Welcome to Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek BV. Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek is a producer and supplier of a large scale of technical rubber products. Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek is a well known supplierof technical rubber products, metallic gaskets, jointing material, stuffing box gaskets, composite hoses andengineering plastics as well as soft PVC strip curtains and doors for the petrochemical industry, martime sectorand industry at large.Until 1993, Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek was known under the name Heeneman Rubbertechniek. The company has a long history at the Zuiderweg in Hoogkerk, near Groningen. In 1993 the company merged into the Hofland Deltaflex Group. This company was purchased by the Royal Econosto Group 1997. In 2001Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek moved to a modern production facility in the town of Leek (appr. 9 miles

from Groningen. Due to an MBO, in 2006, Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek left the Econosto Group andbecame an independent company again.

Nowadays, an enthousiastic team of specialists (from former companies as Deltaflex, Hofland and Heeneman) offers you many solutions in rubber, gaskets and hoses. Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek is supplier and producer of an enormous range of rubber products, gaskets in non-metallic as well as metallic. .

We are also supplier of standard trading products as rubber sheets, profiles, ringmats, soft and metallic gaskets, hoses, and soft pvc products. We produce also a lot of custom-made products. Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek is specialised in small series as well as large series, and also in rubber-metal bonded parts.

Camprofile Gaskets

DescriptionCamprofile gaskets consist of a metal core, generally of stainless steel, with concentric grooves on either side. A sealing layer is usually applied on both sides and depending onthe duty the material for this layer can be graphite, PTFE(Teflon), Mica or soft alloys like aluminium or silver. The sealing material layers protect the flange surfaces from damage as well as providing the optimum seal.

Properties Camprofiles have a wide seating stress range which makes them:

- Highly suitable for vaying temperatures and pressures- Less sensitive to assembly faults (such as inaccurate bolt tensioning)- Suitable for both ligjt and heavy designed flanges - Temperature resistent up to approx. 1000 degrees dependent on layer material - Resistent to media pressure up to 250 bar- When assembled the remaining thickness of the sealing material is extremely low (0.1 - 0.2 mm) and therefore reducing leaks, fail rates and environmental pollution- Will not damage flange surface and is easily to be removed- Reduces maintenance costs and leakage

Camprofile cores are re-usable after cleaning, inspection, pofile tracing and relayeringwith new sealing material. This is of particular interest. in the case of costly heat exchangergaskets when using exotic materials such as Monel.

Seating stress The following seating stress ranges offer reliable and effective performance.

(125-250 RMS), also referred to as smooth finish, however stock finish is acceptable.

The above values are based on parallel root form gaskets. The Values have slight variations for conves root form gaskets.

Rubbertechniek

Core thickness The core thickness depends on the assembly circumstances. When a camprofile is replacing an existing gasket, the use of a 4 mm thick core (M21L and M41L) should not be problematic. Only in exceptional situations using a thicker gaskets, might causeunneccessary stress on existing pipe runs, especially in rigid systems.

Styles M21LM and M41LM are available in 4 mm thickness only due to their construction.

Parallel root cores The advantages of parallel root cores are:- Uniform sread of stress at the cams - Uniform spread of stress across the flange surfaces

Convex root cores The advantages of convex root cores are: - Highly suitable for underbolted flanges- Effective seal at low seating stress- The gasket design ensures a high seating stress area (centre) and a lower seating stress area (gaskets outside)

M18L parallel root core with internal centring ring

M20L parallel root core without centring ring for male and female tongue & groove and grooved flanges

M21LM parallel root core with floating centring ring attached outside the sealing ring

M38L convex root core with integral centring ring

M40L convex root core for male/female tongue & grooved flanges

M40LM convex root core with floating centring ringattached outside the sealing ring

Gasket shapes Camprofile gaskets can be made in a variety of shapes and with pass-bars for heat exchangeer applications. Accutrate drawings are required for non-standard and shaped camprofiles.

Core material selection The core material is generally fabricated in identical material to the piping system to prevent corrosion problems.Stainless steel 316 camprofile cores are generally used with carbon steel pipe syems to prevent gaskets corrosion.

Layer material selection The following table may be used to determine the apprpriate sealing layer material.We recommend the use of graphite layers for most applications. In case were graphite may contaminate the media or if it is not chemically resistent, an alterntive layer should be chosen.
