General Course Description

The second grade Social Studies program covers the founding of the first American colony through the Revolutionary War and setting up of the government of the United States.

In geography we learn the locations of the 50 states, 7 continents and 5 oceans, as well as cover basic map skills.

We learn about people from other cultures and those who lived long ago.
