SeamlessTextile

Which textile to be used?

Seamless works with textile stretched across multiple panels using a silicon edge of 3 x 14 mm. The textile finish is ideal for running print seamlessly over several panels, without any physical or visual interruption.

For the best possible result we advise to use a blackout fabric. It does not transmit light, which means that there is no transparency and frames are therefore not visible in bright fair light.

How to put textile in a single frame?

General instructions to put textile in a frame:

STEP 1: Wash your hands or use gloves.STEP 2: Start in the corners. Wrap the textile over the silicone strip.STEP 3: Attach the silicone tendon into the slot, going from the corners to the middle. Spread the fabric evenly to remove any creases.

How to put textile over multiple frames?

General instructions to put textile over multiple frames:

STEP 1: Wash hands or use gloves.STEP 2: Start in the corners. Attach the silicone tendon into the slot, going from the corners to the middle. Spread the fabric evenly.STEP 3a: Where 2 frames meet, interrupt the silicone using the T-REX. Once cut, attach the tendon into the slot.STEP 3b: Textiles can also be manufactured with interruptions included. Attach the silicone tendon into the slots where the frames meet.

SeamlessTextile

How to put textile over a corner?

When using textile you can also perfectly create a clean finish at the corners. This can be done in two ways:

• Using the Textile Square 62 • Or by stretching the canvas over the corner

Using the Textile Square 62When using the Textile Square 62 (614 ++++ S04 ANO), the slots for the silicon strips are at the corner.

This implicates the use of two textiles, making it possible to combine two completely different images.

Click here for the article leaflet of the Textile Square 62.

Stretching the textile over the cornerThe textile is stretched over the Square 62 profile (612 ++++ S02 ANO). Only one textile is used for the entire surface.

With this way of working there is less risk of having a staggered image.

SeamlessTextile

T-REX The T-REX is a strong, hardwearing set of clippers for snipping the silicon strips so they run uninterruptedly over the aluminium flanges.

This new tool is totally adjustable, depending on the required depth of the slit.

T-REX is also very flexible to use during construction: You can cut the tendon 'on the spot' depending on the framework arrangement. So even if you deviate from your framework plan, you will never get in trouble.

FAQ

Can textiles without blackout finish also be used? Yes, but depending of the fabric the frame structure can become visible.

Can doors, flatscreens, shelf brackets, etc. also be put in a textile wall?Yes. Click here to consult the textile solutions leaflet.

How to use textile with DMK™?DMK™ frames have no slots for textile. However, our b55™ frame system has the same width as the DMK™ frame system, so they can be combined to create a 55 mm stand with textile infills.

Another possibility is to use the Fixscreen 20S. Click here for the article leaflet.

SeamlessTextile

How to order textile? To assure a perfect match of an infill with beMatrix frames, giving as much information as possible to the panel / fabric supplier is key.

SeamlessPanelskin™

What is it? Panelskin™ consists of 10 mm thick MDF panels to create sturdy, flat walls. It features the patented L2C®click system that is already used worldwide. The panels are attached to the beMatrix frames using hook and loop tape. They protrude 6 mm further than other fillings placed in the frame.

The tight-fitting tongue-and-groove system means seams and joins are reduced to the minimum. You can choose whether to leave them slightly ‘visible’ or to remove them totally with a coat of paint.

Front viewThe Panelskin™ comes in 2 versions: directly usable in white laminate finish or ready for painting.

White laminate Panelskin™

With the laminate finish there is a small pencil line visible, but no additional finish in needed.

Paintable Panelskin™

Painting fills in the very fine joins between the panels making them totally invisible.

For the best possible result we advise to use a calcareous paint. this type of paint is thicker and has structure. In addition, the paint offers better coverage, which means less imperfections and a maximum seamless finish.

Back viewPanelskin™ panels can be attached quickly and securely to the aluminium stand structure using hook and loop tape.

11

SeamlessPanelskin™

Why use it? Panelskin™ can be built using aluminium beMatrix frames. This fast-building system ensures a straight and solid construction.

You can work seamlessly with these wooden panels fit with a tongue-and-groove system that enables them to be click-fastened extremely tightly against one another.

The wooden Panelskin™ panels are attached quickly and securely to the aluminium construction using hook and loop tape. It absorbs the tentions between the frames and the wood application what reduces the risk of cracking, among other things.

17

How to mount Panelskin™ over 4m?

With Panelskin™ even walls above 4m are no problem. The wooden panels are mounted above each other(1) as shown below. Between the levels there is a seam that needs to be filled(2). Unlike wood building, much less finish is required for large surfaces.

We advise the use of fiberglass reinforced epoxy filler for the best result.

How to integrate doors?

Creating a door to integrate in a Panelskin wall is not that hard. Follow these steps and get the perfect result:

1. Click two panels together. Make sure they are aligned properly.

2. Mill the door out of the combined panels.

3. Add hook and loop tape, both on the door panels as on the edges.

4. The result is a perfectly seamless wall.

All the advan-tages of wood building in one system

Panelskin™ panels are perfect for sawing to the required size, giving you a simple way of creating a shape different from the standard beMatrix grid.

In addition, other applications are also possible: integrate a screen bracket, place shelf brackets, build-in a socket, create a niche, etc.

In other words, you enjoy all the benefits of woodworking, whilst working with a modular fast-building frame system.

FAQSeamlessPanelskin™

Is Panelskin™ reusable?Yes, provided it is handled with care.

Both when dismantling as during the transport the panels should be carefully handled. Also, there must be sufficient attention to the tongue and groove connection.

How is Panelskin™ packed? The panels and corners are packed per two. The start and end pieces are packed per two and per set.

How to transport the panels? As flat as possible - and preferably on palettes - with sufficient attention for the tongue and groove connection.

What is the fire class of Panelskin™?Fire reaction according to EN 13501-1 – Class E.

To comply with regulations, a fire protection treatment of the panels may be necessary. Ask the fair organizer for further specifications.

FAQSeamlessPanelskin™

How to integrate Panelskin™ and textile in one surface? By placing the frames 6 mm apart using the 'b62/DMK alignment connector D30' (901 2014 0062 ECO).

How to finish the narrow side?A custom made slat (in f.ex. wood, MDF, etc.) is an esthetic solution to finish the narrow side.

re!nventing stand building systems

How to use Panelskin™ with DMK™?Add velcro. Because the DMK™ frames have no slots for attaching textile, the surface on the side of the profile is bigger, so a second strip of hook and loop tape is necessary.

Another option to mount the panels is to use the 'DMK universal bracket'.
