LGV Cat C and Cat C+E Driving Licence

Duration: Ten days (Five days Cat C followed by five days Cat C+E)

Location: Avonmouth, Purfleet, Sheffield, Newbridge.

Suitable for: Anyone over 18 who holds a full car (Cat B) licence, subject to medical requirements.

Introduction: The ten-day package comprises five days Cat C and five days Cat C+E training. Your Cat C+E element of the course can only be started once you have passed you Category C test and received your full Category C licence from the DVLA.

Content: The areas covered throughout each of the two five day courses will include, Vehicle Safety, Use of Controls, Manoeuvring, Awareness and Planning amongst many other related topics. At the end of each day a debrief will take place on your progress so far. At some point during the first four days of each course you will be mock tested in preparation for your DSA driving test. Coupling and un-coupling will be included on the Cat C+E course.

If Scania Start Plus is not purchased, the trainee will organise/pay for practical and theory tests, medical and literature, (which would cost in excess of £300.00)

Progression: Product Familiarisation, (which includes safety), Advanced Driving Techniques; ABS/EBS, Fuel Efficient Driving, Driver CPC Training, Digital Tachograph, Working Time Directive, Mechanical Handling, Fork Lift Truck Licence and PCV Licence.
