Enough: Discovering Joy through Simplicity and Generosity
Sunday evenings at 5 pm, beginning today
Join Dr. Lentz and Clayton Minder (chair of the Stewardship Ministry) as they lead a
congregational study of the curriculum written by the Rev. Adam Hamilton. Together we will
have a courageous conversation about money – how it can be a source of great good, but also a
source of all-encompassing misery. The program will be held Sunday evening from 5 – 7 pm,
April 22 – May 27. The cost is $10 (for a book, and to help defray the cost of the DVD
curriculum). Contact the office by April 12 to reserve your place.

Report from the Haiti Team
On April 15, we visited one of the new Eco-Villages being built for Haitians who lost everything,
including their way of life, in the earthquake at Port-au-Prince in 2010. The Presbyterian
Hunger Program is helping the Papaye Peasant Movement (MPP), a 37-year-old Haitian-led
grass-roots farming cooperative, train earthquake refugees to farm and sustain themselves in
small villages. What these people are doing is transforming for them and for agrarian life in that
region of Haiti.
This is something the FHC Haiti Mission Team will report on in more depth later. For a short
article and some pictures, see the FHC website (www.fhcpresb.org)

÷ ÷ ÷ The Lessons Next Sunday: Acts 4: 5-12; Psalm 23; 1 John 3: 16-34; John 10: 11-18. As part of your daily
devotions, read the lessons. What image or word catches your attention? How do they settle
or challenge you? Keep notes of your observations in a journal. Set aside part of each day for
prayer and study.
