Stimulus – anything that causes some change in an organism.

– Example: Sun giving energy to a plant.

Response – the way an organism reacts to a stimulus, often results in movement– Example: A plant leaning towards the Sun

Homeostasis – maintaining the proper conditions inside an organism.

- Example: A normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees
