Setting Ringtones, Email Tones, and SMS Tones

1. Touch Apps > Settings > Sound.

3. Touch the desired ringtone and touch OK.

2. Touch Device ringtone.

Setting a Ringtone

Setting a Notification Sound for EmailAfter you add your email account to the phone, you can select a specific sound that will notify you when a new email is received.

1. Touch Apps > Email.

3. Touch General preferences or the name of the account to be edited. Scroll to Notification settings.

5. Select the desired sound and touch OK.

2. Touch Menu key > Settings.

4. Touch the checkbox next to Email Notifications to turn on notifications. Touch Select ringtone.

Note: If volume is muted, the Ringtone option will be grayed out.

Setting a Notification Sound for SMSYou can select a specific sound that will notify you when a new text message is received.

1. Touch Messaging. 3. Scroll to Notification settings.

5. Select the desired sound and touch OK.

2. Touch Menu key > Settings

4. Touch the checkbox next to Notifications to turn on notifications. Touch Select Ringtone.

Note: If volume is muted, the Ringtone option will be grayed out.
