Historical peninsula is one of the main location in Istanbul. Also EYUP district has a very big influence on the past era

of this area.

A place where religions, business, industry, ed-ucation become together. These are all key facts either for who lives or who does not live in

there.

Very sensitive user pro-files and commons are musts of the design con-

siderations.

Multitype housings are forced by monotypes now-adays in all metropols.

Possibility of living a different life by our perspective but having a community and neigh-bourhoods are require-ments of big cities such

as Istanbul.

Old ındustrial new hous-ing town Z.burnu has a good opportunity to hold both these together.

How hard could be to de-sign a residential space without an enviroment when human lifes belong

to it.

How matter a shape of a building during these working process or where to start especially the place is a neverland.

“Policitta” project was a timeline to understand all these questions and only thing given was a full “zero” empty paper.

People and water rela-tions are the most cer-tain facts since we ex-ist. Early mediterranean cities in the history are big proof for this.

Marines are the place where people might ex-perience both water and

settled life.

Waves have been the in-spirations to gather up the towners with their touching points such as housing, commercial, sport events and dining.

Soundscape: Enviroment, Space & Listening

Observation is the main experimental way of our life when we use a space.

Sounds are design ex-pletive elements that we should consider in our designs to understand

architecture.

AUGUST 2014

What defines a neighbor-hood? People and their relationships to each other for us. A neigh-borhood is created in the space between the

builtform.

“Flexibility” was the concept of process. Things that fixed now move, things that moved

are now fixed...

POLITECNICODI MILANOPhotography of Architecture

SPRING 2013

Life has its own rhythm in any day. It always catches us when we walk, breathe, write, eat, talk and live. That is because Architecture and elements of it may not be thought without rhythms.

Windows are our life’s reflections at the first sight on a wall. So they shall show our life rhythms and improve-

ments.

Let us take a look how these rhythms are changed

by time in Milano.
