Establishing your own Nearshore Business in Mexico
Who we are?
• Founded in 2005, having Queretaro, Mexico as home of its Corporate HQ, and opening its USA subsidiary in Houston, TX in 2010.
• In 2010 ScreenIT began providing Virtual Captive solutions, Staff Leasing, and BOT services for US and LATAM clients seeking to leverage their operations in Mexico through a local partner.
Why to establish your Nearshore business in Mexico?
Nearshore IT outsourcing has been a great strategy for the last 15 years now, but how convinced are you to delegate your delivery and operations to a third party? There are several advantages of doing so, for the big giants, but how could you benefit out of this model without losing control of the operation?
A Captive Center is a completely owned and recognized as an expansion of a parent firm in a new geography. In this structure, the parent company keeps holds of highest control. Though, setting up a captive center requires a much time, needs big finances and enduring dedication. Thus involving high risks.
Value PropositionScreenIT came up 5 years ago with a hybrid model and very successful one known as Virtual Captive, which has been created to compliment the strengths of both captive and nearshore outsourcing. In the virtual captive model, your company will influence the resources and local presence of ScreenIT to establish a custom-built nearshore operation in Mexico.
Some of the immediate and tangible benefits are:1.- Lower Costs - How about reducing your direct costs in at least 30%?2.- Lower Risk - You don't need to setup a legal entity in Mexico, you leverage our infrastructure and overhead.3.- Quicker Time to Market - you can start having your team working as soon as 4 to 6 weeks from contract signature. 4.- Right balance between Risk vs Control - Do a Proof of concept, manage your risks but at the same time keep full control of the delivery.
How we do it?
Requirements Analysis•We analyze the requirements until we are able to clearly describe and document your nearshore operation in terms of talent, infrastructure, support, and management requirements.
Proposal and Acceptance•Once the nearshore operation is well-defined, we can work out a service delivery and pricing model and present this to you in a detailed proposal.
Services Agreement•At this stage, we formalize in a services agreement which will contain all the details of the nearshore operations, we may have agreed to.
Talent Acquisition•The talent requirements identified in Step 1 are translated into a staffing plan which gives all the details on the different job profiles, headcounts, and go-live dates for each position.
Infrastructure Acquisition•Typically, our IT department will work with our client's IT department to establish the characteristics of the equipment to use and will work on the leasing of it through our providers.
Go Live and Daily Ops•After go-live, your offshore operation will roll into normal daily operations. The management framework will kick into action and assure that your nearshore operation is performing well.
