ANNUAL SYLLABUS CLASS IX FOR SESSION 2020 – 21
Dear parents
The school aims at making children responsible , productive and useful members of the
society through carefully planned curriculum.
We feel every child is unique and has different abilities. Efforts are made to nurture the
latent abilities of each child .We at school not only evaluate child creative abilities, values
but also to raise the proficiency level of a student .Since the subjects are vast , a regular
practice and consistent study habit can only give a better understanding of the subject. As
this class is the platform for class X boards a continuous vigilance and guidance from the
parents is expected. The academic session will be conducted in two terms.

3. Health and physical education (sports ,swimming & horse riding)
Please note :
1. Atleast 76 %of attendance is required for the child to be able to sit for the
annual exam held at school.
2. It is mandatory to get qualifying grade ie: D in all internal assessment subjects
(art and physical education) otherwise the result will be with held by the school.
3. Regulatory in attending the school is important .Being in touch with the
teacher certainly improves the result. Parents should be able to give
justification for any leave taken by their ward.
We are equally hopeful that students will enjoy this journey of exploring the
higher level of learning .

Swimming is considered a very ancient sport. It is very entertaining. In ancient “YUNAN
ROME”, soldiers were given training . The credit of developing modern swimming goes to
England.

Various steps at riding , that are as follows :
1. Taking fear out of the mind of the child.
2. Second step is mounting and dismounting from the horse.
3. Thirdly, positioning himself or herself by adjusting the leg as to it can handle the
weight of legs and body.
4. Fourthly ,the first step of the horse is walk as the child will initially feel the grip by
sitting on the saddle.
5. Fifthly, the second major step trot as the child will move up and down on the saddle
while the horse is running.
6. Then, it comes to center as this step is taken after the fear from the child’s mind is
gone and the body has loosened up.
7. Lastly ,it is gallop at the horse as when a person becomes totally fit and then only he
can do the art.
