• Repairs may be carried out only bySchneider Druckluft GmbH or its approvedservice partners.
• Prohibited: manipulation, inappropriateuse, temporary repairs, use of other ener-gy sources, removal or use of damagedsafety equipment, operating a leaking ormalfunctioning system, use of non-originalspare parts, exceeding the permittedworking pressure specified (max. + 10%),working without protective equipment,transporting / maintaining / repairing orleaving a pressurised machine unattended,using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Prohibited: Using other tools; touchingrotating parts.
• Prohibited: Uncontrolled tightening ofscrews/nuts or unscrewing/tightening withexcessive force, the use of chrome-plated/ faulty socket spanners
2.4 CommissioningBefore start-up:1. Observe technical data, figures, item
numbers, intended use and safety in-structions
(see Instruction manual, Part 1, Chap-ter: "Technical data" and the "Intend-ed use" chapter).
2. Carry out a visual inspection.3. Do not use below 5° C.4. If supplied separately: attach plug nip-
ples (item 01).5. Insert socket spanner via retaining ring
(item 06) or retaining ball (item 07) asfar as the stop on the drive shaft(item 05).
6. Check that the socket spanner is seatedsecurely on the drive shaft (item 05).
Compressed air connection:1. Install an upstream maintenance unit
with filter pressure reducer and mist oil-er.
2. Press the quick-action coupling of the airhose onto the plug nipple (item 01)(Figure 1a).
Operation:1. Set the required direction of rotation
(item 04) as shown in Fig. 2a.2. Place the impact wrench / ratchet screw-
driver with socket spanner on the screw/ nut.
3. Press the trigger lever (item 02).4. Adjust the torque via the air regulation
(item 03) shown in Fig. 3a.
After use:1. Disconnect the quick-action coupling
from the plug nipple (item 01)(Figure 1b).
2. Remove the socket spanner.3. Clean and store the device in dry condi-
tion

Avoid or pay close attention.
NOTE
Soft materials may become damagedAvoid excessive tightening of screws andmaterials!Pay attention to the speed of the machineand read the chapter "Technical data"!

Apply oil via a maintenance unit with a mistoiler.Without mist oiler: oil daily by hand via theplug nipple (item 01).For long breaks in operation, also oil viaplug nipple (item 01) using special oil forcompressed air tools.

Impact wrenchImpact mechanism lubrication2-3 times a year with oil / grease:1. If fitted:
Loosen the oil filler screw (item 09).2. Fill with approx. 5-10 drops of oil.3. Tighten the oil filler screw.Alternatively:1. Loosen the screws (item 13) and open
the housing (item 08) as shown inFig. 4a.
2. Remove the impact mechanism(Fig. 4b).
3. Lubricate the impact mechanism with oil/ grease (Fig. 4c).
4. Fit the impact mechanism in reverse or-der. Close the housing (item 08) and tightenthe screws (item 13).
Ratchet screwdriver lubrication 2-3times a year with oil:1. If fitted:
Lift the rubber protection (item 12).2. Lubricate the drive bush, drive shaft and
ratchet drive housing through the re-cesses in the front of the machine or thevia the switch-over button (item 04) asshown in Fig. 5a.
2.6 DecommissioningStorage: Clean, dry, dust-free, not below5° C.Disposal: Dispose of the packaging / device/ materials used according to applicable legalregulations.
