FOR A SEAMLESS TRANSITION TO ECONOMY: OUR KNIT & WEAR-CLASS.

The advantages of Stoll-knit and wear® are obvious. Fewer work steps and less handling provide for shorter throughput times. The elimination of seam allowances and the reduced storage expense for yarn and semi-finished products mean reduced material consumption. In addition, you benefit from lower labor costs and overall shorter reaction times – including for repeat orders and intermediate collections.

The consumer appreciates the perfect fit, new freedom in shape and design, the high fabric quality and the elimination of bothersome seams. All this results in a more comfortable fit, particularly for close-fitting garments.

And new products also offer retailers interesting competitive advantages. These include additional sales arguments, less competition, higher profits, shorter lead times, and last but not least, fewer customer complaints. So it hardly comes as a surprise that the production of Knit & Wear garments is the topic of the future. A good example of this is the Sports Active Wear from Stoll – the perfect way for you to become part of a quickly growing market worldwide. Because what’s not possible with conventional production methods is no problem for Stoll-knit and wear®. “True” seamless knitting. In addition, the garments can be adapted to the desired physiological characteristics because certain body areas can be provided with various functional properties easily by means of the Knit & Wear technique.

Fast, economical production of Knit & Wear garments – that’s the strength of the Stoll Knit & Wear machines. And they are equipped to do that in many variations – the available gauges range from ultra-coarse, realized on our CMS 830 C knit & wear, to extra-fine knits with the CMS 730 T knit & wear. With the CMS 822 knit & wear tandem machine you can even knit two pieces simultaneously, or with coupled carriages you can produce Knit & Wear garments in every imaginable extra-large size. The applications for our Knit & Wear machines include sweaters, waistcoats, dresses, tops, shorts, leggings, acces-sories, and many more. All of these in a wide range of pattern techniques.

With our Knit & Wear machines you can also quickly and economically knit a broad range of Fully Fashion fabrics, for example intarsia. That gives you complete freedom and the degree of utilization of your machines increases enormously.

And the use of the Stoll-applications® technology offers you completely new pattern effects; you can provide your knitted pieces with applications, e. g. trimming, pockets or collar solutions, without additional work steps. The make-up is already included.

YOU REACT TO THE MARKET OR THE MARKET REACTS TO YOU: WITH THE KNIT & WEAR-CLASS YOU SET THE SPEED.

Stoll Knit & Wear machines are optimally geared to the production of Knit & Wear garments. First and foremost the CMS 730 S knit & wear and the new CMS 830 S knit & wear – the specialists among the Knit & Wear machines. The motor-controlled, closed spring-loaded holding-down jacks enable even the most complicated shapes; the presser foot unit ensures a high level of process reliability; the variable 2nd stitch tension, which is also motor-controlled, provides for additional pattern effects; advance loop sinking by means of stitch preparation cams results in an increased knitting reliabil-ity, even during transfer.

Our Knit & Wear specialists are as easy to operate as all CMS machines. Whether it’s the low overall height, the optimal yarn feed, the movable display slide with Stoll-touchcontrol® or the short equipping times – they are completely oriented toward the needs of the knitter. An especially important feature: The fast carriage return with Power-RCR (Rapid Carriage Return). It enables you to realize Knit & Wear garments even faster and you’re always a step ahead of the market.

Yarn feedThe active yarn clamp unit, slack tensioner and permanent thread brake ensures an optimum interaction of yarn and needle – even at maximum loads.

CMS needleThe CMS needle is characterized by low needle consumption and a high level of safety during opening, closing, and transferring.

Stoll-multiflex® fabric take-down systemWith main take-down, upper take-down and take-down comb. Freely programmable and adjustable roller segments.

Motor-controlled 2nd stitch tension*Even greater stitch variance and additional pattern effects with the variable 2nd stitch tension.

Presser foot unit*With the presser foot unit it is possible to knit and transfer looser stitches. And that means knitting is possible with minimal take-down.

Holding-down jacks*You can realize especially demanding Knit & Wear garments with the closed spring loaded holding-down jacks with motor control.

*Only CMS 730 S knit & wear and CMS 830 S knit & wear.
