3. The Test Booklet contains of 130 questions. The maximum marks are 300.
4. There are two sections in the question paper. The subject and distribution of marks of each part is as under.
SECTION I –
ENGLISH + MENTAL ABILITY – Question No. 1 to 30.
Each question carries One Mark. NO negative marking.
To qualify for Admission, a candiate has to score minimum 16 marks.
SECTION II – This section contains 4 Parts. Candidate has to solve only 3 parts.
Candidates opted for PCM group has to solve part A, B, and C.
Candidates opted for PCB group has to solve part A, B and D.
Part A – PHYSICS (100 marks), Question No. 31 to 55
Part B – CHEMISTRY (100 marks), Question No. 56 to 80
Part C – MATHEMATICS (100 marks), Question No. 81 to 105
Part D – BIOLOGY (100 marks), Question No. 106 to 130
5. There are four choices for every question. Out of which only one choice is correct.
6. Each Correct answer carries FOUR (4) marks and for each incorrect answer, ONE (1) mark will be deducted.
For unattempted question NO mark will be deducted.
7. Filling up more than one response in any question will be treated as wrong response and marks for this will
be deducted accordingly as per instruction 6 above.
8. No candidates is allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers, pager, mobile
phone and other electronic devices.
9. Rough work is to be done on the space provided in the Test Booklet only.
