EDUCATION
Ben met Andrew VanWyngarden at Wesleyan University.Ran the music venue in the house.
BAND FORMATION
oBen and Andrew began taking private lessons under the instruction of composer Ron Kuivila.
LANDING A RECORD
Ben and Andrew released MGMT's first electro-rock EP (extended play) Time to Pretend in 2005.

2008:A PROMISING YEAR
As their career took off, MGMT was able to participate in many music events.
SECOND ALBUM
MGMT released their second album Congratulations in 2010.

MGMT started its South American this October and their music can be heard in movies and commercials.
