  • Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of

    affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a

    web search engine's unpaid results—often referred to as

    "natural", "organic", or "earned" results.

  • What is SEO?  SEO - Search engine optimization is about impacting how visible your website

    or FACEBOOK is in a search engine's organic results.

     Websites SEO involves a site’s technical setup as well as optimizing it’s visual

    and written content to improve it’s ranking on search engines like Google.

    SO How DOES this work?

    A company like Google will have a bot – a program that crawls the web.

    It does this by following links.

    The crawler (or spider as its known) arrives at a page, reads the code, and stores

    the information. It then follows links to other pages, URL’ s and sites.

    occasionally rolls out a "major" algorithmic update (such as

    Google Panda and Google Penguin) that affects search

    results in significant ways.
