glorious example of sus-tainable and eco-friendly tourism in India. Moreover Jatayu sculpture stands as a guardian to the hills and rocks by protecting them from mining One of the biggest chal-lenges for the project was the uninterrupted availabil-ity of water source. After thorough analysis of the landscape, a check dam was constructed between two rock valleys with a ca-pacity of twenty lakhs liters for water conservation. The water scarcity issue was thus solved by collecting and storing rainwater and using it throughout the year. The ready availabil-ity of water enriched the

flora of the place. The electricity required for the smooth functioning of the Jatayu Earth Center is domestically harnessed from solar power. Thus Jatayu Earth Center is conceptualized and implemented with envi-ronmental protection and ecological equilibrium.

CHRONICLES OF DEPARTMENT

Jatayu Earth Center, also known as Jatayu Nature Park or Jatayu Rock, is a park and tourism center at Chadayamangalam in Kerala. It stands at an altitude of 350m (1200ft) above mean sea level. Jatayu Nature Park holds the distinction of having the world’s largest bird sculpture (200 feet (61 m) long, 150 feet (46 m) broad, 70 feet (21 m) in height and having 15,000 square feet (1,400 m2) of floor area) of the great bird Jatayu. ALUMNI

Mr. Bhavesh Parmar ( BATCH-2015-2019) He has cleared SSB inter-view and got recommended from 20SSB Bhopal for INDI-AN ARMY as a commissioned officer through SSC(TECH)-54 entry and will be induct-ed as Lieutenant. This is a significant accomplishment that un-doubtedly required the ded-ication and hardwork. We congrats him on his success and send our best wishes for the future.

Where in the world can you find a building with 1000 doors? South Korean art-ist and designer Chai Jeong Hwa used 1,000 old doors to create an unusual ten-storey door building in Seoul ,South Korea. His un-conventional designs and installations are usually made of recycled products as he wants to spread a campaign to work with

worthless materials. IT IS BETTER TO FAIL IN ORIGINALITY THAN TO SUCCEED IN IMITATION.
