Snorre Field – Installation of pipeline bundle and New Template at Snorre

Equinor and contractor Subsea 7 will, as part of the Snorre Expansion project, launch date is now planned for the 8th July to perform a tow operation of a 7.5km long pipeline bundle (West Bundle) from the bundle fabrication site in Wester, Wick, Scotland to the Snorre Field in the NCS block 34/4 and 34/7. The transport and installation of the pipeline bundle will be performed by the main vessel Seven Arctic + additional support vessels. The West Bundle will be installed between Snorre A, and Template V and W. Central Cormorant UMC – Well Abandonment Operations

TAQA Bratani is conducting well abandonment operations on a number of wells at the Central Cormorant UMC.

The planned operations will consist of abandoning the reservoirs and, where applicable, removing the existing Xmas trees of six wells within the subsea field. The operation will be conducted by the Paragon MSS1 semi-submersible drilling rig, with operations to commence at the start of July 2019 and last until the end of June 2020. The rig will be anchored in a central location (61°11.394’N 01°06.261’E) and move or skid between wells as required. Pre-laying of approximately five anchors will take place ahead of the MSS1 arriving on site. A guard vessel will be stationed at the site during the pre-laying operations prior to the arrival of the rig.

The Paragon MSS1 will be located in the Central Cormorant UMC field UKCS Block 211/21a and 211/26.

Scott Field – Pipeline Works

CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited is undertaking pipeline works in the Scott Field area.

CNOOC are planning a summer campaign of works in the Scott Field to install new pipelines between the Scott Platform and the Scott Field East, West and South water injection manifolds. Initial preparation for these works is planned to commence 7th June and the Seven Atlantic will be present in the field at that time.

Mabel Field – Drilling Operations

The Rowan Gorilla VII is currently on location in Block 16/29e at the Mabel appraisal well 58°05.715’N 01°38.031’E Chrysaor are planning to tow the rig to a drilling location alongside the Armada production platform in Block 22/5b. The tow is expected to commence on the 26th April (at the earliest) and is expected to take approximately 4 hours. The tow vessels are not known at this stage. The operations at the Armada location are expected to last between 170–250 days depending on the final work programme. West Brae 2019 Wells Project – Pipelay and Protection

Marathon Oil is developing a single well tieback extending between the West Brae WPOZ well and the West Brae Extension Manifold. The 6.2km tie-back will be developed via new production and gas lift pipelines and an EHC umbilical. The production from WPOZ will be routed through existing infrastructure at West Brae 9 km to the Brae Alpha Platform.

The earliest start date for lay operations to commence is 15th July. The subsequent rock dump operations are expected to be completed by 20th August. The operations will be undertaken from the following vessels: Seven Arctic CSV, Stornes FFV

Sleipner - Utgard – Installation of new equipment between Sleipner - Utgard

Equinor will in the period 05/03/2019 – 30/09/2019 perform marine subsea activities between Sleipner and Utgard. The Utgard offshore gas condensate field is located in the central North Sea in Block 15/8 of the NCS and Block 16/18a of the UKCS.

In 2018 Equinor installed a template on the Utgard field and this year they will install a new pipeline and umbilical between Utgard and Sleipner. The pipeline and the umbilical will NOT be of an over-trawlable design until the final work is performed in end of September 2019. There will also be wet stored unprotected structures and equipment close to the Utgard template which poses a risk fishing activity. These will be of NON-over-trawlable design.

Pelican Field Programme – Well Abandonment and Intervention Operations

TAQA Bratani is conducting well abandonment and intervention operations on a number of wells within the Pelican field. The planned operations will consist of abandoning the reservoirs and removing the existing Xmas trees of three wells within the subsea field. Operation will be conducted by the Paragon MSS1 semi-submersible drilling rig, with operations to commence on July 12th 2018 and last until the first week of April 2019. Thereafter the rig will commence intervention operations on four wells which are expected to conclude at the end of July 2019. The rig will be anchored in a central location (61°02'00.705"N 1°07'45.057"E) and then skidded between wells as required. The Paragon MSS1 is located in the Pelican field UKCS Block 211/26a. Scolty Crathes Fields – Rigid Pipeline Installation, Diving & Associated Works

EnQuest Heather Ltd intends to undertake Pipeline installation and tie-in works in the Scolty & Crathes Fields to the Kittiwake Platform area commencing 01st May 2019. The workscope comprises of the installation of 2 No replacement pipelines between the Kittiwake Platform to Crathes Drill Centre and the Crathes Drill Centre to Scolty Drill Centre. The pipelines will be laid adjacent to the existing pipelines and will be trenched and backfilled with additional rock dump installed at various locations along the route. A survey vessel will also be in Field to support the pipelay and trenching vessels. On completion of the pipelay activities, a Dive Support Vessel will perform the disconnection of the existing pipeline and the tie-in on the new replacement pipeline. The DSV will be positioned at the Crathes Drill Centre, Scolty Drill Centre and Kittiwake Platform 500m zone during the tie-in activities. Aspen – Exploration Well Operations

Eni UK Ltd is planning to drill the ASPEN Exploration Well, located in UKCS Block 53/14 in the Southern North Sea. Drilling operations will be undertaken by the Ensco 101 heavy duty jack-up rig. Eni UK Ltd is planning to tow the Ensco 101 rig to the Exploration Well location on the 1st August 2019. The towing operations are expected to take approximately 3 days with the rig due on location on the 5th August 2019. The drilling operations are anticipated to last a maximum of 150 days and the latest end date for the drilling operations is anticipated to be 31st October 2019. Pickerill B Installation 48/11a & A Installation 48/11b– Decommissioning Works

The Energy Endeavour Jack-up Barge is currently in the Pickerill Field 48/11 in the Southern North Sea) supporting the Pickerill B Platform Decommissioning Works. The Energy Endeavour is planning to leave the Pickerill B Platform and move to the Pickerill A Platform within the Pickerill Field.

The sail from the Pickerill B platform to the Pickerill A platform is anticipated to commence at 02:00 hours on the 8 July 2019 and take approximately 2-3 hours, with the Jack-Up barge due on location at an estimated time of 05:00 hours on the 8 July 2019.

The Jack-Up Barge will be towed into the stand-off position (75m from platform), it will then jack-up and run anchors, and then finally jack-down and be pulled into its final position approx.1.5m adjacent to the Pickerill A gas platform using the anchor wires.

The barge will support the decommissioning activities on the platform. These activities will include: plugging and abandonment of the platform wells, venting and purging of the topsides equipment, cleaning and flushing of the subsea pipelines, preparation of the installation for removal, and supporting the decommissioning of Neptune’s Juliet subsea completion which ties into the Pickerill A platform.

The earliest date for commencement of the works is 9 July 2019. The works on Pickerill A are expected to last until Jan /Feb 2020.

Markham Gas Field – ST-1 Platform Decommissioning

Spirit Energy can now confirm that the Seaway Strashnov entered the ST-1 500m Sunday 16th June to start the work to remove the ST-1 platform. The removal operations are expected to take approximately 10 days with the removal window until the 31st July 2019. Following the removal, a debris clearance and overtrawl survey will be undertaken, earliest scheduled 21st July 2019. The mobilisation of the Seaway Strashnov is now scheduled for the 10th June with the vessel arriving in the field estimated to be the 12th June. There is a two week window, which would take the infield date until 26th June. Curlew Field – Drilling Operations

Holyhead Deep – Deployment of Scientific Moorings

As part of a Bangor University research project we are aiming to deploy a seabed scientific instrument mooring system during July within the Holyhead Deep area leased to Minesto UK Ltd. at a depth of ~ 85 m, which will then likely be recovered in October.

This seabed mooring has no sea surface presence, but presents a snagging risk for benthic static and towed gear. The mooring system consists of three seabed elements in a row connected by x2 steel ground lines 400m in total 200m 200m. Positions below.
