KeySec is a plug-in for Adobe® Acrobat® 5.0, which allows you to protect PDF documents usingSmartkey dongles.

Once you have installed Adobe Acrobat on your computer, you can encrypt a PDF document with KeySec only by plugging in a SmartKey dongle.

Keysec Reader allows anyone with Adobe® Acrobat® 5.0, Adobe® Acrobat® Approval® 5.0 orAdobe® Acrobat® Reader® 5.0 to read a PDF document protected with KeySec.

KeySec is essential:

1) if you have files in PDF or any format that can be converted to PDF, for which access needs to be restricted to authorized users.

2) if you wish to distribute PDF documents via e-mail,web or other communication channels, restricting access to only authorized users.
