It is not surprising that John Wayne Gacy was admired and liked by most who had known him, because he was a businessman who had spent his free

time elaborating parties for friends, dressing as a clown and entertaining

children at hospitals from Chicago. However, there was another side to Gacy that few had ever witnessed…

One night Jeffrey Ringall was in a popular area of Chicago, full of discos and pubs. But when he was walking through the area,

his path was blocked by a black car. The driver asked him if he

wanted a cigarette and he accepted, but it was marijuana!

Page 10: Serial Killers

Quickly the stranger shoved his face with chloroform and Jeffrey

lost consciousness. The next morning Ringall awoke under a statue in Lincoln Park. He made his way to the hospital, where

he stayed for six days.

Page 11: Serial Killers

He reported the incident to the police, giving them the little

information that he could provide. Along with skin

lacerations, burns and damage caused from the chloroform,

Ringall suffered severe emotional trauma.

But he was fortunate to be alive, because he was one of the few victims of Wayne Gacy to have

survived. During a three year period, Gacy went on to viciously torture, rape and murder more than thirty

other man, who were later discovered under the floorboards of

his home and in the local river.
