We offer our customers in the industry, utility and maritime markets amongst others,

panel indicators, transducers, energy analysers, kWh-meters and current transformers.

The Netherlands Instruments Factory, NIF was founded in 1900. In 1913 NIF changed into Nieaf, Netherlands Instruments and

Electrical Apparatus Factory. Since their early days they have manufactured products for the electrical installations in the Dutch

industry, Nieaf mainly manufactured panel indicators, transducers and portable test equipment for metering of electrical values.

In 1984 Nieaf merged with relay producer Smitt to become the company Nieaf-Smitt B.V. Ever since Nieaf-Smitt is active in

both measuring and switching of electrical values. In 1990 the French industrial holding Dardel, now renamed MS International,

acquired Nieaf-Smitt.

Nieaf-Smitt B.V. is ISO-9001:2001 certified for marketing, sales, design, development, production, calibration

and distribution of measuring & switching equipment.
