Prophecy Unsealed
Mark your calendars and plan to attend the exciting evangelistic series,
Prophecy Unsealed, February 17 through March 17 here in the sanctuary.
Pastor Brian McMahon will unpack many prophetic symbols in the Bible
and what they represent. He will answer questions about life after death, and
the truth about the rapture, what role does the United States play in Bible
prophecy, and many more. The opening night’s program is entitled
“Unlocking Revelation’s Mysteries” and a special program is planned for
children ages 5-12. Meetings will begin at 7:00 PM.
Volunteers needed for Prophecy Unsealed Meetings Feb 17 – March 17
If you are mission-minded and would like to volunteer for the upcoming
meetings, we are looking for members to fill the following positions.
Assistant to the Speaker (Right Hand Person) - Help and assist speaker
Literature Coordinator - For duplicating and collating nightly materials
Sanctuary Decorator - Responsible for flowers
Data Entry - Good typing skills and some computer experience needed
Head Greeter - Organize nightly greeters
Photograph - Responsible for taking pictures throughout seminar

Prophecy Unsealed Children’s Program
Our upcoming seminar Prophecy Unsealed is almost here. We will be
meeting new people and providing them with great news about our Lord.
The Children’s Ministry will be providing a children’s program for families
with children ages 5 – 12 during these meetings. The children’s program will
provide various activities as well as prayer time and Bible stories. If you are
willing to assist for any (or more) evenings during the seminar, please sign
up in the foyer or contact Donna Clifford at [email protected] or
call 541-784-5651. Thank you and blessings as you choose to minister to our
children!
Associate Pastor Search The Search Committee is working on choosing an associate pastor to
recommend to the Conference. Please pray God will bring just the right
person to fill this important position.
Baby Shower
Ed and Linda Wagner invite our church family (women AND men) to a baby
shower for Kim, Eric and baby girl Wagner at 3 PM on Sunday, February 11

School News
February 9, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
STEM based Winter Olympic activities for students and their families in
grades Pre-K to second. We will be celebrating the Winter Olympics with
fun hands-on activities and games.
Sister Church Events
Larren Cole will be presenting a program on “Red Letters: Analyzing Direct
Quotes from God” on Sabbath afternoon Feb 3rd at 2:30 PM at the Rogue
River Adventist Church, 4300 North River Road 541-582-1262.
2018 Bible / Spirit of Prophecy Reading Program
Copies of this year’s reading program are available in the foyer and the
church office during the week. This study will enrich your relationship with
Jesus, so please join us. If you have any questions or need a book that is
compatible with the study, please contact Donna Griffith.
Soccer
If you would like to play a wholesome and fun game of soccer this Sunday,
please come to the school gym at 5:00 PM with your shin guards and lots of
energy. Players must be 13 or older. For more information, please contact

Church Library
The Pastor has challenged us to be in the Word daily. For anyone wishing to
listen to the Bible, the church library has two sets of the Bible on CD.
Dorcas
Many in the community of Grants Pass are blessed with food and clothing
that are distributed from our center. Volunteers are needed to serve in the
operation of various stations. It would be greatly appreciated if you could
give of your time and /or to donate the following items especially now
during the winter months, we need gloves, plastic grocery bags, raincoats,
jackets, blankets, tents and sleeping bags. We no longer need egg cartons.

Church Choir Calling all singers! Do you like to make a joyful noise to the Lord? Have
you ever sung with a choir before or wished you could sing with one? The
Grants Pass Church is starting a new choir for everyone ages 12 and older
who want to participate in the worship service by lifting their voices in
praise. If you would like to join our singing family, the first meeting will be
held in the GPSDA Church sanctuary from 5-6 PM on Sunday, February 11,
2018. Bring a bottle of water, a cheerful spirit, your singing voice, and a
friend. We look forward to meeting with you and praising the Lord
