necklace

to games room. Go into the hero’s guild using the map shown below.

Once you are inside the Hero’s Guild, there will be a ladder. Climb down the ladder and you will

appear in a dungeon. Head east once you have climbed down into the dungeon, and then the

dungeon will curve south – start heading south. At the southern-most tip of the dungeon is where

the Runite Rocks are located.

Items and Equipment

No food is necessary for this location as it is safe. Any weight-reducing equipment such as

boots of lightness or spottier cape is recommended. Have a pick-axe to mine the ores. Another

important thing to have is a stack of House Teleport Tablets (only takes up one inventory slot) if

your house is in Taverly, or to have a games necklace so you can Teleport to the Games Room

and use the bank there or bank using your Player Owned Home.

Mining is a great skill because it gives you the ability to mine Runite Ores which sell for a

nice amount and is always in high demand due to its use in making armor and weapons. As a

result of the few people being able to mine Runite, it has become a valuable commodity.

Therefore, for those who can mine Runite Ores, there is a potential to make 400k-700k every

hour! This is what makes mining such a great skill. However, Rune-Crafting boasts even more

hourly profits!

Chapter 16: Rune Crafting Blood Runes

Background

A guaranteed way to make a few hundred K per hour is with the Rune Crafting skill. Like

the mining skill’s big money-making method, this method also has some high requirements. This

method basically involves crafting blood runes in the fastest way possible. To do so, you must

have 77 Rune Crafting and 62 Summoning. You will need to have also completed the Legacy of

Seergazer quest. The higher your agility level, the better it is for the method.

Things to Buy

Start off by buying thousands of Pure Essence. Each hour, you will use up around 3000

Pure Essence, so have an idea of how much you can afford and how many hours you wish to do

this method for. Also, you will want to have some low-healing food like Salmon. Make sure you

have a lot of Amulets of Glory (charged). You can simply resell them once you’re done.

You will also need to buy an Abyssal Lurker Pouch. It will allow you to summon an Abyssal

Lurker. They last approximately 40 minutes, so you will need to have 2 for every hour you wish to

craft blood runes. The last things you will want to buy the Rune Crafting pouches (Medium, Large,

Giant).

Equipment

Just wear the amulet of glory and weight-reducing gear.

You should first withdraw a full inventory of nature runes. Click on each of the three pouches to

automatically fill them up. Then withdraw more Pure Essence and fill up your inventory.

Procedure

Start at Edgeville, equipping the items described above. These might seem a strange

assortment, but they have been chosen to provide inexpensive defence against revenant or

abyssal monster attacks while keeping weight down.

At this level you can use all four Runecrafting pouches and an abyssal familiar to carry a

total of 61 essence. This requires you to open the bank and craft essence three times per trip, so

there's a trade-off at work here -- you could instead use only the three biggest pouches to make

50 runes per trip, which saves time but nets slightly fewer runes per hour, and add a foraging

familiar like a magpie to earn more money that way. Based on my tests, it is a little better

money-wise to make as many runes as possible, and of course if you are doing this you

presumably want the Runecrafting XP as well, which tips the balance.

Take out your Runecrafting pouches and an abyssal lurker pouch as well. Summon the

familiar. Take out a load of essence and fill the first three pouches. Take out more essence and fill

the fourth pouch, and also open the familiar and store seven essence in it as well. To save time, be

sure your left-click Summoning interface option is set to "Take BoB".

Run north out of Edgeville bank and cross the Wilderness ditch, then head north/northeast

to the Zamorak mage; right-click him and choose "Teleport". You'll end up somewhere in the outer

ring of the Abyss. Head in the general direction of the blood rift (found at about the "10 o'clock"

position on the inner ring), looking for the "passage", "gap", "eyes" or "rocks" obstacles -- these

you can get through using your pickaxe or without equipment. Once you get to the inner ring

head to the blood rift and pass through. Craft your first set of runes. Empty the first three pouches

and craft again. Then empty the last pouch and your familiar and craft a third time. Now use

your amulet of glory to teleport to Edgeville to bank.

You should not need to use energy potions, as it will restore rapidly at this level due to the

June 2009 energy update. You will need to pause and eat periodically due to damage taken in

the Abyss.

When your pouches degrade, they can be fixed very easily by right-clicking the dark

mage in the center of the Abyss and choosing the appropriate option. You only need to do this

once the giant pouch's capacity drops below 10.

To use the Abyss effectively, you should have lots of amulets of glory. You'll need to take

time to recharge them once in a while at the Heroes' Guild. At very high levels, the most efficient

method is to own lots of amulets (100 or more) and when most are discharged, summon a geyser

titan familiar and use it to recharge all of them in just a few seconds. Be sure to remember to

swap out your amulet when it is out of charges; I sometimes wear a ring of duelling for when I

forget to do so.

To find the hourly profits of this method, we need to look at the hourly expenditures and

hourly gains.

Chapter 17: Killing Fyr Shades

Background

Fiyr remains are used in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. Cremating them using pyre logs

gives gold and keys that can be used to get rewards from the chests in the shade tombs. Different

shades occupy various areas of the tombs, with fiyr shades the highest type (combat level 120).

Since players like the Firemaking XP and Prayer XP from cremating, as well as the rewards, the

remains dropped by high-level shades sell for a good amount on the Grand Exchange. Fighting

them can thus be a good moneymaker, as well as being a nice way of training combat stats.

To access the fiyr shades you will need a silver shade key. To get one, purchase a couple

of fiyr remains yourself and then pyre them until you get a key (the remains are tradeable but

the keys are not.)

These are a bit tough to fight with level 70 skills but not bad at all at level 90+. At level

96 Summoning, the pack yak lets you collect a large number of remains on each trip, improving

your efficiency considerably.

Note that you should always use a Salve amulet(e) for these, as they are undead.

Get to Burgh de Rott by taking the shortcut from Canifis to Mort'ton and then heading

south. At the bank, equip standard melee gear and your Salve amulet(e). Take out a 3-dose

super set, your shade key, a pack yak pouch, one 3-dose energy potion (to restore energy used

up during the prior run back from the tombs) and a load of salmon.

To get to the shades, run north out of Burgh de Rott, continuing to the center of Mort'ton.

Bear northwest and continue up to the tomb doors and enter. Head south, open the steel door,

and continue south as far as you can. Use your potion as needed to restore run energy. Run west

to the silver door, open it, and you'll be in a small room with fiyr shadows (the dark circles)

floating around. They turn into shades if you attack them or if they attack (they are aggressive.)

There are not very many fiyr shades. The best place to fight them is in the middle of their

area, next to the room that has two shades in it. Alternate between killing those and some of the

shades in the hallway.

Take your super set and start fighting, collecting the fiyr remains and eating food as

needed. When you need space, summon the pack yak and transfer remains to it regularly. When

done, run back to the bank, store the remains and repeat the process.

Profits

Since this method uses multiple items, and has you gain items, we need to make a table

comparing the hourly profits and gains.

So given that information, we can find the hourly profit by subtracting the hourly expenditures

from the hourly gains. So the hourly profit 746,202 GP.

This varies depending on your combat levels, but is still very effective with someone that

has attack, strength and defence in the 70’s. They can still make upwards of 600K per hour.

Not only that, but you also gain combat experience from this method. If you have around 95 in

each combat skill, you can make almost 60K combat experience per hour, along with 20K

constitution experience per hour.

Chapter 18: Owning a Top RS Clan

I. My Experience with Clans

I wanted to know what it would like to lead a big clan on Runescape. So I decided one day

that I’d try to make a clan and make it a good one. On that day, the Army of Shad was born. It

requires five people to create a clan. After I paid the other 4 founders for helping me to create

the clan, they completely bailed on me and were nowhere to be seen. So I was the only one left –

just one person, in an empty clan chat that no one knew about.

Darn it! I thought to myself that I just started a clan, and that I had already failed at this

whole clan thing. But then I thought about those noobs who joined my clan, took my money, then

left me to rot. I wasn’t going to let that happen.

So I got to work. I laid out a ton of plans, and did an extreme amount of research. It took me

days worth of research and planning to come up with a plan that finally made sense – I had

literally 10 pages worth of scribbled printing paper on my desk with ideas and plans on how to

make a top Runescape clan.

Then what did I do? I got to work!

I implemented my plans left and right. Some ideas worked, other ideas failed. But I had a

lot of plans and ideas, so I kept going at it. Along the way, I discovered extremely powerful

ideas that MOST clan leaders would miss. I took those ideas and just kept working.

After Army of Shad had just one month of existence, it dominated all the other clans. The Army of

Shad achieved something that no other clan did before. It became the #1 clan on Runescape in

just one month.

Runescape clan hiscores. But soon after, it received another #1 ranking. Now the Army of Shad

has TWO positions on the clan hiscores list, and both are NUMBER ONE positions!

However, the Army of Shad was able to reach TWO of these hiscores with the #1 position, but

most surprisingly, it was able to do so in just ONE MONTH!

planning and bursts of hatching good ideas. Luckily for you, I want some clan competition. So this

II. Pre-Founding

Before starting a clan, there are a few things you need to know first. Technically, anyone

can start a clan. However, if you want get respect and build a following of people that look up to

you, then you need to become a more respectable player.

Money Talks

It helps to have money before starting up a clan. Having money allows you to throw

parties, have fun events where you can give prizes, increase attendance to events, and generally

keep the clan happy. Money also allows you to buy gear that makes your character look more

respectable in the game.

Clearly, the 2nd set of pictures demands more respect because the player is in more

respectable gear. The more expensive the gear, usually the more respect it gains you. Luckily for

you, this clan guide is a part of billionaires guide that teaches you how to make tons of money.

Nice Player Owned House

Another thing you should have before starting a clan is a nice player owned house. This gives a

fun environment for your clan to hang out at while waiting for your tier 7 citadel. Also, a player

owned house has a lot of fun things that citadels don’t have: several combat rooms, games room,

the ability to cast high alchemy, dungeon, etc.

How the entrance looks is extremely important, because people tend on judge on first impressions.

Add things like portals that your clan members can use. They are very useful for getting to events.

Further north is a courtyard area for people to gather at.

Obviously your Played Owned House doesn’t have to have all the things that you see in

the above pictures, but I’ve had many great events at my POH that simply can’t be had at the

clan citadel. This is mainly due to the lack of fun things to do in the citadel. Therefore, party

events mainly happen at my POH. Partying in the player owned house will be discussed in section

VI (clan activities).

Having a POH and POH parties/events allows you to build stronger bonds with your clan

members, which in turn make them work harder to preserve the fun that the clan provides them

with. This harder work can translate into recruiting more people, doing more rated clan wars, etc.

Speaking of rated clan wars, try to make your house at Rimmington because it has a close

proximity to the clan camp.

Again, it will be expensive to get a nice looking house (usually costs 20M GP for the

minimum stuff of a nice looking house). However, it’s well worth it to invest in a nice player owned

house before you start up the clan.

Respectable Name

Having a good display name is the last thing, and probably the easiest of the three things to

have before you start a clan.

Your display name reflects your personality, professionalism, and self-image. If you have

a name like billybutts12693, then people are less likely to respect you due to the ridiculous

sounding nature of the name. They are going to associate the name with the direction, leadership,

and strength of the clan.

A name that demands respect is a two party name. The first part should have a title like

“Lord”, “Sir”, or “King”. Don’t buy these prefixes from the loyalty program, because no one will

call you by that prefix if you do. You have to make it a part of your actual display name. For the

second part of your name, make it something short since you are spending 3-5 letters on the

prefix. An abbreviated version of your first name (like Nick for Nicholas) usually does the trick.

My display name is King Shaddy. This works well because people usually refer to me as

“King” in the clan chat. I never asked them to, they just do it out of respect. This helps to build

loyalty and respect within the other clan members who see me being referred to as “King”, and

thus ensures that the clan runs more smoothly since members develop more respect for the

authority.

Remember, you don’t want your clan members greeting you with “Hey Butts, when’s the next

full moon?”. So change your name from billybutts12693 to something more respectable before

starting your clan.

III. Starting a Clan

Now that you have those things taken care of, it’s time to start a clan. You can go to the

clan camp south of Falador and ask this gentleman for a clan charter.

Once you have a charter, you need to have five people sign it. I would recommend going

to an F2P world and paying 4 noobs to sign your charter. They will happily do it for 100k.

Usually they will leave the clan afterwards.

A normal person would think this is a bad thing, but you actually want the other founders

to leave. In fact, kick the other 4 people if they don’t leave. That way, you don’t have people

feeling like they’re entitled to get a high rank or people saying things like “Ohhh, but I was an

one of the original five founders, so I deserve to be admin pl0x”. NO! Make sure you are the only

founder in the clan.

This is also the time that you’ll be asked to decide on a name for the clan. You can name

your clan as you wish. Just try to capitalize the first letters of each word – it looks much nicer once

you’re on the hiscores list.

As you can see, the name for the #2 ranked clan doesn’t look very professional since

nothing is capitalized:

So just like your display name, you have to also be careful with your clan name.

IV. Setting up Records

It’s extremely important to set up records before you start your clan. By records, I mean

files on your computer that you can use to track things like clan recruiting, clan wars records, and

clan skilling. Many people think keeping records isn’t important, but just imagine this scenario:

You reward clan members for recruiting new people to the clan. A clan member claims that he

recruited 10 people the night before, but there are no records or anything to keep track of that.

How are you going to reward people and grow your clan without knowing if people are being

honest about their progress in the clan? This is exactly why you need to set up records.

A very simple thing can save you tons of hassle. Here’s how you can set up clan records in a

painfree way. Go to your computer’s desktop. Right click and press “New Folder”.

Then you’re going to name that folder “clan records”

Open up the folder, and create three new files. These can be word documents or notepad

documents. Just make sure it’s something you can type multiple lines in. Open three files, with the

following titles “Clan Recruiting”, “Rated Clan Wars Participation”, and “Clan Skilling Progress”.

Each of these three folders will allow you to know who to rank or give rewards to. Here’s how

each of my documents look like.

Clan Recruiting Document

As you can see, I have the name of the recruiter, followed by brackets. Then I have names

of the five recruits that they recruited into the clan. I normally rank and reward each clan member

every time they get 5 recruits (more explained in section V). This also ensures that a newer clan

member can’t pretend that they recruited 5 members by saying members of people that were in

the clan before him/her.

Rated Clan Wars Participation

This document shows the rated clan wars participation of anyone who is of sergent rank or

higher. If I have any rank below sergeant rank, I rank up them up right away for every rated clan

wars event they come to.

If the clan member is already a sergeant rank, then I require them to attend three rated clan

wars events before they become a lieutenant. I put a tally next to their name for each event they

participated in.

For current lieutenants who are looking to become captains, I require them to participate 5

additional rated clan war events. Then if they are currently a captain, I require them to

participate in 10 additional rated clan war events to become a general.

Clan Skilling Progress

You can also reward your clan for the amount of experience they gained for the clan. There is a

clan hiscores list based on each clan’s total experience. For this reason, you want to emphasize

skilling in your clan, and reward those who skill.

To check experience of your clan mates, you can go to your clan’s homepage from the

Runescape website. Then go to the clanmates section of your clan homepage. Once you’re there,

choose to arranged the clan members by “Total XP”. You’ll get a list below, but for your clan.

Here you can see the amount of experience each member since joining the clan.

Everyone’s experience is added up to form the clan’s “Total XP”, which is one of the categories

for the clan hiscores.

So here’s how I manage and reward the clan members that have earned XP for the clan. I

made a file called “Clan Skilling Progress”. You can see a screenshot of the file from an earlier

time:

I put their name and a tally next to their name for each 10 million exp. Each tally also means that

I have already rewarded them and ranked them up for getting 10 million exp. This record

keeping ensures that no one asks for rewards twice after they reach 20 million exp. You will know

whether or not you have already rewarded them for reaching 10 million exp.

V. Growing the Clan (Ultimate Recruiting Process)

Growing your clan can be pretty tedious, but it’s extremely important towards your clan’s

success. One of the first things a clan should aim for is the 500 member count. The more members

in a clan, the faster they are able to achieve things – essentially, strength in numbers.

You can try to recruit clan members on your own, but that takes way too long. For this reason, you

want to give every rank in your clan the ability to recruit. Even a recruit rank should be able to

recruit. This means you should change your clan settings to look like this:

Once you have that setting done, it’s time to start announcing to your clan members that

they can get rewarded for recruiting. I normally give any Lieutenants or lower a rank up for

every 5 recruits they get. I also give them a cash reward.

As they get higher rank, I require them to get more recruits to proceed on to the next rank.

For example, my captains need to recruit 20 additional people to the 25 or so that they have

already recruited to get to the captain rank. This keeps people recruiting in order to achieve

higher and higher ranks.

Once someone has reached 5 recruits, ask them to announce it in the clan chat. Meet up

with them in game and get the names of the five people they recruited. Be warned though, a lot

of times people will create level 3 accounts and recruit them into the clan. Then the level 3

accounts are left inactive, and takes up space that could have been used by a level 100+ active

member.

So make sure you check the hiscores list and adventurer’s logs of each recruit name that

your clan members give you. This ensures that your clan’s total level average is higher, that you

have more active members in the clan, and that you have more capable people in the limited 500

spots available in your clan.

As always, remember to record each name that your clan member gives you in your Clan

Recruiting document:

This prevents people from claiming they recruited someone that might have been recruited by

another clan member.

A great way to reward and encourage clan recruiting is to announce someone’s recruiting

achievements in your clan chat. For example, if someone just reached their first five recruits,

announce it in the clan chat with something like:

“=== Congratulations to Unjust Diety ===”

“=== He has just reached his first 5 recruits ===”

“=== He has been ranked up and awarded 100k ===”

“=== Everyone please congratulate Unjust Diety for his great work! ===”

These little things will ensure that your clan grows to a notable size in a relatively short amount of

time.

VI. Clan Activities

Clan activities are the heart and soul of your clan. People join clans to be part of an

active and engaging community. Knowing what activities to do and how to run activities is just as

crucial as growing your clan.

For example, if you have a clan of high level players with tons of money, they are more

likely to enjoy hunting boss monsters. If you have a clan of lower levels, they are more likely NOT

to enjoy being burnt alive by boss monsters. Maybe lower levels will enjoy a nice game of hide-

and-seek.

Here are some activities that you can do for your clan, and tips on how to run each activity:

Hide-and-seek

You might think hide-and-seek is a game for grade-school kids, but you’d be surprised

how many people enjoy playing this game on Runescape. People especially enjoy it if you offer

a reward for the people to first find (seek) you.

So the premise of this activity is that you hide somewhere in Runescape. You give clues in

your clan chat every 2 minutes or so about where you are located. For example, if I’m hiding at

the Jail House in Port Sarim, I’ll give clues like “Oh wow, these some strong metal bars” or “I can

see lots of ships from here!”.

After someone has found you, give them a reward (could be money, items, or a rank up).

It’s also good to offer a reward for the person that is 2nd place in finding you. If you do 3-5

rounds of this, it could last from 30 minutes to an hour, and everyone has fun.

Castle Wars

Castle Wars is a fun mini-game that any level can enjoy. It’s a capture-the-flag based

game, and it’s especially fun for clans because they get to play out mock-battle scenarios that

incorporate multiple objectives.

This is a great team-building game because members of every combat level enjoy it. The

higher level players enjoy it because they can show off their battle skills. The intelligent players

enjoy it because the game involves a lot of strategy, which they can possibly have a spot in

coordinating. Even the lower level players enjoy it because they have roles such as setting up

barricades to protect the flag, healing their team mates with bandages, or making a mad dash

for the enemy’s flag!

If you want to increase attendance, you can do 2-3 rounds, and offer a reward for the

people that get the most kills and most flag captures on the winning team of each round. When

people know they can have fun AND get a reward just for having fun, there’s usually little reason

for them not to attend.

Hunting Boss Monsters (PvM)

Hunting for boss monsters is a fun activity because boss monsters tend to have some really

sweet drops. For example, the boss monster Nex has item drops worth hundreds of millions of GP!

So when you have a lot of people with you, it becomes easier to kill these boss monsters like Nex,

Corporeal Beast, Kalphite Queen, and the King Black Dragon.

This activity also allows players to show off their power in battle, and it’ also a great

social experience to swarm around a monster with swords and other weapons jabbing from every

direction. Then while waiting for the boss monster to respawn, people can talk about their favorite

type of fluffy slippers or what not. Overall, it’s a very rewarding and social experience.

House Parties

As mentioned earlier in this guide it’s important to have a good player owned house. A lot

of fun activities can take place in the player owned house that just simply aren’t possible in the

clan citadel.

For example, our clan has a tradition of doing boxing battle royales. Everyone enters the

boxing ring at once with only boxing gloves. The last person standing in the ring is awarded with

1 Million GP. It’s great fun, and everyone enjoys it. That’s one thing you can try if you have the

combat rings set up at your house:

Another fun activity for house parties is going through your player owned dungeon. If you

make your POH’s dungeon in a linear path, then you can set up a treasure room at the end. This

makes it so that people have to go through a ton of dungeon rooms before finally reaching the

treasure room. After doing the love story quest, you have access to “Pit Dungeons”, which are

essentially dungeon rooms that players can’t pass unless they kill the monster inside the Pit

Dungeon Room. So I set up Pit Iron Dragons in these rooms, and these dragons can hit up to 550!

In order to reach the treasure room (which I usually stock with about 5-10 Million GP), the

players must get through the Pit Dungeons with dragons and other monsters. It’s extremely fun to

see everyone trying to work together, but at the same time, trying to get to the treasure room

before anyone else.

You can also do the activities that are available in the games room. Those are pretty self-

explanatory, and they have a reward chest that you can load up with rewards.

99 Parties

Celebrating when a clan member reaches level 99 in a skill is also very important. It shows

the clan members that you care, and that they have yet another reason to stay in the clan.

It’s best if the person can reach 99 in the skill while the whole clan is there to see it. This is best

done at the player owned house, because you can reach level 99 in almost any skill at the player

owned house. The house has a cooking range, gilded prayer alters, combat rings, etc.

Once the clan member reaches 99 in the skill, have everyone spam congratulations in public chat.

It makes for a really exciting and memorable experience for the person who has just reached the

99 skill. Then you can use the portals in your house to go celebrate the player getting a skill cape.

Drop Parties

Drop parties are great fun because everyone likes getting free stuff. They shouldn’t be

done too often; otherwise you’ll get people who are in the clan just to get free stuff. The citadel

courtyard area is a great place to do drop parties. The citadel party room is also a fun

environment for drop parties.

You can do drop parties to celebrate achievements like reaching milestones in member

count, getting in to the top 20, 10 or 5 in any clan hiscores list, etc. As long as you have clan

activities once in a while, your clan members will be reminded of why they joined the clan, and

why they should continue to stay in the clan.

VII. Becoming a Famous Clan

Becoming a famous clan isn’t easy. It requires a lot of determination and motivation. You

can become famous in one of the two ways:

Reach the Top 5 Clan Hiscores List

If you reach a top 5 rank in any one of the six clan hiscores, then your clan receives a fair amount

of recognition and fame from the people of Runescape. When clan citadels first came out, my

clan had a TON of random guests coming to our clan citadel. When we asked the guests how

they found out about us, most of them replied that they saw our #1 clan ranking on the clan

hiscores list.

Establish a Presence in World 1 or World 2

World 1 and World 2 is visited by a lot of people at different times in the day. Almost

every player can say that they have either visited world 1 or world 2 at least once since they

started Runescape. These two worlds are communication hubs where some of the wealthiest and

most influential players frequently visit.

As a result, if you can establish a clan presence here, you can be sure that people are

going to talk about your clan. For example, the clan Dragon Dyce is famous because everyone

knows they are in World 2 Grand Exchange all day, every day. They have at least 20 people

from their clan situated there. As a result, they are known by many in Runescape, even though

they haven’t reached a top position the clan hiscores.

Have Famous Players in your Clan

Everyone is interested to know about famous players. They want to know who the famous

players hang out with, what they like to do on Runesacpe for fun, and even what clan they are a

part of. So if you have famous people in your clan, you can bet that their fame is going to rub off

on your clan.

Famous people on Runescape are usually the top players on the skills hiscores list, or the top

players of different minigames. Even more famous Runescape players are the ones that are

famous YouTube stars. NightmareRH and Excl are some that come to mind. Excl has been featured

on articles on Runescape main page several times, and is even the official tip-giver for making

Rune Fest videos.

VIII. Profiting/Advantages

So why go through all the trouble of making a huge clan? What’s the point of 500 members, the

recognition, and the clan fame? Well, there are a lot of advantages.

Financial Advantage

If your clan becomes truly famous, people will pay a lot of money to become a high

ranked member in your clan. For instance, someone paid me 300 MILLION GP to become a top

ranked member of my clan.

The people paying hundreds of millions of GP for a high rank in my clan have a good

reason. If they can say they are a top ranked member of the number one clan in Runescape, they

get a lot of respect and backup on Runescape. An example is if they were hosting some flower

games. They will be more legit if they can claim that they are the deputy owner of a #1 ranked

clan in all of Runescape. So for reasons like this, the owner profits from people buying ranks.

Activity Support

Say you want to go hunt the King Black Dragon, but you need people to go with you.

Well, when you're the leader of a clan of 500, you can make a King Black Dragon hunting event

and have more support than you'll ever need!

Huge Citadel

Jagex made it so you can only have an awesome Tier 7 Clan Citadel if you have 50 or

more people in your clan. If you have 500 like mine, it becomes extremely to gather resources for

the week. Currently Jagex lets you proceed at the rate of one tier every two weeks, and we're

already at tier 2 (citadels have been out for only 2 weeks when this post was made). So if you

have a large clan, you can enjoy an epic clan citadel like the one you see on the citadel teasers

at the clan camp portal.

Spreading Your Thoughts and Services

Another advantage is that you can promote your ideas, services or affiliated organizations on a

platform that many people will notice it from. Not only do your clan members notice things you

have to say or people you want to promote, but you can place that stuff on your clan homepage

and have ALL OF RUNESCAPE see what you have to say. Here's what I did with my clan's fame:

Chapter 19: Ultimate Dueling Guide

Have you ever wondered how some people make hundreds of millions of GP every day

just by dueling other players in the Duel Arena? This can be answered by entering the world of

high-stakes dueling – a world in which players stake (or bet) high amounts of money on duels they

have with each other. There are strategies to winning duels, and a good strategy could mean the

difference between winning and losing a duel with a 100M stake. This method improves the

potential for valuable items on your loot drops. This is a great technique to know if you wish to

experience the rush of killing players while making millions. But I must warn you… Don't hand

these methods out to everyone - if the method gets out there, everyone will know it and no one will

accept the rules that you set for the duel.

The first method was used against me by a level 70 account. This is the method that can

make you billions of GP PER WEEK, and only available to those who have one of the first 100

copies. The method of staking using an item called Bolas, which barely anyone knows about. It can

have devastatingly strong results in the staking world.

That guide is followed by general tips for staking that very few people know. Things

being covered are ways to “hide” your stats from the hiscores list.

The final dueling guide is a method I used to make 500M GP in a few days. There’s still

not a lot of people that know about this method, but it does have several high requirements.

Make sure to read it all and choose which tips and strategies that work best for you.

Bola Staking Guide

Scenario

I was dueling with my level 109 staking account and was doing some pretty good staking for

the day. I came across a level 70 who wanted to stake Santa Hats. He wanted to have a duel

that permitted range and melee. I looked him up and saw he had 98 range and no other stat

over 90 (besides his constitution stat). I wasn’t too worried because I had 99 strength, a much

higher defence level, and a Vesta’s Longsword – what more, he had special attack on, meaning I

could use the deadly and extremely power special attack of my Vesta’s Longsword.

Once the fight started, I found out how very wrong I was. The fight had just begun when I got

a message saying that I couldn’t move. Shit. This was impossible because I turned movement

turned on, and I made sure that magic was turned off. How the hell did he freeze me?

Then he pulled out his extremely powerful ranging weapons and killed me in a few hits, while

I stood there helpless to do anything. The next thing I knew, this guy who was only level 70 had

just won my santa hat.

I messaged him to ask how he did that, but he only said maybe it was an error in the game.

He never admitted to how he did it. So I paid him more money and found out his secret. He used

an item that wasn’t even on Runescape Wikia at the time! No one knew the effect of the item, and

still very few people know what the item is. He used something called “Bolas”.

Introduction to Bolas

Bolas is an item that was released with the Jadinko Lair update. Everyone was so focused on the

whip vine that came out with the release of the Jadinko Lair, that very few people knew about

the other “un-announced” item that was released along with the Whip Vine.

The item that was released is called “Bolas”.

So very few people even know what it does, that they completely ignored the item. As

you can see from the Grand Exchange screenshot above, the price of the Bolas have been

dropping because people don’t even know that Bolas can be used to freeze opponents! That’s

because this effect isn’t mentioned anywhere!! Just wait for a few weeks until a staker or PVP’er

comes out with videos of him using Bolas, then watch the prices of Bolas skyrocket.

I even did a Google search on the item, and no article came up explaining what Bolas do.

There isn’t even a Runescape Wikia article on it yet! (Search results are from early August)

So what can Bolas do? Bolas has the special effect of FREEZING your opponent wherever they

are standing for a full fifteen seconds! And you can use them multiple times, because they stack in

your inventory. The only requirement to use Bolas is a ranging level of 76.

That’s like using an ice barrage spell, but without even needing the ancients spell book or

magic levels!

I later caught up with the level 70 that used this method on me to win my Santa Hat. He

showed me the hundreds of millions of GP that he made that day. I was even more surprised

when he showed me his bank work BILLIONS of GP. Keep in mind that his account’s combat level

is only in the 70’s. That’s when I realized that his staking account build is one that is worth billions

of GP.

So I’m going to go through step-by-step on how to achieve this Bola ranger build and how to

set up duels where you can profit hundreds of millions of GP each day!

Account Build

The only thing you need for this sort of staking build is a high range and HP level. You

need high ranged obviously to hit accurately with your ranged weapons (described in the next

section) and to have your bolas effectively stop your opponent. You need a high HP level to make

sure that you can take the hits that your opponent delivers should he reach you before you can

use another bola to freeze him.

Since you aren’t staking with any armor, you don’t need a high defence level. The same

applies for prayer and summoning – no serious staker will allow prayer or summoning to be on

during a duel. So training these is a waste of time, money, and makes your combat level higher

for no reason. Remember, you want to keep your combat level as low as possible, that way

higher levels will think they can beat you more easily.

Here’s an ideal build for a Bola staking account:

As you can see, your combat level will be only level 73 if you get level 99 ranged and level 99

constitution (HP). In the staking world, anyone below level 75 combat isn’t taken as a serious

threat. So try to keep your combat level low, and you’ll see that more people are willing to duel

you.

You can also use the stat disguising methods discussed in the general staking tips that follows this

guide for this bola method.

Weapons and Gear

There’s really no gear for you to use besides the Bolas and weapons. You are going to be

fighting with no armor, no necklace, etc. The only equipment that you should permit in the duel is

your right hand (main-weapon) slot. All other equipments slots should be turned off for the duel in

order to get the best results.

You should get about 100 Bolas for binding. For attacking, you should get either

Morrigan’s Javelin (P++) or Morrigan’s Throwing Axe. Since they are considered ammo, try to get

20 of each at the very minimum. Both are pretty expensive, so make sure you’re doing 10M+

stakes in your duels.

The javelin is stronger than the throwing axe, but the throwing axe is slightly faster than the

javelin. So test out the two, maybe alternate weapon usage from duel to duel, and find the one

that works better for you. And remember that you can wield these items at 78 ranged, but you

should still get close to 99 ranged before going into stakes. Why limit your chances of winning?

Finding the Right Opponent

Now that you have your account ready and weapons ready, it’s time to find some people

to win stakes from. You want to look for people that have ranged levels lower than that of your

own. Most likely they will use melee anyways, so there’s no need to worry.

You can choose to fight with special on or off. If you allow meleers to have special attack

on, they are more likely to fight because melee weapons like Vesta’s Longsword and Dragon

Claws tend to have a good special attack. However, they won’t be able to use these special

attacks because they can’t reach you. Furthermore, since it’s a one-handed weapon duel, they

won’t be able to use heavy-damage special attack weapons like dragon claws or godswords.

If you do decide to allow special attacks, another thing to watch for is whether they have

higher than level 70 construction, 70 crafting, 70 smithing and 55 summoning. These stats indicate

that they may have done the Void Stares Back quest, which allows them to use the Korasi blade.

This weapon’s special attack hits the opponent for a lot of damage, and can be used from a

distance. So make sure to look up your opponent before getting into duels with them.

If you opponent has 78 attack or higher, also watch out for that. Because that means they

can use Vesta’s Longsword, and the special attack is very accurate and delivers lots of damage.

You can still win if they use Vesta’s Longsword. You just have to know when to throw Bolas at your

opponent to keep your opponent from reaching you often.

Once you find an opponent, try to stake AT LEAST 10 Million GP (100M+ stakes

recommended), and set the duel rules according to the rules stated on the next page.

Setting the Right Rules

As mentioned earlier, the only thing you want for equipment is the right hand slot (main

weapon slot). Everything else should be turned off.

Make sure ranged and melee is turned on. No magic, otherwise your opponent can reach

you with pretty powerful magic spells – there’s even a magic spell that reduces your ranging

speed by 50%, so always make sure that magic is turned off. There should be no drinks, food or

prayer. Try to get obstacles on, as it will make it much easier for you. However, not a lot of

meleers like having obstacles, so most likely you will be dueling without obstacles.

No movement must be unchecked! This is the most important rule, because it will allow you

to move away from your meleeing opponent after you freeze him with bolas. Then you can range

During the Match

As soon as the match starts, you need to be ready to throw a bola at your opponent. At the

beginning of the match, equip bolas and stay away from your opponent. Throw a bola at your

opponent as soon as you can. Switch to your ranging weapon and begin ranging. After 12

seconds of ranging, switch back to a bola and get ready to use it to freeze your opponent again.

Then keep repeating this process until your opponent is defeated.

Make sure not to go more than 11 spaces away from your opponent. Otherwise they are

automatically freed from their Bola freeze. If you just keep these rules in mind, you will have a

smooth duel.

After the Match

After the match, your opponent might accuse you of cheating because they don’t know what bolas

are. Don’t tell your opponent about the bolas! Pretend like they accidentally accepted the duel

while the “No Magic” rule was off, and you can pretend that you froze them with a magic spell.

Then ask for a rematch and tell your opponent that you will turn magic off this time.

However, when he re-duels you, he will just fall for the same trick again. This is a great

way to make double the money on one person. Sometimes if they lost 100m in the first duel, they

will want to duel for 200m to make that 100m profit that they missed out on. So play it smart,

and you can potentially make hundreds of millions of GP – sometimes even from one opponent.

General Tips and Tricks

Hiding Your Stats from the Hiscores List One of the first things players will do when trying to do is to look you up on the hiscores

list. Then they will know your stats and get an idea of whether or not they will be able to win

against you in a duel. There is a way to “hide” your stats from the hiscores list and replace it with

stats from another account. You need to have your main account, and train another account to be

similar combat levels, but something that has high prayer and bad combat stats.

You want to name both accounts so that they look like they are almost the same. To do

this, we use how Jagex displays a lower-case “L” and an uppercase “i”. On Runescape, they look

the same. You want to make your staker account called something like “KLNG JEFF” except the

“L” should be a lowercase “L”. Then make another account called “KING JEFF” where you actually

use the upper-case letter “I” in the name. Here’s an example of two accounts:

As you can see, the names look identical, but the stats are vastly different. So if someone looks up

“Billybob4657” instead of “BLllybob4657”, then they will be looking up the scores for the nooby

account. After seeing such nooby stats, they will be sure that they can beat you. However, they

have no idea that you are hiding the fact that your account is a trained killer. So by using this

method, you are essentially “hiding” your true stats from the hiscores list.

A lot of people suggest using confusing names like “LILILLLIIII” or “XKKXKXKXKXX” or

“O0OO00oOOO”. While some may use this idea, it’s a very risky idea. Having a name like that

makes people very suspicious, and they are more likely to make sure that they take their time to

enter every single letter correctly into the hiscores to check for you.

Dungeoneering

Training the dungeoneering skill is a duelist’s best friend. It will give you access to some of the best

weapons, shields and necklaces available in the game. Having a better weapon has a huge weight in

determining which person will win the duel.

For this reason, it’s a good idea to focus a good deal of your time on training your

dungeoneering. Once you figure out a strategy to use for dueling (which we’ll discuss), you can decide

what things you should buy with your dungeoneering tokens.

Prayer and Summoning

The best stakers seem to have a low prayer level and a low summoning level. Prayer and

summoning increases your combat level, but most people do not duel if prayer or summoning is

used in dueling. So it becomes useless to get up your prayer and summoning level on your staking

account. Not only has that, but having high prayer and summoning levels can also hurt you. If

players see that your combat level is higher than theirs, then they won’t duel you. However, if you

didn’t have prayer or summoning levels, then you would have had a lower combat level, and thus

more people would duel you thinking you were weaker (since you have a lower combat level).

Quest Weapons: Korasi and Improved Excalibur

The korasi sword is a quest weapon. It’s special attack is extremely accurate and delivers

heavy magic attack. If you are fighting a mage who has used staff of light to make your melee

hits weaker, then busting out a korasi sword and using its special attack can really do some

damage to your opponent.

You can get an improved Excalibur sword by doing the Seers Elite Tasks. The improved

Excalibur allows you to heal 400 lifepoints over the course of 10 seconds. Since most duels are

fought with the “no food” option, having an improved Excalibur can lead to your victory.

Attack First in Duels

Do you start duels and sometimes see that the person you are dueling gets a hit on you

before your player even starts moving? This can be explained by PID. When you log into

Runescape, you will get a PID# (Player Identification Number). As an example, let’s say you log

in as PID 45. Then you will have PID 45 until you log out and no one else can login with the same

PID as you. Then we have one very lucky man who logged in the game with PID 1. Both of these

guys meet in the duel arena - one with a 45 PID and one with a 1 PID. The one with the PID 1 will

always get the first hit in the duel arena. Player ID determines first hit. You want to get as close to

PID 1 as you can, that way you get the first hit in duels. Getting the first hit determines the winner

in very close duels where both players have very low HP near the end of the duel. To get your

PID close to number 1, get a friend and log until you get first hit on them. With the first hit you

are already 1 step closer to winning the duel. Then they should keep logging in and out until they

get the first hit on you. And the both of you should keep alternating this until you feel like you will

get the first hit in no matter what duel you enter.

Using Rings of Recoil

Rings of recoil are vastly underestimated in the duel arena. I always keep at least 200 of

these rings in my bank. They are very important in duels because they deal 10% of the damage

your opponent does back at them. So imagine that you had 900 lifepoints, and you use the ring

of recoil. In trying to kill you, your opponent would receive nearly 90 lifepoints of damage. In

close duels, 90 lifepoints of damage makes a big difference. Sometimes people win duels

because they have 30 more lifepoints than the opponent at the end of the duel. If the opponent

used a ring of recoil, then the other player would have lost instead.

Win in Mage Boxing

Required Stats

Mage boxing is a type of duel where both players aren’t allowed to use anything besides

magic spells. Usually they are fought with all equipment off, and only magic as the attack type.

There is a way to get good advantages in mage boxing. You ideally want 99 magic and 99

defense to duel in this mode. Having 99 magic will make you hit more accurately, and having 99

defense will allow you to take less damage from your opponent’s spells. This is where concealing

your stats proves to be very useful. If you can hide your stats on the hiscores (discussed above)

and replace it with stats from an account with lower magic, then people with level 94 magic who

are mage boxing will be more willing to duel you. You should also have completed desert

treasure to have access to the ancients spell book.

Casting Spells First

You should also use the PID trick to make sure that you get the first hit. That means you

essentially get an extra spell cast in the duel than the other person, and that makes a big

difference when just one magic spell has the potential to hit up to 350 lifepoints in these duels.

And almost always cast Blood Barrage. It allows you to heal yourself during the duel.

Shad’s Secret Staking Method

This is a method of staking that I’ve used to make up to 500M in a few days. Once you

learn it, you must remember to only use it in bigger staked duels. The more you use this method,

the more people will learn about it, and the less effective this method becomes. Let’s proceed with

this spectacular method.

Background

You will essentially be using magic to take down melee and ranger opponents. You will be

a much lower combat level than the regular big-stakers at the duel arena, so they will think that

they can easily beat you no matter what rules you do. However, there are some rules that will

almost guarantee you a victory despite you low combat level. The requirements aren’t easy, but

they pay off in the end.

Level 20 or 78+ defense

Finding a Duel

You want to start off at the duel arena typing “Staking 5-10M, my rules, armor on”. Have

nooby looking armor and weapons equipped. Make sure it’s not too nooby, but decently nooby. I

usually go with a dragon med helm, dragon plate skirt, rune platebody, whip, tzhaar shield,

obsidian cape, dragon boots, and a glory amulet. This however, is nothing compared to the Zuriel

or Virtus armor that is hidden in the inventory. Make sure you have your blood barrage spell set

to “autocast”. Now just wait around until someone challenges you to do a duel.

Duel Rules

You want to have certain rules that will ensure that you win. Even if you are a level 110,

these rules will help you win against even a level 130. When you get challenged to the duel, set

the following rules: Allow every piece of equipment to be on. Do not allow ranged attacks, but

allow melee and magic attacks. Set it so that there is no drinks, food, prayer or movement. Keep

special attacks on. Don’t touch anything else. Make sure you don’t let them change the rules.

Changing Gear before Duel

This is important if you are planning on using Virtus armor for your duel. Virtus armor gives

you a +400 lifepoint boost. So if you normally have 800 lifepoints, you will start off with 1200

life points when the duel begins! In order to get this boost, you need to be wearing your Virtus

armor before the duel starts. This can be a problem, because wearing Virtus armor will

automatically tell your opponent that you are a high level mager.

So to get across this dilemma, have your opponent challenge you to staked duel. Then

stand on your opponent and quickly wear your Virtus Mask, Robe Top and Robe Legs. Your

opponent will be unable to see you because he sees himself on the spot he’s standing, while

you’re hiding under him. Then accept the challenge for the duel. As soon as you do that, your

opponent will see the stake window and will be unable to see you until the duel starts.

Strategy

Once the duel begins, you want to immediately switch to your staff of light. Use the

special attack as quick as possible – the special attack makes it so that melee attacks barely hurt

you. Now equip your magic gear which was listed above. Then attack your opponent and watch

the blood barrage destroy him. Again, your opponent’s melee attacks will only tickle you,

because the staff of light makes their attacks very weak.

Notes

Make sure that you are firm on the duel rules that were stated earlier. If your opponent

changes even one dueling rule, then they may gain a big advantage in the stake. If your

opponent turns on ranging, he might have 99 range, have really good ranging armor (which is

really good at protecting from magic attacks), and very strong ranging weapons (which hit a lot

on the robes that mages wear). So DO NOT let your opponent change any of the rules.

You might also happen to come across someone using the same strategy. Usually though,

most people wouldn’t think of going as far as getting the dungeoneering gear or getting Zuriel’s

robes. Most people would just get a regular shield and wear barrows armor. This is where you

have the advantage. Since you have much better gear, even IF they decided to mage you back,

you would still have a big advantage.

Once you make a few hundred million GP from this, you could even consider getting your

defense level to 80 and upgrading to Virtus armor like I did

Chapter 20: Luring Guide

Now that Runescape has re-introduced free trade and dropping items so that other

players can see/pick them, it’s possible to lure people for their valuable items. Jagex is going to

make an update soon that makes it impossible to do most wilderness lures for getting holiday

items.

Therefore we are going to go over a luring method that will work to get your victim skulled so

you can lure them with ease and get their rare items with ease EVEN THOUGH Jagex is planning

to make this update. You will be able to do this method after the update because this method

teaches you how to skull your victim. The second luring method covered in this chapter will teach

you how the famous lurer Pjerry72 (youtube username) was able to lure MULTIPLE partyhats using

the purple portal lure. It requires taking your victim into the portal about 3-4 times until finally

killing them. It’s really well thought out, and guaranteed to make you billions!

Chinchompa Luring

Background

This method involves using the chinchompa to skull a person in the wilderness. They will

think that they keep 3 items on death, so they go into the wilderness with three good items.

However, this method will teach you how to use chinchompas to get them skulled so that they drop

even the three items they thought they would protect upon their deaths.

You need to have two people to perform this lure (as with all lures, except for Shad’s

secret luring method). So here we go.

Preparing Yourself

Start off by buying some Chinchompas on the Grand Exchange. One hundred chinchompas

will be enough.

You also want both you and your friend to have some magic gear (especially get runes you can

use to bind/snare/entangle or Ice Barrage an opponent), and a hard-hitting special weapon.

Keep that in your bank for now.

Try to look professional. Borrow a party hat from people lending them, and wear any skill capes.

Scouting a Victim

Head over to the Grand Exchange to find someone to lure. Since the Grand Exchange is

filled with people trying to make money, if you tell them that you have a way to make money,

they are most likely to listen to you and follow you anywhere.

When looking for a victim, look for someone who has a nooby name or has a nooby item

like dragon med helm while wearing bandos stuff. Here’s an example of a good victim in the

image below. Notice he has a nooby name and can’t afford bandos tassets, but bought a bandos

chestplate. This means he would welcome the idea of making more money if you asked him.

You also need to make sure he has at least 45 range (you can look up the player on the high

scores list) in order to wield the chinchompas that you will give him.

Luring Strategy

Now that you’ve found the person you want to kill, you have to convince them to enter the

wilderness with you. This is where it gets creative. I found the best method is to add the player

first. If you add the player and see that their Private Chat is set to “on”, then they are more

willing to meet and interact with other people. So add him and ask them if they want to make a

good amount of money.

If they reply saying yes they want to make money, then I tell them that I have a famous

youtube channel – make them really believe it, and go on to describe the number of your

subscribers and how long you’ve been on YouTube (of course, you’re making this all up). I tell

them that I’m making a Runescape Music Video because I’m quitting, and if they help me, then I

will give them 50M gp for their help. Then I show them my 50M gp just to verify.

Then I tell the victim that I need to get a cool shot for the video of a battle, and I tell him

to take only his three most valuable weapons or armor. Here, you have to show that you are

really concerned for the player. Keep repeatedly telling them that they should only take 3 items

maximum, because they can keep three when they die. Keep telling them not to take anymore

than three items, because if the person gets attacked, they might lose items. By showing your

concern for the player, he will be more likely to trust you.

Once they agree, you can tell them to bring their three items and you can start preparing

for the kill.

Preparing for the Kill

Just before you’re about to head to your destination in the wilderness, make sure you

have items that would look nice in a video but not items you wouldn’t want to lose. You and your

friend will now bring PK supplies in your inventory ready for when you enter the wilderness. It is

ideal to bring runes for casting spells such as ice barrage but if your opponent has no food it isn’t

really necessary. Before leaving make sure the victim has no food in his inventory. Now take them

and your friend to an isolated place in the wilderness to avoid PKers.

Setting up the Chinchompas

Once you’ve reached the destination tell them that in this scene you’re going to need to be

wielding chinchompas. Now once you’ve traded your victim a chinchompa, have you and your

friend wield one also. Now ask the victim and your friend if they have auto retaliate on, it’s vital

that they have it on.

Now you are going to attack the victim. Before attacking the victim, make sure your friend

is standing right next to you. When you attack the victim, his auto retaliate will attack back but at

the same time it will attack your friend (Chinchompa’s can attack up to 9 people at once). Now

when the victim attacks both you and your friend by the auto-retaliate, he will be skulled because

he just initiated an attack on your friend.

Getting the Kill

This is the most satisfying part. As soon as you see that the victim is skulled, you and your

friend should start attacking him. Since you told the victim to only bring 3 items, it is very likely

that your victim will not have any food. This will make it easy for you and your friend to kill the

victim.

If he does have some food, then either you or your friend can take turns entangling or ice

barraging the victim while the other just keeps constantly attacking the victim. The victim will

proceed to die, and you will loot all the three valuable items he has brought along with him. I’ve

personally used this method to make millions.

Lure Troubleshooting

Lot of times, people are scared to go with you into the wilderness. You need to assure

them that you WILL NOT harm them. Tell them that you NEED them in order to do this video,

because you need someone with decent looking stuff. Make them feel special and make them feel

like you truly need them to do this method as partners. Remember to keep bringing up that you

will pay them 50M gp (or whatever price you set) for their help.

A lot of times, you will run into the wilderness but you will find your victim will stay back.

This is because they became scared from the wilderness ditch warning. Just reassure them using

the methods above. If you find that a victim knows what you are trying to do, and just plays hard-

to-get, then move on to another victim. It’s wiser to just skip that victim, because he might waste an

hour of your time and not even follow you into the wilderness in the end. In that one hour, you

could have lured 3 other people who are less suspicious.

As with anything, experience determines how well you deal with problems that arise. If

you continue luring, you will come across problems and learn creative methods to solving them.

Remember, there are TONS of victims out there. So if you get stuck on one, there’s no need to

stop luring. Just move on, kill, and make millions every hour!

Partyhat Luring Method

Introduction

Pjerry72 is a lurer on youtube that became famous for his ability to take people with

partyhats into a dangerous area, and then kill the people for their partyhats. If you are not

aware, Partyahts are currently the most expensive items in the game. Even the cheapest partyhat

costs over ONE BILLION GP.

Pjerry72 was able to lure MULTIPLE partyhats and claim them as his own. He would find

people with partyhats on the forums, or in-game, and talk them into going to a dangerous area

with him. His method involved assuring people that the dangerous area was actually safe, and

when the time came, he killed the players and took their partyhats.

In the process, he made BILLIONS of GP in a single month. He has a video where he shows

off 22 Billion GP worth of partyhats. So how did he achieve this feat? What method could he

possibly have used?

The thing is, nobody knew. Pjerry72 doesn’t tell a soul about his methods of luring these

people. And the people who would get lured by him usually quit Runescape. However, I got into

contact with someone that LOST A PARTYHAT to pjerry72. So essentially, that person got lured by

Pjerry72 and lost a partyhat, but he learned Pjerry72’s luring method in the process.

Now think about that for a second. This person paid 2 BILLION GP, to find out how

Pjerry72’s luring method. And you’re getting it here as a FREE bonus guide. So enjoy this method,

and hopefully you’ll by the end of this guide, you’ll be ready to lure partyhats and other rares.

Purple Portal Background

With the introduction of the Gamer’s Grotto, people could go to this location near Falador

to play games such as stealing creation and clan wars. The clan wars section of the Gamer’s

Grotto features three portals. There’s a white one (free-for-all, safe), red one (free-for-all,

dangerous), and a purple one (team-based, safe or dangerous depending on the settings you

select).

You can change the options to your choosing. The trick is to Pjerry’s luring is to turn off all types of

attack besides magic. The option that items kept on death was also set. He also turned off food,

prayer, and potions.

Most people think is pretty obvious. However, the trick that most people didn’t know, is

that he would take his victim into the portal two different times. The first time he would allow his

victim to use food and teleport as well. Then he would change up the options for the second time.

So we’ll go in-depth into how you can lure just like him.

What You Need

Partner

This is a two-man operation. In order to get the victim, you also need a luring partner. You

need to make sure that your partner is trusthworthy (preferably someone you know in real life, or

known for a long time). Your partner will be able to kill you just as easily as you are able to kill

your victim. Your partner can also betray you by finding a victim that’s actually his friend, and

then ganging up on you.

For this reason, make sure you have a partner that you know you can trust. Your partner

will also be showing off some expensive items for the purposes of this lure, so make sure your

partner is somewhat wealthy. It’s best if you have a partner that has a similar amount as you do.

High Magic Level and Magic Gear

For this lure, you will need to ice barrage your opponent in order to keep him from

reaching the exit portal. So you should have a high magic level to accurately and effectively hit

with ice barrage. The effectiveness of your ice barrages is also increased with good gear, so

make sure you have good magic gear.

You want to make sure that you don’t bring gear that you can’t risk. So try to have the

gear that you see in the inventory above. If you don’t know what items they are, the items are

Zuriel staff + armor, glory, infinity gloves and boots, magic book, and magic cape. Also havee

runes for casting ice barrage and blood barrage. Keep this in a separate bank tab for now.

Money and Rare Items

You will need money and rare items. The first part of this lure (discussed in section IV) is to

show off your money or rare items to the victim. In order to do so, you need to have some rare

items and money. It helps to have something very visual like a hween mask set. Pjerry72 used a

partyhat set to show off to the people that he would lure.

Unless you have some good items or money before you start this lure, it’s going to be

difficult to convince people that have nice items to listen to you.

Skype Account and Microphone

Most of the expert lurers get their victims to go on to Skype. If you don’t know, Skype is basically

a voice chatting service. You can install it for free, and it lets you talk to other people using your

microphone. The advantage to this is that your victims can actually be talking to a person, which

makes them feel much safer and at ease.

Getting a Victim

The best place to look for victims is either at the grand exchange. Head over to the

Grand Exchange and look for people with decent gear. Depending on what you want to lure,

decent gear could mean a partyhat, santa hat, or just bandos. The more money you have, the

higher lures you can go for.

For example, you shouldn’t go after someone with a santa hat if you yourself have only

40M worth. It’s very unlikely that the person in the santa hat will even listen or trust what you have

to say. However, if you have about 500M worth, then you can go for the person with the santa

hat. Similarly, if you want to get someone with a partyhat, you will be more credible if you have

ownership of a party (or borrow one).

Once you spotted someone with items that you would like to lure, you need to proceed to

make contact with the person. It’s a pretty delicate procedure, so let’s see how you can approach

them.

Establishing Contact

The first thing you want to do is walk up to the victim and show off your bank. Just walk up

to them, trade, and show a ton of good stuff. Then maybe put a little smiley face.

If they don’t seem interested, or reply with something like “Yeah… So what’s your point?” then it’s

best that you leave them alone and move on. If your victim replies with something like “OMG!

That’s insane dude. Please show me!”, then you know that your lure victim is interested in what you

have to say.

The next step is to get an idea of how old the victim is, and how sharp your victim is. Tell

them that you just took your driving test today to get your driver’s license. Then ask the victim

about their experiences of obtaining a driver’s license. Here the victim will either tell you about

(meaning they are 16 years of age or older), or they will reply that they haven’t done it because

they’re too young.

If you get someone that is younger than 16 years of age, they are more likely to fall for

the lure. This is because they are less aware of their surroundings, and are less likely to read

through the warning messages that come before entering the purple portal.

Then you want to measure your victim’s level of sharpness. Ask the victim about some real world

questions to see how sharp they. Maybe crack some jokes at them and see how clever they can

be with their responses. This is to determine the wit and sharpness of the person you are trying to

lure.

If you see that your victim is over the age of 18, and pretty sharp, then you can have a good

sense of whether you should spend the rest of your time attempting to lure this person. Now that

we have the initial contact phase done, it’s time to talk them up into getting lured by you.

Talking Up Your Victim

By now, your victim is probably more interested in how you make your money. Don’t give

it all away at once. Keeping talking and building them up with anticipation.

At this point, you want them to add you so you can PM them. Ask them to add you to their friends

list for talking privately. Then reveal to them that you lure to make your money. You might be

thinking… “HOLD IT SHAD! I’m going to tell them what I’m doing to them?” Well, not exactly.

You’re going to tell the person you are a lurer, but the trick is, you’re going to make them think

that they will be luring WITH YOU. So you’re going to make your lure victim think that he’s

actually your lure partner.

So as soon as they add you to friends list, say “Making money on Runescape is a joke”.

They might then ask you how you make money, so tell them that you lure. Then mention again that

you make 10% of your current bank per day (so if you have 500m, you tell them you make 50m

a day).

Now you should tell them to add you on to Skype. Say that you have some sensitive

information that you shouldn’t discuss on Runescape. If they don’t have a microphone or if they

don’t want to get skype, then don’t worry. Try not to press them too much, and just continue trying

to lure them through Runescape chat.

You should spend about 10 minutes talking to the victim on Skype. Get to know them, ask

them about their hobbies and things like that. Make them feel like you are a kind and genuine

person. Then after a while, tell the victim that they seem mature enough to lure with you. You will

let the victim know that his job is to be the “talker” in the lure, so he will basically find people for

the both of you to lure.

At this point, tell the victim that you are going to show him how both of you will lure another

person. This is called the first run-through. You will do this to make your victim think that the place

you will take him later is safe, when in actuality, you will change the settings the second time to

make it dangerous.

The First Run-Through

Give your victim a games necklace and tell them to go to gamer’s grotto. Bring a dragon

scimitar and wield it. Tell the victim that the person you two will lure together will be killed by

your dragons cimitar. Take out a few Varrock teletabs and give your victim two of them.

Tell your victim to bank his items at the bank chest and bring only the varrock teletabs. Then tell

your victim to start a battle with you in the portal. Make sure the settings are set to keep items

safe during the battle. This will allow them to use their varrock teleportation tab.

Once you guys are in the portal, tell your victim that you will bring someone to kill here.

Tell your victim that he will have someone on his team, and they will come to the middle of the

battlefield and wait for the wall to come down.

Then once you’re done explaining, tell your victim to use the varrock teletab. You will both

be teleported to varrock. Now your victim thinks that he can teleport out of there anytime he

wants, so he won’t feel in danger to take items into the purple portal. However, the next time you

go in there, you are going to change the options so that items are lost on death. This prevents

your victim from teleporting out of the purple portal map.

However, there’s still more you need to do before we can get to that second time of getting

your victim into the portal.

Your Real Partner Steps In

At this point, you want to have your REAL luring partner situate himself at world 2 Grand

Exchange, near the western area. This is where most people buy and sell rare items. Remember,

your victim is your “pretend” luring partner. As I mentioned earlier in this guide, you will need to

have a REAL luring partner that you can trust (and is wealthy) to do this lure.

So you and your victim should be in varrock now that you used the teletab. Tell your victim

to go to world 2 Grand Exchange and look for people that you two can lure. Depending on what

rare item your real partner is wearing, tell your victim to go look for someone with that item. Tell

your victim to ask those people if they would be interested in coming to a drop party at the

falador party room. So for example, if your partner is wearing a santa hat, tell your victim to go

to world 2 and ask the people with santa hats if they want to come to a drop party.

Of course most people will reply with a “no”. However, your partner will say yes and

agree to go with your victim to the “drop party”. Tell your victim to bring your real partner to the

falador party room.

At this point, you should be waiting at the falador drop party room with all your stuff.

Once your victim and real partner gets there, show your real partner the stuff and have him freak

out. Tell your real partner to say that he “really wants those items”. Then tell your victim that you

feel like this lure is going to work on this guy.

So just to clear this up… You have a REAL luring partner that is now pretending to be a

victim. Your ACTUAL victim who you were talking up on Skype is now pretending to be your lure

partner. So your victim thinks that he is actually working with you to lure someone. That someone is

your actual lure partner.

At this point, you say that you will have the drop party in 10 minutes. But also say that you

want to start filming this drop party at the clan wars place in celebration of your clan. Say that

you’ll film at clan wars, then come right back to the falador party room in 10 minutes. Give both

of them games necklaces and tell them to teleport to Gamer’s Grotto.

Truly Convincing Your Victim

You want to start talking to you victim on Skype again. If you can’t talk to your victim on

Skype, then just send your victim private messages. Tell your victim to bank all his stuff and tell

your victim to ask your real lure partner to join his friend’s chat. So your lure partner should be in

your victim’s friend chat.

Now challenge your victim to a battle and make sure you keep it on safe mode. You’re

going to tell your lure partner to go in with like a rune med helm or something (say this in private

chat). Tell your real lure partner to say something about not wanting to take anything good in

there until he sees that it’s safe. Tell your victim to bring some junk item as well.

So start the battle and all of you will go into the portal. Now kill both your victim and

your lure partner. Since it was on safe mode, no one loses any items. So in the clan wars lobby,

tell them “See? You keep your stuff, it’s completely safe”.

This time, start another battle, but make it so that they “Drop items on death”. Also turn

food, prayer , potions and ranging off. Tell your lure partner to go in with whatever good item he

had on earlier. However, tell your victim that he doesn’t have to go in with anything good. So

your lure partner will enter with say a red hween mask.

You have to wait in the clan wars arena for about a minute before the battle starts. Now

your victim thinks that you guys are just one minute away for getting a red hween mask together.

So at this point, your victim will think that you are genuinely his lure partner, because you asked

him to bring nothing, and you have someone else in there with a good item that you will kill. So at

this point, your victim is truly convinced that you two are luring together to get someone else.

But with just 20 seconds left before the battle starts, tell your real luring partner (the one who

brought in a good item) to leave the clan wars arena.

Getting Your Victim to Bring His Good Item(s)

Now comes the part where you convince your victim to bring in the good items you were

after. Tell your victim to meet you in the clan wars lobby since your real partner just left the clan

war arena. Tell your real partner to ask your victim why he didn’t have a good item on that he

saw the victim wearing earlier in world 2 GE and wearing before the clan wars match started.

Tell your real partner to say that you had your rare item on, your real lure partner had

his item on, but that he victim didn’t have his item on. And then tell your real partner to add how

that seems pretty suspicious. Then have your real lure partner bank his red hween mask (or

whatever rare item) and refuse to bring it until your victim brings in his good item(s).

At this point, you want to tell your victim to go on to skype (or just private message). Stress

that the person you guys are luring to lure (your real luring partner) isn’t going to enter unless

both of you bring your good items.

THIS is the crucial part!! Reassure your victim that once he’s in the portal, he can just

teleport away once you start attacking your real lure partner for his red hween mask. And you

want to be sure that you have your good item on, and are wielding just a dragon scimitar (to

make your victim think you are really attacking with a dragon scimitar and not ice barrage).

What your victim doesn’t realize is that he can’t teleport if item safety is turned off. So the

earlier time that you showed your victim that he can teleport out of the clan wars won’t work this

time, because items aren’t kept on death. So this little part, about telling your victim that he can

just teleport away when you start attacking your real luring partner, is the part that will really

convince your victim that he’s safe when bringing in items into the purple portal.

So once you have your victim come into the portal, it’s time to kill. Make sure on the settings

that you turn potions, food and prayer off, just like you did during the last time you entered a

few minutes ago.

Killing the Victim

Have your victim and your real lure partner come up to the wall that separates both sides.

Have ice blitz on auto-cast. As soon as the wall comes down, equip your magic staff and cast ice

blitz until it freezes your opponent. Then wear the rest of your gear, have your real lure partner

step away, and switch to auto-casting with ice barrage.

You want to make sure you cast ice blitz first, because your real luring partner might also

get hit if you do ice barrage. If both your victim and your lure partner die, then the battle ends,

and you don’t even get a chance to pick up the loot.

So make sure that you don’t attack your real luring partner. Keep ice barraging your

victim until he is dead. Then remove the victim from your friends list and end the Skype call.

Pick up the loot and… congratulations, you just lured like Pjerry72! You can keep using this

method to build your wealth and skills at luring. Eventually you can lure partyhats like Pjerry72.

Lure Rares in F2P Worlds

Background

There are some really good rare items that you can lure on F2P worlds. Partyhats are

F2P, but they aren’t all too common on F2P worlds. However, there are still items worth 100-

200M on F2P worlds that you can lure pretty easily by using this method.

This method involves luring your victim into the wilderness using the Waka canoe. Not very

many free players know about the Waka canoe or what it does. It was introduced to F2P worlds

February of this year, and wasn’t announced that much. Not only that, but F2P players don’t have

very many uses for the Waka canoe, so that’s another reason that most F2P players have no idea

what it is.

Requirements

For this method, you will need two people. You can get a partner, or you can dual-log

using two accounts if you have a fast enough internet connection. Both accounts will require 57

woodcutting.

We’ll address one account as the talker, and the account as the killer. Your killer account

will need to have a high magic level (85 or higher). It should have runes for casting teleportation

block (now available for F2P), fire blast, and bind. It should also have a decent dungeoneering

level, because you can receive good magic-related items from the dungeoneering rewards.

Your killer should have a Gravite Staff, Magical Blastbox, Arcane Pulse Necklace, Swanky

Boots, and charged Druidic Mage gear (good for binding). Make sure your druidic mage gear is

charged from fist of guthix points.

If you don’t have the required dungeoneering tokens, you can always swap Gravite staff for a

regular elemental staff, swap the blast necklace for amulet of magic, and the blastbox for an

empty shield slot.

Your killer’s inventory should have food (but not a lot, incase you need to chase your

enemy), runes (to cast tele-block, fire blast, and bind), an alternative melee weapon, and wizard

mind bomb to temporarily boost your magic damage.

Your talker should have good Wizard (G) Robes worn, and a Red H’Ween mask. In the

inventory, the talker should carry a bunch of inexpensive rune armor (like rune chain bodies and

rune plateskirts). They should be unnoted. The reasoning will be explained later.

Waka Canoe Basics

Since you’re going to be using the Waka Canoe for this lure, it’s best that you understand

how the canoe works, and how it can used for this lure. You will be using the Canoe Station in

Lumbridge for this lure. Pick lumbridge because it’s where players first start off, and it’s the

furthest away from the Wilderness. That’s why using this canoe station puts players in a false

sense of safety, because they wouldn’t think that they can enter the wilderness straight from

Lumbridge.

So here’s how you use the Canoe to enter the wilderness. Follow the map below to get the

station from Lumbridge Castle:

Then chop the tree that you see at the station

You don’t need an axe. Barfy Bill will loan you an axe if you don’t have one:

The tree will fall down and you can shape it into a canoe:

For this method, it will have to be shaped into a Waka Canoe.

Then select to “Float Canoe”.

As soon as you do, it will ask you which destination. Clicking on “Wilderness Pond” will take you to

the wilderness.

But you will get a warning message:

However, if you toggle-warnings with the Doom Sayer…

Find “Wildnerness Wall” and it will appear green at first.

Click on it and make it red.

This will turn off the warning that you’re entering the wilderness. So as soon as you click on

wilderness pond, you will be transported there without any way to exit out of the travel.

This will take you deep into level 35 wilderness.

And remember, this is all F2P stuff so far. There’s nothing P2P involved in this method.

The location you will end up in is level 35, near moss giants. This is great, because south of you,

there’s a giant wall. So if your victim tries to run south, they will be forced to go around the wall.

Usually they won’t bring food, but even if they do, the wall to the south will really slow down the

victim’s goal of running further south.

So you are already kind of getting an idea of how this lure will work out. Let’s delve deeper into

the method.

Searching for a Victim

The best place to look for victims is at the grand exchange. Head over to the Grand

Exchange (talker account is doing this). Make sure you are wearing your wizard (g) robes and a

rare item like hween mask or santa.

Look for people in world 1 or other populated worlds, and find someone with a rare that

you think the killer will be able to kill. Then look them up on the hiscores. If they have 57

woodcutting or higher (most rich F2P players do), then you will be able to lure them with this

method.

Trade them and try to loan your rare to make sure that their rare isn’t loaned.

Establishing Contact

You want to tell the victim to add you. Then PM them that you’re quitting, and giving away

stuff at a random F2P world that is less populated. First say you’re going to give away the rune

items for free, and that you’ll sell your rare for 20M lower than its bank value.

Tell the victim that you’re doing it for a quitting video. So for example, if you have a

Santa Hat which is worth 120M, you tell the victim that you’re going to sell it for 100M. Tell your

victim that you will sell it to him for cash. Then your victim will either have the cash, or sell their

rare to make the cash. If they don’t seem interested, don’t push them, just move on and try to find

someone else with the rares.

If you find a victim that’s interested and has the cash, then ask them to meet you at

Lumbridge, in a world of your choice, so that you can start making the “quitting video”. Just have

them home teleport with you once you hop to a different world.

Make sure that your killer is also on that world, and at the moss giants are that the Waka

Canoe takes you to.

Talking Up Your Victim

Have your victim follow you to the doom-sayer area. Tell your victim that you know a

glitch to making money, and you’ll show it to him after you trade the stuff. But tell him for now, he

should talk to the doom-sayer and turn all the warnings in green into red. This also works if you

can take your victim to a foreign language world, as they won’t know what warnings they are

turning off.

If your victim asks why he is turning off the wilderness wall warning or seems suspicious,

assure your victim that you won’t be entering the wilderness. Tell him you’ll stay in Lumbridge for

now. Then have your victim follow you close to the canoe. Tell him that you’ll trade your rare for

the agreed upon price, and ask something like “So, do you have the money ready?”

Then trade him to make sure he has it. Declined the trade, and then tell him you’ll give him some

free stuff first – say this is for separate quitting video that has a montage of you giving away

rune stuff to random people. Then give him all the rune gear that can fit in his inventory (don’t

give weapons, just armor). This will gain his trust because you’re giving him free stuff, it will also

weigh down the victim when they’re trying to escape from the wilderness, and also they might be

stupid enough to wear while getting attacked by the killer that is using magic (magic hits harder

when someone is wearing rune armor).

After giving your victim the items, tell them that you want a different scenario for the rare

giveaway. Ask him to cut the canoe station and carve up a waka canoe and meet you at the most

northern pond. If they are stupid, they will go right away. If they aren’t that stupid, then they will

ask you why you want to meet at a location called “Wilderness Pond”. Just tell them that it’s the

pond in Edgeville, right before getting to the wilderness. Tell them it’s faster than walking to

Edgeville, and that they don’t have to cross the wilderness ditch once you guys get there. If your

victim clicks on the wilderness pond, he’ll immediately see this:

He won’t be able to get out of the screen, and will end up in level 35 wilderness.

Killing the Victim

Now the victim is in level 35 wilderness, and so is your killer. Make sure to tell your killer

to drink a Wizard Mind Bomb, have “Run” on, Fire Blast on “auto-cast”, and any magic-boosting

prayers activated right before your victim gets there.

The killer should start off by casting bind on the victim, followed by tele-blocks until there

is a successful one, then cast more binds and fire blasts until the victim is dead. Since coins aren’t

protect in the wilderness, the victim will drop the 100M!

Safely Exiting the Wilderness with 100M+

This part is important, because your killer might die if he’s not smart about carefully

getting out of the wilderness with 100M. Make sure your killer is in a world that is not associated

with wilderness activities (clans, high risk PvP worlds, etc). Before making a move, make sure your

killer eats up to full HP if he was attacked. Also make sure that your killer has the log button

ready to press at ALL times. Travel AROUND the wilderness volcano crater, because it has high

level monsters where people train at.

Once the killer reaches level 20 wilderness, the killer should teleport using runes or a Ring

of Kinship. Then split the loot accordingly.

Chapter 21: Banking during PvP Battle

Background

Have you ever gone PvPing with an item that you really didn’t want to lose? If you’re like

me, and you like using items like Dragon Claws during your PvP battles or during PK’ing trips, then

you also know how risky it feels to take such expensive items into PvP. If you die on a non +1

world, then you lose the expensive item(s) that you’ve worked so hard to buy.

Well, NOT ANYMORE! I have a method to SAVE your expensive items by banking them

before you die, EVEN while you’re in a battle far away from a bank!

Requirements

For this method, you will need 71 hunter. You also need the item “Magic Box” which is a

hunter item that can be bought from the Yanille Hunter supply store, or from the GE. You also

need an item that you are afraid of losing ;)

Method

Take all the Magic Boxes that you want, and place them just north of Yanille in the

location shown below:

There are four imps that respawn here, and very few people go to this location. That makes it a

perfect area to catch these imps. Simply set-up your magic boxes and try to catch as many imps

as you like. The magic boxes should turn into “Imp-In-A-Box(2)”

Each of these Imp-In-A-Box (2) will bank two items! So if you bring 2 of them, you will be

able to bank four items! This works if you are under level 30 Wilderness. All you have to do is

select “Use” on the item you want to bank, and then use it with your Imp-In-A-Box (2). Presto! Your

precious item is now safely in your bank!

Uses of Method

There are many situations when this method is useful. One situation I’m often faced with is

when I’m out of food and I know I won’t make it to the bank. So I just use my Imp-in-a-box and it

banks my rare items for me. Another situation is when I’m fighting someone in a BH world and I

want to leave the fight, but they used magic to bind me. If I’m low on food when the enemy binds

me, I avoid taking risks by using this to bank my valuable weapon. The scariest situation is when

you are out in the wilderness alone and you discover a giant clan coming right at you. If a mage

shoots bind and teleblock on you, then you can’t log out or run away. So I quickly use this method

to bank my most valuable weapons and then let them kill me. Now you can go out into the PvP

worlds with a 50M item, and not have to worry about losing it! Have fun with this method,

because I know I sure did.

Chapter 22: Ultimate Unbanning Guide

A Runescape account means a lot for many people. Some have invested hundreds of horus

making their account as good as it currently is. Recently I lost my 100mil level 56 d clawer. Why

did I lose it? Well, my reason mainly applies to everyone that has lost an insane account. It got

banned. And for what reason you ask? Well, Macroing. Thing is, is that I hadn’t macroed on the

account for over 1 month before it got banned. So they had looked up records apparently. I see

this as a reoccurring thing. I have had around 5-10 accounts banned now just from Macroing.

My reason for telling you this is to bring you a legit unbanning guide. Under what

circumstances am I writing this? Well let me start off here by saying that I have had trouble

getting accounts unbanned myself and Krunk’s unbanning guide is SHIT! I tried it on over 15

banned accounts. Not a single one got banned. If you noticed the name change went from 99%

unban guide to high unban rate. Meaning it doesn’t work as well as he had hoped for. There

could be a few reasons for this: sold to many copies and Runescape saw a reoccurring pattern, I

didn’t follow it right, or the guide was shit to start off with. I think the third thing is the best to go

with. But instead of putting his guide down. I would like you to see for yourself; how much easier

to follow and best put together guide is by comparing each of ours.

While I take you through showing you how to get your account unbanned. Now I will use a

few methods that I learned from Krunk’s method on how to explain things and to use in my method

for getting unbanned. Such as how he organized his guide. Also, a few other things. But enough

about his guide and more about mine. Let’s get started.

Unbanning with Appeals

Assuming that you are just coming to my guide now, I think it is in all reason that you

should always start from the beginning to get the best result possible. Please wait 1 month to

begin this when you have one fresh appeal for your mute or your ban sentence.

Below is a list of situations - covering bans for macroing, password scamming, website

advertising, etc). The situations have a sample message that outlines things you can say in your

own appeal. The sample messages are what their name implies – samples for your appeal. Do

not copy and paste the sample appeal directly to your appeal box, otherwise your appeal may

not be successful as Jagex will have recognized seeing the exact same appeal from other users in

the past. It is then, to your benefit, that you use the appeals in this guide as an outline to mold

and shape your own similar appeal. If you keep the main points the same as the sample appeal,

you will have a good chance of getting your account (and all the hard work you put into it) back

into your possession.

A. Appealing Macroing:

If you are appealing for Macroing, you either were caught by a mod, had your account

reviewed by a mod, or you got a lot of reports against you for Macroing. Usually like me, this

happens around 2-3 weeks after you have gotten banned. Like I said we will be basing my guide

with as much truth and business-like manners as possible. Ok what I want you to do are to use the

following statement to try and get unbanned. Please edit the information to fit your personal

needs.

“Dear Jagex,

Account Name: [account name here]

I was recently banned for Macroing apparently. This is for what reason I would like to appeal

this. I would like to start off by saying that I have missed the time in game, with the other players,

and would more than anything want to rejoin and catch up with my friends. But I am here to tell

you that for what you have accused me of are true. I did macro under the game rules and more

than likely do deserve being banned. But I would like you to consider taking off my ban. Because

if you were want to be kind enough to do so. Please look back at my records and you will see my

playing time has dropped tremendously in the past, meaning that I did not continue to macro. I

saw no enjoyment in doing so. I would like you to consider removing my ban and from the

kindness of your heart, accept my apology because I am sorry that I did not follow the games

rules, and allow me to rejoin the game. I will promise from all of my heart that I will never return

to a macro or anything again. Please take the time to take in my dearest apology and allow me

to reenter the game with my fellow friends.

B. Appealing Mute:

Becoming un-muted is very difficult; even more difficult than getting unbanned, because they have

they have actual proof of the offence. Consequently, this is the best I can suggest for appealing a

mute. I highly recommend changing it some and adding things specific to your circumstances. For

this, we will contact them through the email [email protected]

“Dear Jagex,


I am terribly sorry to have to contact you through this email; I did read that this was for parent

use only, but this was the only way I could think of to contact you. I was recently muted for

unacceptable behavior (maybe insert more specific reasons here). I ask that you please take the

time to hear me out: I was recently muted for poor in-game conduct. Until now, I had no idea how

detrimental to my normal play a mute would be. As I have played through a bit with my mute, I

have begun to understand just how much it hurts to not be able to have your voice heard. I am not

denying the accusations, and I wish to tell you, as your proof will show, that the accusations are

true. I was being ignorant; plain and simple. However, I would like you to please understand the

rough times I have been going through lately: my parents are on the verge of separation and I

believe this has brought out much anger, confusion, and unhappiness in me. I used the game as a

vent to unleash all these emotions, and it was wrong and unacceptable. I talked to my school

counselor about my situation. I’ve visited with them several times now, and my counselor, family,

and friends all say they have seen great improvements in my behavior. I’ve found other ways now

to deal with my emotions, and I truly feel I’m back to my normal, benevolent self. Please

reconsider my mute and have my word that I vow to never act out the way I did again, and have

If your account has been banned for scamming passwords, please consider the following

the one on the account at the time. I was away on a trip, and my [friends, room-mates, etc.]

thought it would be funny if they messed around on my account while I was away. Unbeknownst

to me, they used my account to scam passwords from people in hopes of making some quick

money and getting free accounts. Unfortunately, all this was at my expense. I was absolutely

devastated when I found out that I was banned, and I asked my [friends, room-mates, etc.] if they

had any idea how this possibly could have happened. After much avoiding of the answer, they

told me, still laughing, that they had used my account for scamming purposes. They had gone into

a text document that I keep my passwords in and stole it from there. I was furious and made sure

nothing of the sorts would happen again. I’m terribly sorry, on my [friends’, room-mates’,

etc.] behalf, for the offences committed on my account, and the people who were scammed, and I

wish there was some way I could un-do all this, but unfortunately, I can’t. I ask that you please

quick money. Unfortunately, all this was at my expense. I was absolutely devastated when I found

out that I was banned, and I asked my [friends, room-mates, etc.] if they had any idea how this

possibly could have happened. After much avoiding of the answer, they told me, still laughing,

that they had used my account for advertisement purposes. They had gone into a text document

that I keep my passwords in and stole it from there. I was furious and made sure nothing of the

sorts would happen again. I’m terribly sorry, on my [friends’, room-mates’, etc.] behalf, for the

Ok, I am guessing that the appeals didn’t turn out to good from there. Now that is no reason to

burst your bubble and you should not give up if you really want your account unbanned you can

do it. So from here we are going to contact [email protected]. I learned this from Krunk but I

did some research and found a better way to apply this for getting unbanned.

“Dear Runescape,

I am sorry to have to contact you through this email; I did read that this was for parent use only.

But as this is the best email that I could contact to inform you with my issue. I was recently banned

for Macroing apparently. I feel like the appeal system is almost corrupt and I don’t feel confident

in it to hear me out and listen what I am trying to say and I feel as though they really don’t care

what the message say it is like it is a guaranteed no, this is why I am contacting you here.

Although I would like to submit my appeal here. As I would like to see what someone with better

working ability would might say. I would like to start off by saying that I have missed the time in

game, with the other players, and would more than anything want to rejoin and catch up with my

friends. But I am here to tell you that for what you have accused me of are true. I did macro

under the game rules and more than likely do deserve being banned. But I would like you to

consider taking off my ban. Because if you were want to be kind enough to do so. Please look

back at my records and you will see my playing time has dropped tremendously in the past,

meaning that I did not continue to macro. I saw no enjoyment in doing so. I would like you to

consider removing my ban and from the kindness of your heart, accept my apology because I am

sorry that I did not follow the games rules, and allow me to rejoin the game. I will promise from

Like I stated before getting unmated is a very difficult thing to do even more difficult than getting

here. Although, I would like to submit my appeal here. As I would like to see what someone with

better working ability would might say. So please here me out and consider my situation to be an

exception to the parents only email, I was recently muted for having bad in game behavior. This

is for what reason I am contacting you with this appeal. I would like to start off by saying that

being muted is a very difficult thing to deal with. It makes life a lot harder. As I have been muted

in game I begin to understand under how much anguish you would have to be under if you did

could not speak in real life. As I tell you this I want you to understand that I am not denying the

accusation that I was being ignorant and behaving like an immature child. I am actually telling

you that you the accusation is true. I did do all of these things. I was being very ignorant. I would

also like you to understand though that I have recently gone through some tough times with my

mom and dad divorcing it has brought a lot of anguish and discuss inside of me and I believe my

way of letting it out was through the game. I recently visited a therapist about this. A few visits

and people have say they have seen much improvement in my behavior and I have not engaged

anyone negatively since. I believe that I have come to the right since of mind. I would also like you

to consider this and consider me being able to communicate with the other players. I give you

permission that if I ever do anything likes this again to ban my account indefinitely. That is what I

By this time you have exhausted two of the first methods for being unbanned. If you really

still want your account to become unbanned I recommend that you continue going through the

guide.

Friend Helping for Macroing:

Ok, I am guessing that the appeals or email didn’t turn out to good from there. Now that is no

reason to burst your bubble and you should not give up if you really want your account unbanned

you can do it. So from here you are going to have your best friend contact [email protected].

This person needs to have no offences against them. They need to have played Runescape for an

extended period of time, and be experienced at it and they need to be real. Meaning that they

do it from their house from, using their computer, giving their name. Because you want this to be

as real as possible. Get them to use the below message but change it some:

Macroing though which I don’t understand because he was at my house playing the game when he

Your tries and attempts to becoming unbanned have failed you so far. But rest assured

you are still able to get it unbanned. You are only about half way through the guide now and

need to continue to get it unbanned if it isn’t yet.
