Welcome to our Worship Service. Thank you for worshipping with us today. We enjoy meeting new friends and as friends, we would like to know more about you. Please take a moment and fill out our registration form located along the lower right corner of this bulletin. Please complete both the front and back sections and place it in the offering plate when passed to you. If you would like more information about our fellowship, please check the appropri-ate box and we will be glad to contact you to provide the information you re-quest. You may join our fellowship simply by coming forward during the invi-tation hymn or by contacting our Pastor. Usually, people join by: (1) confess-ing Christ as their Savior, followed by emersion baptism; (2) transfer of church membership from a sister church; or (3) by statement of faith in Christ and a previous baptism by emersion. Our Nursery is staffed with personnel who love children and have undergone background checks. Children’s worship is offered for child(ren) ages 4-10. Your child(ren) will be asked to line up at the door. After the service, you may pick up your child(ren) in the room next to the library. The Kennedy Children’s Home in Kinston will once again be having their work day on Saturday, September 15th. Registration is from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Projects go from 9am to noon. Please be at the church by 7:15 a.m. the church van will be leaving at 7:30 a.m. Lunch is served at noon and optional tours are available afterwards. If you are interested in helping with this ministry contact Doug Robbins, our Brotherhood Director, at 252-726-8818.

One of Cherry Point Baptist’s on-going local Mission projects is the Bridge - connecting neighbors with our church! The Bridge sponsors Loaves and Fishes feeding ministry every Tuesday night at 6PM. In addition The Bridge sponsors a “Life Skills” ministry helping our neighbors with resume building, job searches and financial management. The Bridge is also the arm of Cherry Point Baptist Churches Benevolence Ministry. Through a screening process the Benevolence Committee awards family in financial need with limited help. Please consider giving to help our local community three ways-- 1. Use an envelope found in pew 2. Use a card found in pew for a recurring monthly gift or 3.
