Security measures are in place and will be periodically assessed to ensure comprehensive maritime security in the area.
The Singapore anchorages will be increasingly over-crowded. NTAA offers the best alternatives.
◦ Skilled and lower cost Indonesian workers can also serve ship repair and maintenance activities in NTAA offering alternative work for the local community.
Customs and Immigration arrangements would not be neglected. GOS continues to engage with these departments. Currently log support will be provided to bring immigration officers to clients' vessel.
In the medium term, NTAA is also being considered for free trade zone - this will resolve significant customs issues and further enable NTAA to leverage on Singapore’s venue as a logistics hub
