1. CAMDEN. NOVEMBER. EVENING.

NARRATOR.Starting around 1791 Camden started to develop into the Camden we all know and love. The market attracted a lot of people, including tourists. Camden consists of a variety people, which is something we love. In society people with tattoos are increasing, no matter their age, occupation, gender or ethnicity, people want them. However there are different perceptions on tattoos. Some people believe they are a form of art whereas others think they are pointless. This documentary will be discussing whether people are being discriminated for having tattoos. Are they a form of expression? Do people have a right to discriminate someone solely on what is on their skin? Tattoos have been around for a long time but they are still not being accepted. Why people get them for cultural and religious reasons. Does it impact on their beliefs? There are reasons behind tattoos, could this change a persons view of them if they knew it was for a religious purpose? How Women with tattoos are conducted. Are women treated differently from men that have tattoos? Just because of the gender difference women are judged differently to men that have them. Lastly the dangers of tattoos. Do the horrific stories frighten people from getting them? We all hear about tattoos gone wrong but this fact does not stop them, every day someone gets a tattoo. We recently have done a survey, which showed that 16% of all adults have at least one tattoo. This illustrates that tattoos are slowly being considered acceptable and that more people want them.

This documentary is to show you that even though the perception of tattoos is changing, people are still being discriminated for something they love. Why are people still being judged because of their skin. Is it because it is unattractive? Inappropriate? Pointless? Or because tattoos are associated with the stereo type of being into heavy metal? Logo for Documentary. Welcome to INKED.
