• After the Mid-Year Examinations, your children will be invited to submit their preferred Sec 3NA subject combinations (Pre-Streaming Exercise). The school will offer the subjects based on interest at the ground and available school resources.

• After the End-of-Year Examinations, there will be the final Streaming Exercise for them to take part in. They will then be given their Sec 3 subject combination for 2022.

Subjects Criteria

A-Math Students doing G2 math must achieve at least 60% for G2 math in SA2

Students already doing SBB G3 Math must obtain at least 45% for G3 Math in SA2

Principles of Accounts Students doing G2 math must achieve at least 50% for G2 Mathematics

Students doing G3 math must achieve at least 40% for SBB G3 Math

Art Students must attain at least 60% for Art in SA2

Design and Technology Students must achieved at least 60% for D&T in SA2

English Literature Students must achieved at least 60% for Literature in SA2

SBB students will be progressing to Upper Secondary next year.

• Some students in the N(A) stream will be offered Express subjects at upper sec

• These subjects are referred to as Out-of-Stream (OOS) subjects i.e. subjects taken at a cross-level (e.g., N(A) student offering Express Math)

General Guidelines to Continue Offering OSS subjectsJunctures to Streamline

Students who are taking OOS subjects at Sec 3 will be encouraged to revert to the appropriate level of study for that particular subject if they:

Fail (<50%) for the OOS subject(s) that they are offering

Overall results (<50%)

Review of result - based on Sec 3 year end results. Student who are not managing well will be advised and recommendations made in consultation with parents
