ISE does three things:

1. Makes sure the devices on the network are clean

2. Makes sure they are performing the functions they are supposed to

3. Taking the vulnerability out of guest access and BYOD . Guest access

is something that has become necessary in hospitals. ISE allows

guests to access just what they need and restricts their time, all the

while recording their session.

The main reason ISE is getting such a positive response is because it

comes out of the box HIPPA compliant. Obviously no major move in tech-

nology can be made without HIPPA being brought up so this point alone

is what sells most healthcare providers on ISE. Essentially ISE enables

compliance, enhances security, and streamlines operations.
