TERM LIMITS•Learning or teaching is an attempt to train students. In this sense it is learning there implicit activities to choose, establish, and develop methods to achieve the desired learning outcomes (Degeng as cited in Uno, 2008, p. 134).
•Cooperative learning model type STAD is a model of cooperative learning using small groups are heterogeneous (Trianto, 2011, p. 52).
•Student activity is any activity of students in like attention, asked questions and discussion to following the learning process.
•The results of studying mathematics is the abilities students after receiving their learning experience. Learning outcomes in this study includes two aspects:Cognitive learning outcomes relating to intellectual property. Cognitive assessment is seen from the tests performed. Affective learning is student’s attitudes regarding the assessed from charging student questionnaires and observation sheets.

Research Study Limitation
This research is only done on class VIIB SMPN 1 Napal Putih academic

Definition of Learning
Learning is a process of interaction between the stimulus (which may be thought, feeling, or movement) and
response (which also can include thoughts, feeling, or movement)
(Thorndike as cited in Uno, 2008, p. 7)Learning or teaching is an attempt to train students. In this sense there is implicit in the learning activities of
selecting, establishing, and developing methods to achieve the desired learning
outcomes (Degeng as cited in Uno, 2008, p. 134)

Cooperative Learning
Cooperative learning structured in an effort to increase participation of students, facilitating students with leadership experience and attitude to make decisions in
groups, as well as providing the opportunity for students to
interact and learn together other students
Trianto, 2011, p.41

Cooperative Learning Type STAD
Cooperative learning type STAD is one type of cooperative learning model using small
groups with a number of members of each group of 4-5 students are heterogeneous.
Cooperative learning type STAD "begins with the delivery of learning objectives,
presentation, group activities, quizzes, and awards groups" (Trianto, 2011, p.52)

Students Results
Cognitive Learning Outcomes, relating to intellectual property consisting of six aspects of the
knowledge or memory, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and
evaluationAffective Learning Outcomes
domain of attitudes regarding which consists of five aspects, namely,
acceptance, participation, evaluation and determination of attitudes, organization
and establishment of lifestyle

Relevant Research
Research conducted Yofi Nurkaesal (2009) concluded that the learning method STAD in
teaching circle can improve student achievement, the results of observation and
inquiry that the application of the model STAD learning can make students more active in teaching and learning and can
enhance student's motivation.

Type of Research
This is a Classroom Action Research is the research conducted in the field of education
is implemented in the classroom with the aim to repair and improve the quality of learning.

Data Collection Techniques
Observation Data,Obtained using observation sheets for students to know and recognize the activities of students in the learning
process
The Test Sheet,The test form a task or series of tasks to be done by the students who performed at the end of each cycle, the goal is to
determine the success of learning model STAD in mathematics.
![Page 21: Seminar ku (feronika artiningsih)](https://reader034.fdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022052600/557693d7d8b42af5528b500a/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
Data Analysis Techniques
Observation Sheet
No Assessment Criteria Notation Score Value
1 Less K 1
2 Enough C 23 Good B 3
Observation of the student activity sheet totaled 10 points of observation, the highest score of each point of observation is 3 (three), then the highest score is: 3 x 10 = 30 and lowest scores are: 1 x 10 = 10.
![Page 22: Seminar ku (feronika artiningsih)](https://reader034.fdocuments.net/reader034/viewer/2022052600/557693d7d8b42af5528b500a/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
Thus, the range of assessment scores for student observation sheet are:
No Assessment Criteria Score range
1 Less 10-16
2 Enough 17-24
3 Good 24-30

Test
1. The average value of learning outcomes
3. Completeness in the classical learning
Where as, = the average student = number of student score N = number of students
x x
2. Criteria students completed
Students said completed in study if they have value minimum is 70.
