9:00am to 11:00am Jurisdiction B and Jurisdiction D DME MAC – LATEST UPDATES AND HOT TOPICS: Terri Shoup-Zych, Jur B, CGS Administrators and Lu Newell, Jur D, Noridian Healthcare Solutions. There is so much going on in Medicare and it becomes a challenge to keep up with all the changes. Hear the latest updates from Jurisdiction B DME MAC, CGS, and Noridian on what’s new in Medicare. Then have an opportunity to dive in deep in the problematic areas with Medi-care policies and go in depth on topics such as documentation, TPE audits, complex policies, etc.

Terri Shoup-Zych, CGS Administrators: Terri is a Provider Outreach & Education Sr. Analyst and joined the CGS Jurisdiction B POE team in February 2017. She serves as the community coach for JB DMEPOS suppliers located in Minnesota and Wiscon-sin. Terri has been involved in the Medicare program for more than 12 years in various roles, including Customer Service Team Lead, EDI Consultant, and Provider Outreach and Education Consultant.

Lu Newell, Noridian Healthcare Services: Lu is a Provider Education Representative I. She has worked for Noridian Health-care Services for over 9 years holding a variety of positions including, Redeterminations Examiner II in Medicare Part B and DME, Telephone Reopening Representative, and Administrative Law Judge Specialist.As an Education Representative, Lu is responsible for offering support to Noridian’s supplier community by creating and pre-senting training courses involving detailed billing, coding, and coverage guidelines to ensure correct claim submission result-ing in proper Medicare DMEPOS payments.
