TORNADO or TWISTER system

This system allows current work practices to be carried out in the same way, but has the added safety feature of auto locking if accidentally released.

A long standing problem with descenders has been the ability to create variable friction for different descent conditions, but to also provide additional safety in the event of misuse.

Our patented DuoBrake™ system has a unique upper bobbin that increases the braking force provided by the user.

The most effective and controllable double action rescue descender on the market.

Patented secondary braking mechanism of the POWERLOCK increases the force applied by the operator and provides a damping effect when the braking cam is released. This allows 2 person loading without requiring extra karabiners.

Fine descent control with minimal “GO” position for maximum safety. The tail rope can be pulled back through the device if needed, allowing the device to move back-up an unloaded rope.

Emergency First Aid at Height EFAW - 1 day (ref: TSK6U)First Aid course for nominated Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW individuals or businesses who manage fi rst aid requirements for work sites or offi ces. Covering all skills necessary, ranging from initial survey, AED, administering fi rst aid through to recording accidents in the workplace.

Managing Work at Height- 2 days (ref: TFP2M)For managers, supervisors and specifi ers who are required to create, implement and maintain a safe system for work at height. Includes intro to the Use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment (WAHSA), introto Work at Height with additional material relating to managing work at height, including inspection requirements for PPE, emergency planning and work restraint methods, work positioning and fall arrest.

We can individually mark our equipment in accordance with a client’s own ID scheme. Using laser marking for devices, fabric labels for soft goods such as harnesses, ropes etc or RFID emitter technology on virtually any item of PPE.

This can also be aligned with our inspection services, where we can inspect and fi t emitters at the same time if required. This can then be uploaded direct to the Certra™ system.
