CHESTER, f.k.a. Felix, loves to smile.

Chester and one of his family members

Anna Pohlman and her family sent HAHS some wonderful photos and an update on a cat named

CHESTER they adopted from us. Anna writes:

3 years ago we found a kitten on petfinder.com. We called you and met him and his foster

caregiver. It was awesome! “Felix” now goes by “Chester”.

Chester is the most incredible cat. People who don’t like cats LOVE this cat. He is INCREDIBLE

with our two children (now 2 and 4). We welcomed a rescue golden retriever into our home

shortly after we got Chester and they bonded immediately.

We say it all the time - what did we ever do without him!?!? He is such a huge part of our family.

We wanted to reach out and say thank you all for doing what you do. The love that Chester has

brought into our home is priceless. He rescued us without a doubt.

He is an unbelievable cat. He is fully clawed and lets our two little girls carry him all over

the place. His best buddies are a dog and a hamster (no one believes it until they see it). We

are amazed by him. If it were not for you all we wouldn't have found him and he wouldn't

have found us.

One of HAHS’s most recent adoptees… Birdie and

his owners are all smiles.

Chester and his BFF

After spending time in one of HAHS’s foster homes, this dog eventually found a new permanent home.
