Masaryk University Career Centre

Ladies and gentlemen,

Masaryk University Career Centre represents an innovative workplace which connects university students to leading companies in the Czech Republic. Our centre is dedicated to helping employers recruit qualified undergraduate, graduate students and alumni for full and part-time employment and internships.

In order to facilitate a recruitment process of professionals from MU the Career Centre offers a wide range of recruiting services – such as building employer´s brand at the university, providing new contacts via personal meetings with students, and targeted advertising. The Career Centre team coordinates a pre-selection of suitable candidates for job placement according to individual requirements of employers. Through individual career counselling and properly designed system of training we help students to make informed choices about their future career. Through these activities we create many opportunities to connect you to desired candidates.

Masaryk University is the second biggest university in the Czech Republic with almost 40 000 students studying in over 1 000 fields of study.


Our activities

JobAcademy is an educational platform of the Career Centre that is focused on the career development of the MU students. Its activities range from the individual career counselling, interactive conference, lectures on self-development, workshops, training, and networking events. Join the project as a lecturer, partner or supporter.

JobChallenge is a career fair organized jointly by Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, and Mendel University. Every year it has an attendance of over 3 000 university students and graduates. In the year 2015 it will be the 9th edition of the fair. Participation opportunities for employers:

Self-Development conference JobAcademy (Hotel Continental, Brno): • Once a spring semester ─ 400 students attended

Group Development Program JobAcademy Profi (focused on issues connected to career planning, CV and a cover letter writing etc.) : • Once a spring semester, once a winter semester ─ 400 students attended

Educational project Human Resources Management from the Inside: • Once a spring semester ─ 300 students attended

JobAcademy web • 2019 student profi les created up to 17th October 2014

Exhibition stand with the size and position of your choice.

Presentation of the company in the form of lecture or workshop as one of the accompanying events (time allowance: 60 min, capacity approx. 40 places).

CV AND COVER LETTER SCREENING ACCORDING TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS

We screen CVs of all the applicants and we provide the list of all suitable candidates with their CVs, cover letters and their permission to use the personal data.

INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEWS BASED ON ANALYZING REQUIRED COMPENTENCES

(company representative can be present) We provide:

• A written report on recommended candidates including their description and analysis of their behavior and answers at the interview (1 000 characters).

• A video recording answers, reactions, and behavior of recommended candidates during the interview (length upon request).

PERSONALITY TESTING OF SELECTED CANDIDATES

We provide a fi nal report describing character features of candidates (type of their personality, concentration, precision, and their ability to cope with stress; 1000 characters)

ASSESSMENT CENTRE

We provide a fi nal report about candidates including:

• complete behavior analysis,• achieved level of competences,• determination of personality strengths and weaknesses, • prediction of behavior at work and recommendation for further development.

(report length up to 1 000 characters + evaluated results from personality testing)
