First Minute-

PRESENTER: Tattoos are seen nearly everywhere now, no matter what the age, occupation, gender or ethnicity people want them. However people have different perceptions on the meaning for tattoos. (Extreme long shot of location) In this documentary I will be discussing whether people are being discriminated for having tattoos, why people get them for cultural reasons and religious, women with tattoos and finally the dark side. (Interviews with people throughout the series) TALK ABOUT CAMDEN TOWN AND THE HISTORY OF LOCATION

PRESENTER: (Presenter standing in front of the location, Camden) Starting around 1791 Camden started to develop into the Camden we all know and love. The market attracted a lot of people, including tourists. Camden consists of a variety people, which is something we love.

Second Minute-

PRESENTER: Tattoos are becoming more and more of a trend; they have developed dramatically and are becoming a form of expression. The earliest known examples of them were in Egypt and were present on several female mummies dated to c. 2000 B.C. There was evidence that women had tattoos on their bodies all with them on their thighs. (Pictures of old Egyptian tattoos)

PRESENTER: There has been a recent survey done which showed that 16% of all adults have at least one tattoo. This illustrates that tattoos are slowly being considered acceptable and that more people want them.

PRESENTER: (Overview of people in Camden with tattoos) (Interviews with people from Camden) 1.What does your tattoo mean?2.Since having It done, have you experienced any prejudice or discrimination?3.Depending on answer- do you regret it?

PRESENTER: Before tattoos were being perceived as something which was down grading. People were being looked down upon for it and were being discriminated. However nowadays the idea for tattoos has changed. A lot of people now want tattoos and normally after the first one they generally want more. (Pictures of people with tattoos) Such as the MP’s wife, she has a tattoo of a dolphin on her foot. This shows that peoples judgement of tattoos are changing. (Picture of MP’s foot tattoo)

PRESENTER: (Interview with older people to see their views about tattoos)1. What is your perception of tattoos?2. Do you have any?3. Have you ever considered any?

Fourth Minute-

PRESENTER: (Interview of people in tattoo shops) 1. Ask what they want2. Why?3. Will it effect their profession?(Interview with a tattoo artist)1. Have you applied for other jobs and what was the response?2. Was it affected because of your tattoos?3. Do you regard getting any of them?

Fifth Minute-

PRESENTER: After the break I will be discussing how tattoos have transformed from being something negative into something people love. I will be discuss the discrimination of tattoos.
