Call the Member Resources Center at 1-877-687-1021 to Check Your Membership Status SEIU Local 1021 City of Oakland Chapter 2019 Bargaining Team Elections and Call for Nominations for Bargaining Team Members and Special Election for Secretary Governed by SEIU Local 1021 Chapter Bylaws Template Bargaining Team Nominations / Election Per SEIU 1021 City of Oakland Bylaws, notice is hereby given of an election for the Bargaining Team for upcoming contract negotiations. Elections shall be conducted by worksite ballot, held on January 22, 23, and 24, at times and places to be announced. All nominations for Bargaining Team members shall be in the form of a nominating petition, signed by no fewer than ten (10) members of the City of Oakland chapter of SEIU Local 1021 who work in the department / division of the SEIU Local 1021 member they are nominating. All petitions must be submitted to [email protected] by 5 p.m., Friday, January 11. All nominees must be members of SEIU Local 1021 in good standing. To be eligible to run for and serve on the Bargaining Team, a person must have been a member of SEIU Local 1021 for one full year, and must work within a bargaining unit represented by the chapter. Candidates may submit an optional candidate statement of not more than 200 words. Candidate statements should be submitted to [email protected].
