What is a Machine Capability Test?
During the measuring process, it is important to
prevent any disturbing influences such as vibrations,
temperature fluctuations, light fluctuations, etc.
›The machine capability test proves if the machine meets one or more of the specified criteria.
› In case of EKRA printing systems the most important specified criteria is alignment repeatability.
›To measure the alignment repeatability an external measurement system is used.
›The accuracy of the external measurement system is benchmarking the accuracy of the tested system.
