• The conference is organized into four arenas, business strategy and social innovation, with a blend of workshops and presentations for each one. • New Orleans, is in the midst of a renaissance fueled by a combination of locals who returned and an influx of designers, technologists, artists, social entrepreneurs, and business professionals. Against the backdrop of New Orleans, Second Line is an opportunity to highlight the city’s strategic minds and their fluency in economic dialogues on local, national and international levels in tandem with world business leaders.

• The Second Line is part of New Orleans’ traditional funeral services –– a parade that flows out of the cemetery with upbeat music and dancing to celebrate one’s “next life.” In the same way, the Second Line conference is to celebrate the economy’s “next life” –– one that is also socially responsible, equitable, and sustainable.
