To our DeMolay Brothers, Sisters, Moms, and Dads, In these days of comfort, we are reminded that no matter where we come from, what we look like, who we love, or what we strive to become in life, that we are all united under the spirit of fraternity and family. This holiday season, it is our duty and privilege to comfort those who need assistance and to be with those who make our lives special.

We are thankful, today and all days, for the blessed year we have had in Southern California DeMolay. As you know, we have just reached our SIXTH YEAR OF POSITIVE GROWTH! To give you a sense of just how long we have been on this positive trend, we have a special tribute to the past six years on the next page! A special thank you is due to the SCJ Officers from 2008 to now, who helped spur the growth we are seeing. The biggest congratulations and praise however, belongs to all the boys and girls, moms and dads, of SCJ; who did the work, made the calls, hosted the prospect parties, held the initiations, and began the process of making our jurisdiction a strengthening force for the foreseeable future. These victories are because of you, and I am so proud to have been around for these six years, and to share in my little piece of our California Dreams for SCJ! My friends, our numbers and Chapters are growing, our Squire Manors are expanding to new Leagues and areas, and with new and innovative events on the horizon, we have much to be proud of. However, we are reminded at the turn of the New Year that our work is just beginning. Today, and in this coming year, we rededicate our cause anew, to the benefit of the Order of DeMolay and the Family of Freemasonry in California and around the world. Finally, on behalf of the SCJ Staff and Officers, we wish everyone a safe and joyous holiday season, no matter what celebration you will be gathering for. May God bless us all in these special days ahead, watch over our travels near and far, and may he continue to bless our Masonic Family in the New Year.
