Get to Know Our New Youth Minister! Hello all! As most of you know, my name is Paul Wisdom, Jr. I grew up not far from here in Smyrna, TN, where I attended the Highland Heights church of Christ. I am the oldest of three children. I have a younger brother, Evan, and a younger sister, Elizabeth. I attended Ezell Harding Christian through my junior year, then moved to Mid-dle Tennessee Christian for my senior year. I graduated in May from Heritage Christian University, where I received a B.A. in Bible with an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministry. While I was in school, I worked, as the youth minister, with two congregations, Oakland church of Christ and Bethel Berry church of Christ. My passion is working with young people and I am SUPER excited to be able to work with everyone here at North View. It has been truly uplifting being able to spend some time with you all and I can’t wait to be there with you full time. Parents, I want you to know that I plan to do the best I can and give my all to the spiritual growth of your children. Teens, while we will focus

Meals on Wheels
Thank You!
Thanks to Bro. Roy Head
for volunteering to help
with the Meals on Wheels
effort! In addition, we still
need volunteers who could
fill in on an “as needed”
basis. These individuals
will have a support role
and will only be called
when one of the regular
volunteers is out of town
or unable to make a deliv-
ery that week.
Please contact Waynese
Hardison if you are inter-
ested in this good work.
Remember In Prayer
Our Prayer List
Marty Tyree is awaiting kidney surgery at the end of the month. In the mean-
time, his pain is now controlled through medication.
Joe Butt, uncle of Jeremy Butt, is in Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga recovering
from heart valve repair and by-pass surgery, after discovering he had a mitro
valve prolapse. He has had some post surgery heart rhythm issues. Please pray
for a speedy recovery.
Darrell Brown is waiting for MRI results of his recent brain scan.
Please pray for Blake and Crystal Parsons, family of Lori Worley’s coworker.
Blake is at Vanderbilt Burn Center due to an accident last weekend with a lawn
mower. Also, they are due to have their 2nd child in 6 to 8 weeks. The baby has
development problems that will probably require surgery as soon as he/she is
born. They are trying to allow the pregnancy to continue as close to the due
date as possible.
Ocena Thurston, friend of Jeremy Butt, is scheduled for eye surgery on
September 20 in Little Rock. Please pray for a rapid recovery.
Sympathy
We extend our sympathy to Janae (Cook) Lawrence in the death of her grand-
mother, Janice Owen (Nanny). Cards may be sent to the Lawrence Family at:
51 Alexandria Hwy., Brush Creek, TN 38547.

Eastern European Mission-Million Dollar Sunday-September 25
God has opened doors in Ukraine, Croatia and Romania to not just
give the Bible, but to teach His Word to children in public schools.
School leaders and administrators are requesting more Bibles and
biblical literature from EEM.
This year EEM hopes to place Bibles and biblical literature in Ukraine,
Romania, and Croatia. ...with God all things are possible. And with God’s
help and yours on Million Dollar Sunday, we will turn the impossible
dream into a reality in Eastern Europe.
The elders request that checks not be earmarked. They will donate all funds
over the budget to Eastern European Missions for this effort.
