    In 2070 most food is made from soy and mycoprotein since the commercially available

    food products of the late 20th and earlier 21st centuries became economically untenable.

    There are still some "real" foods available, but only to the wealthy and excessive. Thishas the side effect of most foods then being ridiculously processed and enriched with

    vitamins, nutrients and amino acids in an attempt to keep the people in some satire of the

    word "healthy". By 2070 most restaurants are franchise-based and/or owned subsidiariesof one of the Big 10 Megacorporations. Many restaurants have appeared in the last 6

    decades that have become very popular. Some examples are:

    Fast Food:

    Stuffer Shack (Aztechnology) A combination 7/11 and Subway Sandwich Shop,

    Stuffer Shack is an a-la cart deli shop that keeps the soy dogs, soytato chips andsoybeer fresh all day, every day.

    Nukit: Burgers and More (Ares Macrotechnology) Home of the original Nukit

    Burger, the Nukit chain of restaurants is unique in that it allows for the patrons tonuke their own food to their preferred temperature.

    Burgerama (Shiawase Corporation) A fairly typical soyburger fast food

    restaurant chain, Burgerama is mostly known for its sacrilegious mascot Hungry

    Rama, a depiction of the Hindu God Rama happily eating a burger.

    Dr. Burger (Evo Corporation) Burgeramas major competitor is another typical

    fast food burger chain whose claim to fame is that none of its burgers are made

    from soy, instead being made from vat grown mycoprotein.

    Bunsen Burgers (NeoNET) Another fast food burger chain primarily known forcooking its burgers over an open gas flame.

    Chucks Wagon (Horizon) A mobile canteen that sells burgers, chicken

    sandwiches, hot dogs, breakfast burritos, wraps and their famous Chuck WagonStew, all made from some combination of soy and mycoprotein.

    Italian:

    Mama Marias Italian Eatery (Ares Macrotechnology) A large, cozy, sit-downItalian restaurant chain that presents a down-home image, Mama Marias is not

    particularly high quality but is an affordable night out for a hardworking family.

    Buongiornos (Evo Corporation) A more upscale Italian chain, Buongiornos is

    famous for its authentic seafood dishes using real fish from clean water farms.

    Caf Rosso (Aztechnology) The Red Caf started out as a hole-in-the-wall

    coffee shop at the corner of 1st Avenue and Pikes Place, but swiftly grew in

    prominence for offering the finest soykaff in Seattle. Now in addition to soykaff

    they offer a small but excellent selection of Italian sandwiches and pastries made

    from the finest soygredients money can buy.

    Japanese:

    Shogun! (Shiawase) A traditional hibachi grill and steakhouse where the food isprepared in front of you.

    Glass Onion (Mitsuhama Computer Technologies) Sushi and other traditionalJapanese a-la cart menu items for the fashionable diner on a schedule.

    Chinese:

    Green Village (Ares Macrotechnology) A quaint mom-and-pop style chain

    restaurant, patrons of Green Village select their items buffet style and can get

    their food to-go or sit down inside the restaurants dining area.

    Lee Chee Garden (Wuxing Inc.) This recent chain of upscale restaurants offers

    more traditional Chinese but at higher prices.

    Nyen Lang (Shiawase) A traditional Tibetan and Mongolian BBQ chain.

    Ohgi Ya (Evo Corporation) A moderately-priced sit-down Chinese cuisinechain that caters to the growing culture of displaced Asian metahumans. Offers a

    wide variety of metahuman seating options and employment opportunities.

    Run Run Shaws (Aztechnology) A typical Chinese Fast Food chain that

    offers American favorites like General Tsos Chicken and Sweet-and-sourChicken.

    Ling Ho (Horizon) Offering the full Chinese experience, Ling Ho caters to the

    wealthy. The classy interior features a zen garden, authentic Chinese music and

    all-natural foods made from the finest ingredients imported directly from China.

    Vietnamese:

    Little Bit O Saigon (Aztechnology) A small chain of sit-down restaurantsknown for its very spicy food (scaled from Pinky to Tacnuke).

    Aztlander (Mexican):

    Sun Gods (Evo Corporation) This upscale Aztlander restaurant offers real food

    for the wealthy.

    Baja Azteca (Aztechnology) The result of a 2021 merger of Plaza Azteca, El

    Azteca and Mazatlan combined with the buyout of several Mexican fast food

    chains, Baja Azteca offers American-style Aztlander food at low prices.

    Tinos Chitlins (Ares Macrotechnology) A fairly new Mexican style fast food

    chain that serves late night food at very affordable prices.

    Native American Cuisine:

    Renos (Sioux Nation) A medium-sized restaurant chain that serves Sioux,

    Pueblo, Salish and Tsimishian cuisine, Renos is a wholly owned subsidiary of the

    Sioux Nation and is famous for its vat-grown bear and buffalo.

    The Longhouse (Coastal Salish and Tsimishian Nation Joint Venture) A small

    restaurant chain with 12 locations in Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Eugene and

    Salem that offers traditional Salish and Tsimishian cuisine. Famous for its salmon

    dishes and other seafood.

    Injun Joes (Aztechnology) A fast food chain focusing on seafood and cheapAmerInd dishes at low prices, Injun Joes is most famous for a defamation

    lawsuit brought about by the Coastal Salish due to the restaurants racist name

    and mascot. The suit did little to decrease the chains popularity and may haveactually increased it.

    Seafood:

    Urdus (Saeder-Krupp Heavy Industries) A small chain of sit-down seafood

    restaurants that focuses on Scandinavian style cuisine. Currently the focus of amessy corporate buyout between Saeder-Krupp and EvoCorp. Urdus is famous

    for its mostly Ork and Troll waiting staff and cooks.

    Captain Ahabs (Aztechnology) A medium-sized fast food chain focusing on

    fried fish, shellfish and other seafood.

    The Gray Line (Shiawase) Large restaurant that sits in Puget Sound with a glass

    wall showing underwater during high tide.

    Sports Bars:

    Caf Sport (Ares Macrotechnology) A large chain of sports bars featuring livetrideo broadcasts of most major sports, game areas (both matrix and manual) and

    a pretty good selection of snack foods and reasonably priced synthehol.

    THE Sports Bar (Saeder-Krupp Heavy Industries) A medium-sized restaurant

    advertised as the best sports bar in the Seattle metroplex.

    Tams Under the Needle (Ares Macrotechnology) A small, no-frills, sit-down

    restaurant in the shadow of the Space Needle.

    Luxury and Exotic Dining:

    Elliots (Saeder-Krupp Heavy Industries) A large restaurant that serves French-

    soy cuisine and is famous for its bias against humans.

    Gravity Bar (Shiawase) A medium-sized restaurant that serves Manhattan

    cuisine. Trendy and expensive.

    Icarus Descending (Horizon) A medium-sized restaurant serving high classelven cuisine with known ties to the Triads.

    The Other Place (Aztechnology) The oldest and most popular four star

    restaurant in Seattle, The Other Place is famous for serving awakened plants andanimals and using magic in their cooking. EXTREMELY expensive.

    Knutsons Old Fashioned Faire (Ares Macrotechnology) A medium-sized

    restaurant designed to capitalize on nostalgia for the good old days of the 20th

    century. The walls, floor and ceiling are decorated with memorabilia, and themenu features all-natural cuisine. A famous hangout of Humanis Policlub

    members.

    Big Rhino (Evo Corporation) A large restaurant that features traditional orkand troll cuisine. Hearty portions and strong drinks are the rule. Big Rhino has a

    subtle anti-human bias.

    Miners Landing (Privately Owned) A medium-sized restaurant showcasing

    Seattle historical dinner theater, Miners Landing is one of the rare privately

    owned restaurants in Seattle. Paula Allen, the owner, has resisted attemptedbuyouts from megacorporations and crime syndicates alike.
