Campaign Manager: The ‘Campaign Manager’ is the main data hub for the software. This screen allows you to create / edit and delete all of your campaigns within seo link robot. The site, email, user information for all of the accounts is added in within this area. NOTE: you cannot access other modules in the software until you have created at least ‘One’ campaign. Campaign Creator: On start-up you will have 2 options if you have no campaign currently available

The import wizard will be detailed in a later section of the guide. We will cover the creation of a new campaign from beginning to end, so in this instance we click the ‘Yes’ button and we get the following input area to add the name of our first campaign:

We add the campaign name then press create and the skeleton campaign is created and the following screen displayed.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 10

Each Campaign will contain all of the data required for each module (i.e. Web 2.0 / article directory) and all of this data is entered within this screen. The data can also be modified within each of the module screen if required. At this point we can auto generate data or manually add in all data. Let us choose the ‘auto gen data’ and choose a male profile. This will add male data and also auto scrape the company data in the process.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 11

The data is auto created and company details scraped. Note you can modify the user names used in the software by editing the ‘names’ text files found in the application folder.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 12

Note that data can be re-scraped using the ‘Scrape Details’ button. A spinnable username is added by default.

The following buttons are used to add / delete and save all of your campaigns

Note that all campaign details are ‘auto saved’ when you change campaign or close the campaign manager screen. You must fill in ‘all’ details within the campaign before you create your web 2.0, article, press release, social bookmarking and rss accounts. Example campaign data

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 13

NOTE: You can auto add spintax to your description field by simple right clicking the mouse when over the description area and select ‘Identify and insert synms’. You do need to have setup either ‘the best spinner’ Or ‘Spinner Chief’ usernames and passwords before this function can be used. The ‘Generic’ category will be chosen by default and added to your categories when saved, so please ensure you pick a related category from the dropdown list. Creating web 2.0, article, press release, social and rss accounts This option is only available within the ‘Pro version’ of the software. To create account we need to

- Choose specific sites to create accounts on - Create account on all sites - Create specific account types i.e. Web 2.0 - Create all account types

To start account creation we use the ‘Account Creator’ button on the menu bar and choose the option we want to run

Use the ‘Create All’ option beside each account type to create new accounts on all sites.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 14

If you select the ‘create selected’ option you must select the sites within the sections (web 2.0 / press release / article / rss or social bookmarking) as shown:

Accounts will only be created on the selected (tick next to them) sites. All non-selected sites will not have accounts created. You need to repeat this process for the rss, social bookmark, article directories and press releases accounts. Signups for for Seo Link Robot Lite The lite version of seo link robot doesn’t have automated signups therefore the quickest way to do signups is to first export all account data to create an empty account file. Next we need to get a list of the sites we need to signup to. We do this using the ‘Account Signups’ button. Note that this button is only shown in the lite version of the software.

Click the ‘account signups’ button and a browser window will open and display all of the sites in the software broken down by site type. Simply click each site in turn and signup then add the data to the ‘exported account data file’. Once all sites have been signed up to, import the data account filer back into the software THEN do the email verification process to pick up any passwords that have been mailed out.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 15

Importing existing account via text file You can import existing accounts into the social, rss, web 2.0, article directory and press release areas using a text file. To get the base format data file you first click on the ‘import data ‘Export account data to text file’ option as shown.

Select a file name to export to and save. The data will be exported and you can open the file in ‘notepad’ and it will be in the following format: Web 2.0 Accounts ============ blog.com,, insanejournal,, myopera,, onsugar,, wordpress,, zimbio,, Gather,, blog.ca,, bravejournal,, Simply add the ‘username’ and password between the commas as follows Web 2.0 Accounts ============ blog.com,steve6, gooey25 insanejournal,, myopera,, onsugar,, wordpress, steve6, gooey25 zimbio, bobriley, yanp98 Gather,, blog.ca,, bravejournal,, note that the comma needs to be present between the username and password. Each line should not contain any extra commas, you only have 2 commas per line. Don’t edit the file in excel as tis saves additional characters that may not be recognised on import. Save the data in notepad then use the import option to import the accounts back into the software.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 16

Email Verification The email verification option in the menu allows you to both test and verify your email for the current chosen campaign.

The Test email settings option allows you to test the email data setup within your campaign. You should always test the email settings before creating any accounts

The Verify email icon will open the email verifier screen and allow you to auto verify your emails for the accounts you have just created. If you wish to verify other emails that are not created in the software you can modify the ‘emails.txt’ file within the application folder and add in additional unique signatures.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 17

Click the ‘start verification process’ to start the verifying of emails. Additional email info: Note that within the email section you will need to select if your email provider uses the ‘SSL’ (secure socket layer) protocol to connect to your email server.

It is recommended not to use a free ‘yahoo’ email account here as the free

accounts do not allow pop3 access to your emails. One of your own domain

emails is preferred; if you wish to use a free email then ‘live.com’ is the preferred free email provider.

If you enter one of your domain email accounts then your pop3 server will

normally contain your domain name as follows:

If you domain is ‘mysite123.com’ your email server will be one of the following

formats

mail.mysite123.com

pop.mysite123.com

pop3.mysite123.com

If your site uses ‘secure socket layers’ (SSL) the standard port will be ‘995’ if not the standard port is ‘110’

Note: don’t use a free yahoo email account. A free yahoo account functions as

though it connects fine but ‘yahoo’ does not send any of the email in the mailbox

via pop3, so they always show as ‘no messages’. I.e. Live.com Pop3 server = pop3.live.com

Port: 995 SSL : Enabled You can also use your own email server address and details. Most domains have the ability to host pop 3 email. The most common formats for a user domain are as follows: Mail.mydomain.com or Pop.mydomain.com or pop3.mydomain.com Note that ‘mydomain.com’ is the name of your own domain. More info on Gmail can be found here: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13287

Import Wizard The import wizard allow users to migrate data from version 1 of seo link robot to version 2.0+ Click the ‘import wizard button to open the import wizard screen. Note that the import wizard will attempt to associate a web 2.0 / article and press release project from version 1.0 with a campaign name or imported campaign name (profile in version 1).. If this cannot be matched then a bulk update won’t import the data from that specific file.

The following import wizard will be opened

You must first import your profiles if none exist for your projects before you can import data accounts and site details. To import your default profiles, simply click the ‘find xprofiles.lxs’ button and the software will open in your mydocs folder by default. If your xprofiles.lxs file has been moved to a different location then select the file manually. Once selected click the ‘import file data’ button and the following screen will be shown

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 19

You select the profiles to import and click the ‘Import / update selected data’ and the data will be imported and saved as separate campaigns. You can also double click the profile name and the base profile data will be shown

Note that the version 1 site data details i.e. Urls / url list etc are held within the project files themselves and not within the profile. These can be imported in the next section together with the accounts themselves. Once you have imported the profiles the profile import screen will exit and you will see the imported profiles within the main campaign screen.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 20

Click the ‘import wizard again and go to the ’Import account data from file or folder’ tab

Note that the social and rss accounts file are not related to any profile in version 1.0 and therefore must be loaded separately and assigned to a campaign.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 21

Bulk loading web 2.0 / article and press release file data To bulk load we need to 1) Choose a folder containing the project files 2) Select the ‘import file from folder’ option 3) select the article directory accounts, web 2.0 accounts and press release accounts. 4) optional – select the ‘include site’ data to populate the campaign with the site info from the imported project file (urls / descriptions / url list etc)

Click the ‘import account data’ and the accounts + the site data will be imported in. To Import from a specific file (has option has to be used for rss and social bookmarking imports) choose only the ‘import single file and 1 import file type then choose your campaign (from the dropdown list) to import the data into.

Click the ‘import account data’ button to import the accounts into the campaign.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 22

Importing ‘ONLY’ the site information data What is the site only data? The site only data is all the data that belongs to a version 1 project file. This includes the urls, url list, keywords, descriptions etc. To import the site only data from a web 2.0 / article or press release project (version 1) you

1) select a single file 2) Select the import single file option 3) Select the include site data tick box 4) Select the campaign to import the site data into

Click the ‘Import site data’ button to import only the site information and the data will be imported.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 23

Example of an import The following is an example when you want to import a specific web 2.0 profile and also include the ‘web 2.0’ project data that has been added to the web 2.0 project within version 1 of the software. Choose the following options

We need to set the following as can be seen in the screenshot above:

- Choose the file using ‘find file’ to it is set in the ‘single file path’ - Click the ‘import data into specific campaign (if you are setting a specific campaign

data) - Select the ‘import single file’ option so we are importing from a single file - Select the ‘import file type’ web 2.0 accounts - Select the ‘include site data’ tick box. This is the option that import the additional site

data i.e. url, keywords etc So at this point we are importing ‘BOTH’ the web 2.0 accounts (username and passwords) plus the related site data we created within that web 2.0 project. Now click the ‘Import Account Data’ button to import all the account and site data. If you wish to only import the site related project data then click the ‘Import Site Data’ button only.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 24

Project Settings Area

The main seo link robot project settings are used to set global settings within the software that are used throughout the other campaign modules.

The settings screen is found at the top left corner of the main menu screen as shown

Within the settings screen you have several options: - Set the browser state normal or minimized from view - Default thread count to use when posting to the various sites - Auto unlocking option of the license on the current running - The Best Spinner and Spinner Chief usernames and passwords - Auto spintax options - Captcha solving accounts passwords decaptcher / death by captcha / image typerz

In this screen you select the spinner API type to be used for auto spintax processing and you must also select the spin quality and number of synms to return from the TBS or SC api. The protected keywords option allows you to protect your keywords when the data is modified and if this option is chosen your keywords will not be spun.

You can set your ‘default threads’ to the used when you post to the web 2.0 / article dir / social and rss modules. If you get a lot of failure you need to reduce these threads.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 25

If you do not want to have the browser windows showing when doing the posts then select the ‘minimized’ browser state option. You can also set the software to auto unlock license on shutdown feature by clicking the auto unlock check box.

The ‘auto unlock license’ option allows you to auto unlock the software after use. If you’re using more than one machine this is required to be set. To manually unlock a license you need to click the ‘unlock license’ button on the toolbar.

To use auto solving captcha services you need to have the captcha account details added in for the services you want to use in the software processes.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 26

Always test the service account when you add them to ensure they are working 100%.

You need to also select the service to use as the ‘robot decaptcher mode’

There are a set of new proxy and Internet Cache cleaner option that can also be set. Currently a lot of users will run utilities such as ccleaner before they do a run; this is fine and users can continue to do this but a new option called ‘Auto clear IE Cache’ will delete all of the internet explorer cache files before each run. If the option is set then the IE cache will be cleared down before every single post. The ‘Auto clear proxies’ will auto unset any proxy ip and port that was setup within internet explorer when the software is shut down. Do not set the ‘auto clear proxies’ option if you require a proxy server to be setup for general use. Also you do not need to set this option if you are running a VPN service like HMA Pro. The ‘Auto proxy test’ option will test the current proxy server before you post to any sites. If the proxy server fails then the proxy manager screen will be shown and you can select a new working proxy. Note when you exit this screen any settings changed will auto save. If you don’t currently own a best spinner license then you can use the following discount code to get this for $47 instead of the current $77 purchase price. http://www.seolinkrobot.com/tbs

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 27

Adding Wordpress article directories to the software From Version 205 there is a new settings area where users can add their own ‘word press article directories’ (these are not word press blogs but use an article directory plugin).

To load the existing user file click the ‘Open User File’ button, note this will load a blank file if no user sites have been added into the software. Add the base site into the software including the http as follows: http://www.articlesite.com http://www.articlesite1.com http://www.articlesite2.com

Click the ‘save WP List’ button to save the new sites. You can also delete or modify any invalid / non-working sites and click the ‘save WP List’ button to update the list.

Article Spinner

The article spinner is accessed via the main menu and can be used to create simple spun article from scratch or to auto retrieve articles via the inbuilt article scraper.

The article spinner uses the standard syntax for spinning as follows

{ } for spinnable content | To separate the spinnable content

Example:

If we spin Today is Monday as shown

When you click out of the ‘spinning options’ area you will see the main area updated as shown:

We can further sub spin Sunday as follows:

To spin any content simply highlight the word or phrase in the main window then click within the spinning options window to add the spun content. Add a new keyword or phrase per line

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 29

Click the ‘Spin Article’ button to see examples of your spun article.

Note that you ‘NEED’ to save your article for use within the web 2.0 site postings. Click the ‘save raw spin data’ button to save to file. The article spinner also has the option to auto create inline links within the article text. This links will appear as clickable words (hyperlink) within the article itself. We have 2 options here:

- Automatically create a link to the previously posted site - Insert a random link from your posting url list

Automatically linking the previous site We use the [%LASTLINK%] tag to connect our sites together on auto pilot creating an open link wheel style structure as follows.

An example of this is shown

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 30

We can also introduce the [%RANDOMLINK%] tag to add links to our custom url list that we have added within the web 2.0 poster module. This will rotate through our links and add additional urls to our article text. Note that we can also select our spun article text to add our special tags as shown

Within our web 2.0 article posting section we can also add the random link and last link tags via the spinnable article screen. You can also add plain html links within your article text if required.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 31

Auto add spin syntax to an article You can auto add your spin syntax to an article by using the toolbar button ‘Auto Ident Synms’ and this will query the ‘the best spinner’ api using your username and password and pass in your article (max 5000 characters) and auto add spin syntax to it. Note that you need a best spinner or spinner chief account to be able to use this function (see last section)

If you don’t have a ‘the best spinner’ or ‘spinner chief’ account setup you will get a ‘username invalid’ or ‘invalid user details’ error message. Article Scraper + spinning The inbuilt article scraper can be used to find articles based on a keyword or number of keywords. The keywords can be added into the article scraper but by default any keywords within a keyword list or the protected keyword area in the article spinner will be auto added

Click the ‘find article button’ to open the article scraper. Note the auto filled keywords

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 32

The article scraper comes in a number of parts

1) Add keywords 2) Select directories to scrape 3) Select the number of article to scrape for each keyword 4) Find articles 5) Select the articles to download 6) Download articles then export back to the calling screen i.e. Article Spinner / web 2.0 /

article poster etc

To add a new keyword simply ‘double click’ the keyword list, add the keyword in the box and click add.

Select sites to scrape from and click the ‘find articles’ button and the articles will be pulled back into the ‘download progress list’

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 33

Click the ‘article list results’ tab and choose the articles to download.

With the selected articles ready for download simply click the ‘download selected articles’ so they can be viewed.in the download articles tab.

You now double click the article in the results list and it will be displayed.

With the selected articles ready for download simply click the ‘download selected articles’ so they can be viewed in order for you to verify the contents is what you want.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 34

You may need to remove any erroneous characters in this section that have been embedded into the article. This is more of a quality check that needs to be done to ensure the article is what you want to use. Click ‘add/save’ if changes have been made but if not choose ‘dismiss article’ Now select the article you want to export and click the ‘export selected links’ button and the top most articles in the list will be exported back to the module. If the article scraper is run from the ‘web 2.0 linker’ then the entire selection of articles will be exported back.

The article is now exported back into the article spinner in this instance as we opened the article scraper from the simple article creator module.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 35

Note the [TITLE] tag that has been added to the article. This tag is used to identify the title and used when the article is saved and loaded direct into one of the other modules. All we do now is to auto add spintax for the article. Click the auto ident synms to do this.

This will send the article direct to spintax api and return the results as shown

You can test spin the article using the ‘spin preview’ button.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 36

Web 2.0 Site Creator: The web 2.0 creator screen allows you to scrape and post articles to independent web 2.0 sites and to create interlinking link networks using special article tags. This screen comes in four parts as follows: Main Site data You need to have a set of campaign data which is used for signing up and posting to your web 2.0 sites. This data is automatically taken from the campaign that is currently loaded. The software will keep track of the last campaign loaded into seo link robot and that campaign will be auto loaded through the software modules.

To change a campaign you click the campaign name list and select a new item. The selected campaign will be loaded and any data set in the previous campaign will be saved.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 37

Take note of the ‘anchor text’ and description fields in the example above. They are fully spinnable and use the standard spinning syntax as shown within the article spinner section earlier in this guide.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 38

The toolbar contains several items as follows

- Add web 2.0 urls o This button add web 2.0 post links to your url list. This is useful when creating

link pyramids and cross link pyramids as well other network linking structures.

- Verify Emails o Use this option to open the email verifier to verify any accounts with a status of

not verified

- Find article o This option allows the scraping of articles from a set of article directories. This

option is covered within the article spinner section earlier in this guide.

- Link Viewer o The link viewer contains the entire set of links created for this campaign.

- Export Log

o This option allows you to export the log data to file

- Start Posting o This option post the web 2.0 campaign article to the selected web 2.0 sites

Creating Your Web 2.0 accounts (optional): You can optionally create web 2.0 accounts within this module. This account creation is the same process as carried out in the campaign manager screen. Adding your Spinnable Article to post to your web 2.0 sites: You need to add your spinnable article to post to your web 2.0 sites along with your links (if required). If you use a ‘random link’ tag the url list will be used to replace the tag in real-time. To do this click the ‘Spinnable Article’ tab on the web 2.0 screen Note that you can also set the ‘use footer’ option within the post screen to add a random url against a random keyword from your keyword list.

Note You right click the article area and select the ‘identify and insert synms title / body’ to add spintax to the article itself. Choose the description option to add spintax to the ‘main site data’ description field. You can load an article in 3 ways

1) Scrape the article then auto add spintax 2) Load the article from file (i.e. From the article spinner save process or via another

article spinner) 3) Paste the article from the clipboard

You will ‘NOT’ see any of the links added to the article within the ‘spin article’ preview text if you are adding footer style links to the article. These footer url links are added to the articles dynamically when the articles are posted to the web 2.0 sites.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 40

You can insert special tags from the ‘right click’ menu option. Select the text you want to add a special tag and right click the mouse to show the options.

Please refer to the basic article section for more information on the ‘last link’ and ‘random link’ tags. Both ‘last link’ and random link’ tags are replaced in real-time before the articles are posted. You can also add additional links using the option ‘Insert URL’ which is found at the bottom of the popup menu options. You first choose a url from the url dropdown list and this url is inserted as a clickable anchor text link within the article text. Select a url

Select the text to anchor and select the ‘Insert URL’ option:

The selected text is anchored and the relevant html added to the article

Find out more on creating article networks in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNlIbImcNX4 Note you can also auto add spin syntax using the ‘right click menu’ items

- Identify and Insert Synms – Title Text - Identify and Insert Synms – Body Text

To preview an example of the spun article you simply click the ‘spin article’ button. Note that you will see the article auto spun as html text in the preview area. This is normal and the format we want the article to appear in before we can post to our web 2.0 site.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 42

You can preview how your article will look on the web 2.0 site using the ‘Browser preview’ option button. This will create a temp html file and show it within your default browser.

Google Penguin Updates Change: Due to the google penguin updates we need to extend the keyword list we use and post variations of our anchor text to our chosen pages. To do this a new article tag has been introduced this tag looks like this: [%RANDOMKEYWORD%] And can be either manually added or added using the ‘right click’ menu system as above. Simply select a keyword to randomise and right click the mouse and choose ‘’.

Resulting in the following tag being added

So we can use the new random keyword tag and get around the latest google penguin updates by varying our anchor text. I would also recommend adding in your target url into the keyword area as well so that you get direct url placement as anchor.

This is ‘not’ a standard link wheel and thus will not have a link wheel signature. We are creating a mini network of sites that comprises of a set of 5 web 2.0 properties linked in a network type structure as shown.

These main functions of the web 2.0 linker screens are the same as the web 2.0 Site Creator screens except for the following. Note that the same sites can be loaded within both the Web 2.0 site creator and web 2.0 linker screens. Ultimately we want to create base networks of sites links to our money site then re-link a new mini-net to each web 2.0 property to give a network of links spreading authority and rank between all sites. Note that this functionality will be expanded with the additional of new link network structures.

drop down value to either ‘3000’ sites or ’30,000’ sites as shown. Ensure you press the ‘LOAD’ button to load in the data from file.

Now select the ‘Fast Index List’ button

Now you need to choose the number of threads to parallel run when indexing.

Note that for low memory machine choose either 100 or 200 threads only. This

will take longer to run but will not use up all the available memory available.

Select your threads from the drop down (default is 100)

The ‘Ping Meta URL’ is the number of rpc ping sites that the software will

randomly submit the Meta URL.

Then click ‘Start Meta Indexing’. At this point all the site threads will be created

and queue up and indexing will start.

Copyright Stephen Hawkins – http://www.seolinkrobot.com 73

As with the pinging the threads can be cancelled and processing will stop.

Depending on the meta indexing sites used (3k or 30k) it may take up to 30-40

second to cancel all the thread that have been queued up to run.

Set proxy server:

This screen allows you to define a proxy server to be used when you do your

Meta indexing. Only use this function if you are using private proxy servers. The

amount of data used to submit will disable a public or free proxy.
