During 5776 (2015-2016) we will dedicate our Rosh Chodesh events to a new and original look at the Tribes of Israel.
Cheshvan will focus on the character of Reuven, the firstborn brother, an examination of the Biblical story of the Tribe of Reuven and the status of the firstborn in Hassidic courts.

Children Write a Story
A Personal Book Writing Workshop
In this workshop, the children will embark on an adventure through imagination, create stories and characters, get to know children’s authors and illustrators and draw inspiration from them to create our own personal books.
Children will learn how to write a story using different mediums such as costumes and accessories, music, movement, photo albums and more. Each child will express their story in writing and create accompanying drawings and illustrations.
During the workshop there will be an experiential session with author Eshkol Nevo and children’s author and poet Orit Gidali, in which they will talk about the writing and illustration process in their books.
At the end of the workshop there will be a celebratory evening for the children and their families, at which the books created will be on display.
Keren is a costume designer for cinema and television and moderates writing workshops as part of Eshkol Nevo and Orit Gidali’s own workshops team.
Admission: 250 NIS
The workshop includes 10 sessions of an hour and a half each
