3. Find the CW folder, right click on it and choose Share With and choose Specific People.

4. From the drop-down list, choose Everyone and click Add. Then change the permission level to Read/Write and click the Share button. 5. This will share the folder so Everyone has full permissions to the folder.

At this time, you need to configure the Windows Firewall* on the server to allow the workstations to access the SQL services. Here is what you need to do: *These instructions are for the Windows Firewall. If you are using a different Firewall, you will need to configure the same exceptions used in the instructions below. Click the Windows Start button and type Allow and

then click on Allow a Program through the Windows Firewall.

Click on the Allow another program button (if it is grayed out, you will need to click on the Change

settings button to activate it).

The Add a Program box comes up – click on Browse.

Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared and select the sqlbrowser application file and click Open.

This will put the sqlbrowser application in the list – click Add.

This will put SQL Browser Server EXE in the list – make sure all of your Firewalls are checked (up to 3). Then, click Allow another program to add the second exception.

Click the Browse button and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL. Server\MSSQL11.CHURCHWINDOWS\MSSQL\Binn and select the Sqlservr application and click Open.

This will Add the Sqlservr application – click Add.

Make sure all of your Firewalls are selected (up to 3) and click OK to close.
