Even yogis need to stay competitive in today’s marketplace. Modo Yoga, with their 75+ locations, faced an identity crisis with their rapidly expanding group of studios. Antarctic guided Modo through an international name change, new visual identity, and rebuilt what it meant to be a community through several internal community building campaigns.

SOCIAL VENTURE - JUNGLEKEEPERS

About

We traveled to the Amazon rainforest and saw the environmental destruction from logging. We saw the land stripped of 500-year-old iron wood trees in exchange for soybeans and cheap lumber. Working with our friends at Modo Yoga NYC, we decided to take action and build a digital platform for Junglekeepers, a non-profit dedicated to preserving the pristine landscape of the rainforest in Eastern Peru.

Antarctic created the vitaminwater social club, transforming a traditional brand activation event into an audience-led movement of advocates. It ran 30 days in total with 55 events in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, ignited by third-party involvement from world renowned .org’s top-tier media hubs, and high-profile bands like Macklemore.

Designed and built for the launch of COLORS #86 - Making the News, the COLORS News Machine churns your tweets through different media filters and into print, simulating the contemporary 24-hour news cycle. Tweet a headline to @colosmachine and see what happens; after Italian news hoaxer Tommaso De Benedetti tweeted the (fake) death of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in 2012, crude oil prices rose by US $1.17 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
