Field Conservator, Acemhyk Excavations, Aksaray, Turkey; 2009-11. Restoration and conservation of Assyrian Trading Colonies Period ceramic and metal objects of ongoing seasons.

Primarily responsible for the cleaning and conservation of coins, the conservation
of various bronze objects (including an intact Byzantine jug and basin), the
restoration of pottery vessels, and the lifting and conservation of organic
materials (leather, textile, gold thread and wooden beams); also worked on the
cleaning and conservation of various iron objects (including arrow heads, javelin
heads, knifes, nails, buckles, etc).

Intership at restoration of a relief water fountain found at Mersin, in order to
move it to a new location; Participated in the Hierapolis Excavations in Denizli, by
working on the lifting and consolidation of bones, the restoration of pottery
vessels, the cleaning of inscription, the cleaning and integration of columns;
worked on the conservation of an Ottoman manuscript decree, permission
document and cardboard decree box, Late Ottoman period tile stove, Ottoman
leather handbag, and pithos.
