Sefiras Ha’omer Chart By Chaya Rubens
Grade Level: Early Childhood, Elementary Description: Keep track of the Omer count by marking off the numbers ascending Har Sinai! This sheet features numbers one through forty-nine beneath a Sefiras Ha’omer heading. These numbers appear to be making their way up a verdant, flower-covered mountain which is topped with a cloud, lightning bolts and Luchos. Display this item in your classroom either by printing as a poster or by displaying on an interactive whiteboard. Alternatively, this item can be printed on letter-sized paper for students to take home. What to download
Download the print-ready PDF file (includes lesson plan/instructions). Goals/Objectives: Students will keep track of the day of the Omer by marking off this chart each day of Sefira. Materials Needed:
Poster board, laminate and wet/dry erase marker – if using as poster
Stickers or pen – if using as individual charts
Computer and interactive whiteboard – if displaying on SMART board Instructions:
1. Decide how you would like to use this chart. 2. After counting the Omer, mark off the appropriate day/instruct your
students to mark off the appropriate day. Additional Tips: Clarify that although Luchos are depicted at the top of the mountain, they were not given on Shavuos and they only represent the Aseres Hadibros which were said at Matan Torah.
