PRELUDE

GATHERING SONG Testify Lindsay & Emily Stanfield

Give me your heart give me your song

sing it with all your might

Come to the fountain

and you can be satisfied

There is a peace, there is a love

you can get lost inside

Come to the fountain and

let me hear you testify

Into the wild canyons of youth

Oh, there's a world to fall into

Weightless we'll dance like kids on the moon

Oh, I will give myself to you

As soon as you start to let go

Give me your heart give me your song

Sing it with all your might

Come to the fountain and

You can be satisfied

There is a peace, there is a love

you can get lost inside

Come to the fountain and

let me hear you testify

Wave after wave

as deep calls to deep

Oh, I'll reveal my mystery

As soon as you start to let go

Give me your heart give me your song

Sing it with all your might

Come to the fountain and

You can be satisfied

There is a peace, there is a love

you can get lost inside

Come to the fountain

and let me hear you testify

There is a peace, there is a love

you can get lost inside

Come to the fountain

and let me hear you testify

WELCOME AND OPENING PRAYER

ANNOUNCEMENTS

*HYMN Praise to the Lord, the Almighty (v 1,3,5) UMH 139

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!

O my soul, praise him, for he is thy health and salvation!

All ye who hear, now to his temple draw near;

join me in glad adoration!

Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;

surely his goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.

Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,

who with his love doth befriend thee.

Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!

All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before him!

Let the amen sound from his people again;

gladly forever adore him.

CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader: The spirit of God calls us from many places; some of us come from busy

homes with many people, some of us live alone.

Congregation: We are a part of the family.

Leader: This week has been different for each of us; some of us have had happy

news we want to celebrate, some of us have faced grief and need to cry.

Congregation: We are members of God’s family.

Leader: Yet we all come to this same place; all of us seeking God’s presence in our

lives, all of us seeking God’s presence with each other.

Congregation: Together we become God’s family. AMEN.

APOSTLES CREED UMH 881

*HYMN Glory Be to the Father UMH 70

Glory be to the Father and to the son and to the Holy ghost;

as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,

world without end. Amen. Amen.

*SONG OF PRAISE He Reigns Praise Team

It's the song of the redeemed

rising from the African plain

It's the song of the forgiven

drowning out the Amazon rain

The song of Asian believers

Filled with God's holy fire

It's every tribe, every tongue, every nation

A love song born of a grateful choir

It's all God's children singing

Glory, glory, hallelujah

He reigns, He reigns

It's all God's children singing

Glory, glory, hallelujah

He reigns, He reigns

Let it rise above the four winds

Caught up in the heavenly sound

Let praises echo from the towers of cathedrals

To the faithful gathered underground

Of all the songs sung from the dawn of creation

Some were meant to persist

Of all the bells rung from a thousand steeples

None rings truer than this

It's all God's children singing

Glory, glory, hallelujah

He reigns, He reigns

It's all God's children singing

Glory, glory, hallelujah

He reigns, He reigns

And all the powers of darkness

Tremble at what they've just heard

'Cause all the powers of darkness

Can't drown out a single word

When all God's children sing out

Glory, glory, hallelujah

He reigns, He reigns (He reigns)

All God's children sing out

Glory, glory, hallelujah

He reigns, He reigns (He reigns)

All God's people singing

Glory, glory, hallelujah (every child)

He reigns, He reigns (hallelujah, hallelujah)

It's all God's people singing

Glory, glory, hallelujah (every child)

He reigns, He reigns, yeah (hallelujah, hallelujah)

SONG OF PRAISE Wonder Praise Team

Have you ever seen the wonder

In the glimmer of first sight

As the eyes begin to open

And the blindness meets the light

If you have so say

I see the world in light

I see the world in wonder

I see the world in life

Bursting in living color

I see the world Your way

And I'm walking in the light

Have you ever seen the wonder

In the air of second life

Having come out of the waters

With the old one left behind

If you have so say

I see the world in light

I see the world in wonder

I see the world in life

Bursting in living color

I see the world Your way

And I'm walking in the light

I see the world in grace

I see the world in gospel

I see the world Your way

And I'm walking in the light

I'm walking in the wonder

You're the wonder in the wild

Turning wilderness to wonder

If You have so say

I see the world in love

I see the world in freedom

I see the Jesus way

You're the wonder in the wild

I see the world Your way

And I'm not afraid to follow

I see the world Your way

And I'm not ashamed to say so

I see the Jesus way

And I'm walking in the light

I see the world in light

I see the world in wonder

I see the world in life

Bursting in living color

I see the world Your way

And I'm walking in the light

Ooh, I say, I see the world in grace

I see the world in gospel

I see the world Your way

And I'm walking in the light

I'm walking in the wonder

You're the wonder in the wild

Wilderness to wonder

Well, I say, I see the world in love

I see the world in freedom

I see the Jesus way

You're the wonder in the wild

*HYMN Leaning on the Everlasting Arms UMH 133 72

What a fellowship,

what a joy divine,

leaning on the everlasting arms;

what a blessedness,

what a peace is mine,

leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning,

safe and secure from all alarms;

leaning, leaning,

leaning on the everlasting arms.

O how sweet to walk

in this pilgrim way,

leaning on the everlasting arms;

O how bright the path

grows from day to day,

leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning,

safe and secure from all alarms;

leaning, leaning,

leaning on the everlasting arms.

What have I to dread,

what have I to fear,

leaning on the everlasting arms?

I have blessed peace

with my Lord so near,

leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning,

safe and secure from all alarms;

leaning, leaning,

leaning on the everlasting arms.
