Today is Therapeutic Thursday! This is a weekly tradition by which we celebrate the approaching weekend by writing about whatever we want! You may choose to write about whatever is on your mind (no profanity and keep it “PG”). Just be sure to write in full sentences (no repeating one word or phrase over and over) and make it a 1/2 a page.

*As you read, a list will be circulating. Please write down the book you are reading and will be using for your project. Also write down which project you are choosing to complete for this nine weeks.

Identify the verb phrases in each of the following sentences. Do not write the whole sentence. Just write down the verb phrase and label each verb as “L” for “Linking”, “A” for “Action”, or “H” for helping.

Give your opinion! If there is a movie version of a book, should one just skip reading the book and watch the movie? Explain using examples to support your claim. Also, what if there is a shortened version of the book (abridged)? Is reading the shortened version just as good? Explain why or why not? Finally, is reading important after you get out of high school? Explain why or why not.
