Bad for you because:

• Decreases your ownership of, and sense of responsibility for, your work

• Diminishes your reliability in the eyes of others –less likely to be given important tasks

Bad for the team because:

• Inconsistent attendees usually produce later, poorer quality work – extra effort needed by other team members

• Greater likelihood of miscommunication, leading to project mismanagement

committee must then hold a minimum of 3

meetings per calendar month
